This shit right here this shit right here don’t ever order the pastrami sandwich or anything else is one of the finger of meat and dry as the Sahara Desert so I would recommend this place at all not for lunch breakfast or dinner I give it two thumbs down who the hell puts lettuce and tomatoes on a Philly cheese steak with no cheese

Was just in there last night my first place trying out the place. I had the Philly cheese steak. About an hour after eating it I totally regretted it I got food poisoning. I’m still feeling it right now looks like I’m a be sick this week. Will never eat there again.

Nice couple who owns the place and I’d prefer to support a family business over a chain. The great chicken salad sandwiches make that easy!

Came here yesterday on my lunch break. First thing that annoyed me is neither of the people working could speak fluent English, or even a little English. I had to repeat my order like 3 times. I got my sand which and it sucked. I could’ve made a better one at home. They have a lot of other things on the menu that I have not tried, but if you’re looking for a sand which don’t go here.

I work across the street. I’ve been eye balling this place for sometime. Today I decide to try it out! So many options, I order a Philly cheese steak sandwich. Price is a little above the norm. However once I took the first bite I then knew where that extra money went to. I feel that I need to try everything on their menu. Challenge accepted!

The food is cooked fresh what more do you want? It dosent get better. I ordered a steak sandwich and the meat was cooked fresh out of the fridge. No freezing or precooked meat which is amazing. The bun was warmed up in the oven for a few minutes and the sandwich was very good. Also had a baked potatoe which was very soft and tasty. I liked the food so much I went 3 days in a row when I was working nearby. Then menu is so big you can not get bored of eating here. I only wish they had fresher jalapenos at the condiment area and also tabasco sauce. And the place needs some new ceiling tiles because they are way too greasy so I give it one less star for that.

God bless the small business owner putting it all on the line and serving the worker bees of Santa Ana! That said, the food was low quality, just like what you’d find from the average food truck, the ones they used to call a ‘roach coach’. I had the standard Italian sub on wheat, which I realize is not normal. The bread was dry and the bread to meat ration wasn’t up to par. I’d recommend to order the white role or make sure you ask for a fresh wheat roll. I may come back to try the chicken salad that everyone raves about if I“m in the neighborhood for a postal visit.

I work right by this place. I’ve had just about everything they make. It’s all great. They are quick and portions are good bang for your buck.

Been working near this sandwich shop for almost a year and finally tried it. YUM! I got the Italian sub which had the perfect flavor I was craving and the perfect amount of Italian dressing. I’m going back today for the Spaghetti lunch special. Way better than Subway down the road. The inside is kind of small and all the tables where taken at 11:45 am. Took my food to go.

This is your average run of the mill mom ‘n pop hole in the wall joint. And there’s not a thing wrong with that. Being a creature of habit, I’ve only ever had a few of their different cold sandwiches, nothing else. But I will say that the cold sandwiches I’ve had have been fantastic. Soft, fresh French roll and they certainly don’t skimp on the meats unlike SOME places I’ve gone to(Hello Subway!!). Here’s a tip: if you come here during the normal lunch hour, parking can get horrendous. It’s a tiny strip mall with way too many eateries in it

Great place, Philly steak needs a little more cheese, so order it with extra cheese. Great value, great food, and very nice people. It is a small little place but they have a huge selection. Delivery till 11am

It’s a typical old school sandwich shop. A very large menu. The place is pretty run down looking. But the sandwiches are decent. The parking lot can get crowded at times. There’s a drink fountain for free refills

Surprised how good the food was! The place definitely needs a remodel and maybe a smaller menu, BUT the food is good and the people are nice. The place is reminiscent of those local sub shops that I grew up with. I would go back, no hesitation

Honestly I was really hesitant to enter this place. It reminded me of a horrible donut shop in LA that sold the worst donuts but my grandmother would still buy from them because it was close to my school. But I had to give it a chance the Unilocal force brought me in Hahaha So I go in during my lunch and its not crowded… hmmm so now I’m thinking of running out. But the lady behind the counter was super nice. I look over the huge huge menu. I decide on the lrg super steak combo. Comes out to about $ 10.So i wait about 6 – 7 mins and people start pouring in as if a bus just let out right in front of the place. Wow… now its packed and I stand up so people eating there can actually have a seat. I get my food to go and when I open it up its a huge sandwich and it smells great. The bread was crispy but soft in the middle and the steak was great. I inhale my sandwich since it was an amazing surprise. The fries were salted perfectly.,. I cant stand fries with no flavor especially no salt. Some were a bit soggy but ehhhh i can live with it. Next was the ice for my drink. I love those crushed ice machines that come out like like pellets. I wish I had one at home. All in all a good place for lunch. Definitely one of my lunch regulars.

Tuna sub is to die for. My co worker mentioned a little deli from where we work. Great subs, slightly expensive, but worth the extra 3 bucks.

I was surprised at this little place! Seems like most sub sandwich shops today really skimp on the items, especially the MEAT! This place really loaded up the meat on the Italian sandwich. The bread was store bought, but they brought it together with how they just over stuffed the sandwich. Over all, you really get your moneys worth here. I will return to try the other items…

I was actually heading to Subway when I noticed this place so I figured I’d try it out. Since it was a sandwich I figured it wasn’t the end of the world if it sucked. It’s your typical lunch spot with a few tables and a board of items behind the counter. I decided to go with the first item on the menu– the Italian sandwich. I liked the bread it was on, I thought it tasted great, and it was one of the better ones that I have had. It’s just one experience but I’ll definitely want to check it out again to see if the other sandwiches compare. What I didn’t like is that all the tables were dirty. A guy came by with a dirty rag and basically just smeared the grease around. Yes, sort of gross esp when it’s glistening in the sun. Maybe next time I’ll take it to go!

I think that Rob H. must have been paid to write such a glowing review because this place had the WORST Philly Chicken Cheesesteak I’ve ever had. This is the first one star I’ve given and I don’t feel bad at all about it. I just wish that people were more honest with their write ups. It would have saved me the 10 minute trip over there from down town santa ana…
