Dr Meka, he is very nice, but his staffing destroy all the kindness the he is, he always paid attention to me and prescribed what I need :-)

I don’t usually make a list but this review calls for it.
These are my personal reasons for not recommending Dr. Meka:
— unnecessarily long wait time (with an appointment 45minutes minimum — 2 hours)
— incompetent and/​or careless staff
— prescription recommendations that are unsuitable for current health issue
— Hardly spending time with patients (multiple family members see him) one on one time lasts 5 – 8 minutes per visit
— Lack of guidance or maybe he is not up to date on modern medicine.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO HERE! First off, it is located in a very old, disgusting, and dingy office (I should have known right when I saw it). Secondly, the staff had very basic, trade school knowledge and made me wait FORTY FIVE minutes even though I had an appointment, so they could figure out my insurance information. Thirdly, after my forty five minutes wait I finally get to see Dr. Krush blah blah however you spell her name because she failed to introduce herself, for five minutes and then my physical is over. This place makes you feel like your health is some type of business transaction. If you value high customer service and your health DON’T GO HERE!

I’m only giving a one star for this office reason being is because for one Dr. Meka is awesome! But If I could I would give zero stars because of the rudeness of the staff and the long wait times which will and can take up half of your day. I like the Anaheim office more due to the friendly staff, the wait still can be long at the Anaheim office but not as long as Santa Ana’s office. Hope this helps!

Not good. Took my wife to Doc Meka’s with abdominal pain. She had to return to take tests which they told us we would get results for in a week.
A week later they told us we needed to wait another two days for results to the blood test and a whole other week for results to the ultrasound.
One nurse was disrespectful and there was a time they didn’t answer the phone.
One helpful tidbit was that we didn’t have insurance and they helped us get set up with a government program to help a little with the cost.
Generally, I would not recommend this establishment.

Oh, Dr. Meka. The only doctor I would trust my life with. Wait, I already do!
Seriously, Dr. Meka is very good at what he does. His waiting room is great evidence of that. Yes, you’re going to wait. However, the same reason why restaurants have lots of people is the same good sign in a doctor’s office. That means he’s better than the rest. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Meka for at least ten years and we are never going to switch providers.
His office is run by the very capable and friendly Anna and the others there are also very helpful. His PA’s and nurse practitioners are more than capable of treating patients in Dr. Meka’s place but if you would like to see the good doc yourself, just ask the girls in the office. They’d be more than happy to accommodate!
