Mini U Storage

I was only here for a month and my experience was great. The office staff was always very pleasant. The prices are great.

I chose this location over Irvine/​Jamboree because I/​J was pathetic about good customer service. I know we all want to close and go home but no whining, especially when I’m getting TWO units and one is XXL. Now that I know there are more affordable options, and the lady laughed at my dry jokes (yes, that’s worth points), I won’t be back to the I/​J location.
BTW, these units are older but it’s storage and you have the locks. Enough said!

The place is okay just like any other storage facility. The managers there are alright. Nothing special. I rented a truck there once and when you return the truck you have to refill the gas tank to its original amount. Most places have you refill the tank to its full position but at this facility for some reason they have you refill the tank at «half full» position which makes it hard when refilling the tank. How do you know when to stop? You end up putting more gas then which is needed. I just thought that was stupid.

The Short, Simple & Sweet:
My boyfriend and I share a storage space with two other people at this location. The price is a steal. It’s not much different aesthetically than any other storage facility you’d typically see (maybe a tad older), except the people that own it /​work there are really, really sweet and actually remember who you are. So sweet in fact, that when we were in our storage space spending what seemed like HOURS digging to find our «Endless Summer» DVD, the maintenance guy (John) dropped off two bottles of water for us to help remedy the man-​made sauna we found ourselves in. That makes the drive all the way down to Costa Mesa totally worth it for us. :)
