If your looking for that hole in the wall find this is the place. I haven’t ate here since 1996 and it was packed as usual. Don’t be intimidated that it does Mexican, Japanese and burgers. A must try for a quick meal on the fly. CASH only so don’t get caught off guard.

Love the food, for that the 4 stars. Locations are beat up and small, the place gets jam packed, they should remodel, obviously they make good money, I’d give a 1 on actual restaurant looks… I recommend ordering to go. Again, love the food, not so much the ambiance…

Simply the best chicken bowl in Orange County. Nobody else comes close. The only downside is they skimp on the teriyaki sauce which happens to be the best teriyaki sauce around.

Small place, food is tasty and very good amount. The only thing I don’t like about this place is that they only take cash.

This place used to be an old Taco Bell if you can remember that far back now it is an awesome Mexican food restaurant but they have other offerings I get the number 5 teriyaki chicken with a couple bites of shrimp a little salad and egg roll pretty good deal for $ 7 this place is worth the drive right next to the DMV on Grand Avenue easy to find. Small Inside area to eat but has nice outdoor patio so you can even bring your dog if you want.

Fantastic flame grilled teriyaki. I always get the number 5 with the egg roll and shrimp. The wait isn’t that’s bad either.

Same problem as last one. Call way ahead just for them to start making it when I get here.

Pretty good teriyaki. They’re pretty quick with the service. But cash only so beware. I think it’s reasonably priced too. But no brown rice option I believe but that doesn’t bother me.

I went to this spot on Tuesday, October 20th2015 about 7:30pm. Beware, this is a popular local spot. Parking is limited so be patient. Also it is cash only though they have a ATM machine in the house. I got a chicken and beef combo plate which came with a vegetable eggroll and a gyoza. They really cook this stuff to order so it taste really good but my preference would be the chicken. It is tender and moist what seemed like dark meat. The beef is more like chipped beef so The quality even after grilling is not all that great. That is my opinion only. The cost of the combo was only eight bucks so it won’t kill you to try the beef. They also had fried shrimp and other fried seafood I can’t remember off the top of my head. Honestly, this is not a date spot. This is primarily for pick up and to take home or somewhere else. Would I go again? Definitely !

Came here a while ago but haven’t written a review! They give you a lot of food!!! I’d return just for the great value on foooooood! The ladies who I work with LOVE this place! They come at least once a week! For me, nothing beats Nikko in HB!!! But this place sure does come close esp with the amount of food they give you!

MOS is the reason why I always carry an emergency ten dollar bill in my wallet. Pulling into the back parking lot, your front windshield glass fogs up with the charbroiled goodness cooking up in their kitchen. This is the real deal, folks. A teriyaki bowl seems simple enough: meat and rice with sauce on top. These days, you can find a teriyaki joint on almost every corner in Orange County, be it a Flame Broiler or WaBa Grill. But no one can master the teriyaki bowl the way MOS does. The highlight here is the beef teriyaki bowl. Thin cuts of teriyaki-kissed steak are burnt to smokey goodness(like your papi’s Sunday carne asada), nestled over a bed of a sticky white rice, that is handy in absorbing the juices from the carne and teriyaki sauce. The result is a flavor explosion that will make you say«fuck Flame Broiler.»

It’s not as good as the original Mos Burgers in Santa Ana off of edinger, but it gets the job done. If you’re looking for good food, and you’re tired of Chinese take out, this is the spot to hit. Don’t waste you’re time with the bowls, get a plate and make the trip worth it. So what if it’s not in a nice neighborhood, the food is still bomb.

I grew up with Amos. To me they’re the pioneers to Flame Broiler, Saba grill etc. You either love it or hate it!

I love Mos -.- can’t get over that smokey chicken taste Mos has been around for many years. and is still here. I give it 5 stars just for that salad dressing I like to put it in my chicken :)
