Red Carpet RV Storage

I have been storing my Carson enclosed trailer for 5 years with Red Carpet RV Storage. I have not had any issues and I feel secure about keeping my trailer there. For me, Tom has been great. He’s professional and responsive. Overall, access to retrieve my trailer has been easy and the service has been hassle-​free. Best experience I’ve had dealing with storage.

People beware when renting UHaul trucks from here. I advise you to take before and after pictures of the truck odometer AND fuel gauge. I rented a truck with a full tank and returned it after hours with a FULL tank. The next day I got a email receipt showing the fuel level ¹⁄₁₆ under full tank and I was charged for 2 gallons of gas @ $ 5 gallon. I went back to the rental office and I told the manager I filled it back to a full tank and that the pump wouldn’t allow anymore gas. He said that he checked the truck in and it indicated ¹⁄₁₆ under a full tank. If that’s the case then someone siphoned gas over night from the truck because of no locking gas cap. He wouldn’t give me the benefit of the doubt and didn’t refund me the $ 10. Take my advice, take pictures!
UPDATE: One week after I wrote this review I was refunded $ 10 for gas.

I want to say thank you to Tom for always being so helpful and accommodating my needs. I store my 32′ motorhome there for the past 4 or even 5 years. I have never had any problems with anything. Easy access gated secured. I also rented a uhaul tom gave me a great deal explained it very good detail made the trip very easy. even upgraded the miles just incase needed. I rent my motorhome out and if someone wants to see it he will allow access to the renter to deliver it back or to look at it for renting. I love the convenience right off the 405 freeway. Thanks you Tom for you kindness

Worse customer service. They need to hire better staff that does not have attitude problems when they are asked of something to do their job. Tom is the worse customer service ever met in my life. I’ve asked him questions about my rental and all he does is life like he’s on drugs or something. This guy does not deserve your rental !

Tom is a total f’ing crook. First of all, he didn’t have our truck when we came to pick it up and said since we arrived late uhaul took our truck back (lie #1). tom then told me the truck had ¼ tank of gas but it was a hair under ¼ tank when we picked it up. No biggie… we drove it 11 miles so i put $ 10 in gas in it. when i returned the truck it had more gas in it than when we picked it up. Tom said since it had less than ¼ tank of gas he would charge us a $ 30 fee for gas (lie #2). Then, upon returning the truck, tom told us the uhaul system was down and he couldn’t bill us (lie #3).
This guy has no clue had to run a business. I didn’t have the truck we arranged to have and he rippped me off on the gas. He kept his baseball bat where anyonw can see it probably because he’s pissed off his share of customers. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS KIND OF BUSINESS WHERE THEY TRY TO RIP YOU OFF FOR EVERY PENNY THEY CAN!!! Unilocal needs to have negative stars for establishments like this!

Rented a van for a couple hours, guy was nice honored the deal he gave over the phone and they even updated the mileage without having to call, argue, bicker or fight thank you!
