Came to buy a magic wand to add to our arsenal of toys. Was going to order on amazon but they have descent prices and gave me a discount and there’s a lot of bootleg products online so decided to purchase here along with other toys.

Clean! I didn’t feel like I had to hold my breath or else I’ll catch AIDS or accidentally inhale wandering meth vapors. It felt like a normal store. They’re stocked with pretty quality product. This was the 1^st adult shop I actually was down to touch things. Worker wasn’t weird or a douche. There’s PARKING. A wee but more than average prices though.

This is my first time in an adult store and it was a pretty calm experience… I think. I went to buy a secret Santa gift. The place looks bigger on the outside. Inside is divided basically into a dvd section and then the rest in the other half. It seemed pretty fully stocked and there were many choices for everything… But some of the stuff had a layer of dust on it…
I like how they had like a gag gift/​party section… it’s small but has a variety of stuff. I think everything was decently priced (I don’t really know the market for those things).
The cashier seemed very bored and unhappy but I went kind of late at night and the place is open ²⁴⁄₇ so I guess I can’t really blame him…
For parking you have to go in one way and out the other so make sure you enter in the right place!

It was sort of busy on a Friday evening around 7pm so it made it hard for me to fully shop around and look and look and look because I like to look at EVERYTHING I can.
10% off for couples, yeah! But the fellow told us we can use the Unilocal checkin discount every time we visit, and we got a punch card. I think spend 200 and get a 20 coupon or something of the like.
Helpful staff, well lit, prices as I’d expect. Just minus one start for how cramped the joint is.

First experience coming into an adult store and did not feel weirded out at all.
I decided to get a gag-​gift for a girlfriend’s bachelorette party, and found this place on Unilocal.Not quite sure what I was expecting with regards to the vibe of this place, or any adult store for that matter. Nonetheless, the staff at this place were super helpful.
I came in, a virgin to the whole experience and asked what their popular items were for the ladies. Number one on the list? Edible panties. They were super professional, friendly, but not suffocating with customer service — I got to choose my panty selection in peace, contemplating to get the vanilla, strawberry, or chocolate flavored pants.
Pretty good experience, and now I know where to get kinky toys.

Good selections of toys. Kind of curious why the dvd selection is so large because who the heck watches an entire «adult» movie? It is also nice that they have brochures about different items and their uses.

This place is pretty awesome. It has everything you need. From jockstraps to dildos to electric cleaners. I would definitely recommend any one to go there before going anywhere else.

This is secretly my go to spot ;) I love the variety of toys and the customer service is great ! My first experience wasnt the best as I had purchased something and read the reviews so asked to exchange it five minutes later and the cashier gave me a lot of attitude and said to make sure I knew what I wanted next time and that he wouldn’t exchange it ever again. The last few times I’ve been a different cashier has been super helpful and even put batteries in so I could see how powerful and noisy the toys were. He is adorable! However, the prices are pretty meh. I find the things I buy in store for $ 10-​$ 30 cheaper online but I would rather support a small business. I’m still not over my bad experience the first time, but this is still my go to place!

I personally think this store is a little sketchy compared to other sex shops I’ve been in but I’ve only ever gone here in the middle of the night. If you are a girl I wouldn’t really recommend walking around this parking lot at night by yourself… Anyways, the employees inside are always really helpful and nonjudgmental and they serve free coffee!
The store is mostly DVDs but they do have a decent selection of toys, bdsm stuff, novelty items, and lubes/​oils. If you’re not sure what to get they have a little bit of everything and the staff is always there to help you out. It’s a fun place to look around when it’s late and other places aren’t open.
Make sure you check in so you can get 20% off your purchase because I didn’t realize they had the discount until I had already paid.

He made me felt so comfortable purchasing my item that i was not at all nervous unlike some other adult stores where they give you the creeps. Who would of thought that you can get quality service and helpfulness from an adult store. I went looking for my first toy on Sunday around 10pm. At first I hesitated to go alone but from all the reviews I’ve read it doesn’t seem shady or threatening.
As soon as you walk in your greeted with a smile and welcome! I made my way towards their wide selection of all kinds of gizmos & gadgets. I had no idea where to even begin «though they have pamphlets educating you on how things work». Maybe the Clerk sensed that I was lost because he approached me asking if I needed any assistance and already offering me discounts!
He was very sweet and patient, willing to explain to me about the most popular devices and how they work while balancing everything else that’s going on through out the store. After trusting his recommendation he went to check if it was working properly, even wore latex gloves to keep things clean. After handing me free batteries, 20% off discount, free stickers, and a rewards card I couldn’t help leaving feeling like a winner. I found my favorite store and Clerk all in the same day!

I think this is my favorite adult store. I’ve been to a handful in Southern California (SCV, SFV, LA, OC), but the selection here is great and I love that it’s open super late.
They have so many discounts, so even if your purchase seems pricey, you can def knock it down by a good amount. I received a couples’ discount and the Unilocal check-​in discount. I have yet to use the $ 20 for $ 30 Unilocal deal.
I love their selection of toys and accessories. They have a wide selection of BDSM toys too, including ball gags and rope.
I recommend that you check it out yourself. The parking lot itself is really cool, and the cop car in front of the store!

I didn’t like the awkaward quiet in the store, customer service was some older Hispanic looking guy, lol and that’s totally cool with me, buuuuut in a sex shop, I like some feeling of comfort and friendliness. This dude was too quiet for a freaky little spot like spanky’s;)
Besides that, good selection of toys, some cool props, lotions outfits etc. place has a little of everything. Love it

I had just fallen asleep and my phone starts going off at 2:30 in the morning. I panic because no one calls in the middle of the night unless its something really important. I pick it up and its my best friend. I’m nervous with a million thoughts racing through my head. I ask if everything is okay and she says «Yes I’m fine. Can you wake up and go with me to the Porn store?» Does she not know what time it is or does she just not care. Really? I should have hung up on her but I’m too super nice and say Ok. I’m a sucker!
We decide to meet at Spankey’s. We both park in the back lot. Parking is a little tight. I guess everyone has the same idea to come here since the lot is half full.
Left the stunner shades in the car. No need to feel awkward at Spankey’s. I’m no adult store virgin so I walk around like its a candy store. The employees are pretty chill. They laugh at My bestee and I as we slap each other with vibrators and put dildos on top of each other’s heads.
The stores a little small but great selection of Sex Toys including The Rabbit, Blow up dolls «-», Swings, Straps, Handcuffs, felatio liquid, anal beads, Lotions, Lubes, Edible panties, Lingerie, Huge selection of DVD’s and a whole bunch of other naughty stuff.
We each buy a few toys. Might as well, it’s not like were regulars =) Used the 20% off discount with Unilocal check in.
Overall Spankey’s is a great shop with affordable prices and good selection. I like this place.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Kind of in a seedy party of Garden Grove and a little small but they will have everything you need. The people that work here are pretty cool and ready to answer all your questions and offer their opinion about products and such. They carry pretty much everything but keep in mind have a smaller selection since it’s a smaller store. The have a HUGE selection of DVDS (you can find creepy guys perusing this section), lingerie, toys, sex supplements, lube, party favors, S&M stuff… and more! Oh, and if you come here check out the funny artwork they have around their parking lot! It’s hilarious!

Knowing Spanky’s was open 24 hours, my boo and I decided to venture on over. I feel very awkward writing a review on an adult store but I actually kinda enjoy visiting! It’s actually not as intimidating as I imagined and the staff seems to be very… unassuming.
We decided to go… because we’re sex shop virgins. And it is what I expected. Pulling into the back lot, some of the spaces have cute paintings of sexual euphemisms. You can even take a picture in a cut out at the entrance. Very silly, fun stuff.
When you enter from the back (eh heh), all the sexy videos are on the left. There are glass shelves of different types of lubes in front of each aisle, which is what I imagine, most couples come in to get.
At first glance, the store looks very small and cramped, and… it is. Looking around just to browse at the different kinky and funny products take all of 30 minutes, unless you’re actually looking to buy. I learned a lot, to say the least! They sell bachelorette party supplies, which I hope hasn’t been there long since a lot of items were edible.
I’m giggling the whole way through this review because I am ridiculously modest. Good things about Spanky’s: I didn’t feel like I was being creeped on or judged.
On top of that, there are multiple discounts for couples, ladies, etc. Even more of an incentive to check this little store out! I can’t exactly give the place 5 stars, since I haven’t been to other adult stores so I’ll just leave it at 4 for now. :3

During dinner, two of my female friends admitted that they had never went into an adult store. WTF. Regardless of your gender or sexual orientation, I thought that was one of the first places you went when you hit 18? They were curious, but too embarrassed to go on their own, and even more shockingly, BUY SOMETHING. I had to rectify the situation and what better way than at Spanky’s Adult Emporium around midnight.
Though it’s in a little bit of a sketchy looking neighborhood, it’s really clean and organized inside. Just look for the old fashioned cop car as your driving down Harbor Blvd. near First St. Parking is a little tight, but once you get into their back lot, it’s got quite a few spaces. It tends to fill up when it’s dark, probably because people are less embarrassed to be seen going in. You enter from the back lot, so you’re hidden from the main street.
The small store has a variety of DVDs, toys, underwear, lubes, condoms, and more for your choosing at reasonable prices. The staff is really knowledgeable on their products and will even give you alternatives if you have an allergy to latex or anything else that might make you itch.
My gal pals were comfortable once they were inside. Probably because there were a good amount of women in the store as there were men, so it was less intimidating. Don’t be afraid to ask the guys at the counter for something that you might think is weird or taboo, I’m sure they’ve heard it all before and probably raunchier.
They have party gag gifts if you need them for your next bachelor/​bachelorette party. But if you’re like me, you’ll just buy something big and intimidating and wrap it in frilly wrapping paper to conceal it’s true identity. Nothing beats the receiver’s facial expression when they open something that requires double D batteries in an El Torito in front of their parents. Happy birthday indeed!
