Horrible service — lying and cheating delivery people. Lied about delivering to our house multiple times. Can’t get phone calls back from local supervisors. We are canceling TODAY.

worst company ever. canceled account and kept billing me and send my account to collection. They promised to give me a credit and pick up the cooler. But they never did. instead they kept charging me monthly service. Do not ever engage in doing business with this company. They are master at deceiving their clients.

JUST DON’T DO IT, not even through costco, not worth the time or trouble.

Talk about the worst service ever anywhere on this or any other planet. Ordered water service and confirmed on sept 29. No one showed up, called customer service and they kept hanging up on me, asked for manager and they transferred me to a voicemail, left a message and no one returned my call. Finally on October 14 sent an email to their general address to cancel my service and over a month later get a confirmation to that my service has been canceled and stated that their customer service will be glad to restart the service at anytime:)

I dont usually write reviews but im SOOOO FRUSTRATED I WANNA PUNCH SOMEONE!!! This company is the WORSTTTTT!!!
I signed up for the water delivery service and they gave me an appointment for the next week between 9 and 5!, so on the day im waiting for my delivery and NOBODY shows up. i call the company n they keep me on hold for almost AN HOUR and keep transferring me to different people… Then finally 1 person says «ok ill let our route manager contact you about delivery time, but sometimes they cant make it before 5.30 because they have so many deliveries AND delivery times are actually between 9 and 6.30!» Like SERIOUSLY!
So i missed my 5.30 class BUTTT. NOBODY contacted me and NOBODY SHOWED UP! I called back and again they put me on hold for another 1 million hours and transferred me from 1 person to another and then. THE LINE GETS MYSTERIOUSLY DISCONNECTED!!! So basically my whole day WASTED! Again I called them (i wasnt gonna let them get away with it) and of course the call centre was closed by then!!! Im sure u can imagine how PISSED i was by then!
The next day obviously i woke up with flames coming out of my head and REPEEEEEAT! So if u wanna know what happened the next day just read this all over again!
Finally, after hours of suffering with the call centre the ‘route manager’ calls and guess what ?! He says they DONT do ‘on call deliveries’ which is the only reason i actually chose this company, so i was like thats what i signed up for! and he says «some people in the call centre are new and they dont know what they’re talking about»… R u kidding fu*king meeee right now? like WTH is wrong with u ppl!!! SOOOOO unprofessional! And then i said well my neighbours have this service thats how i got to know about it, he was like where do you live? As if im making it up ! And then he said «we dont do that anymore!!! We dont make enough money!» Anyway i told him to cancel the delivery and then i called the company to cancel the account too. (which took another hour of my life).
And i promise you if i see any charges on my bank account from them for ANY reason. IM SUING THEM!!!
DO NOTTTTTTTTT AND I REPEAT DOOOOO NOOOOOOOTTTTTTT DEAL WITH THEM, THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY IVE EVER DEALT WITH, THEY HAVE THE WORST CALL CENTER AND THE WORST STAFF. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN FOREVER, THEY SUCKKKK IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE… TRUST ME!!! IM WARNING YOU!

do not ever order home delivery from them. i have been trying to cancel for 18 days straight. no call backs, on hold for over an hour every single day only to be transferred and put on hold again. they will not contact me to cancel. this has to be illegal.

If I could choose 0 star, I would!!! I have received the absolute WORST service w/​Sparkletts/​DS– I hope I never see them @ Costco again because they will get an earfull! I signed up over 6+ months ago and I have yet to receive and actual bill in the mail from them. I called to cancel and got ahold of Greg who came to set up and he convinced me into keeping it & since I thought everything was being straightened out I didn’t cancel. Now 2+ months later I still haven’t received a bill, they leave waters and don’t pick up the empty ones. I chose to cancel and it has now been about a month that I have been trying to get them to pick up their stuff!!! I refuse to just leave everything outside then end up being charged later on for stuff I know I returned (which I wouldn’t see since they haven’t mailed ANYTHING to me!!). I requested any day after 4pm-​they call me at 12:30pm on a weekday telling me they went to my house. I let them know I work and I made sure to ask for someone to come after 4pm. The driver tells me how its going to be too late so I told him he needs to figure it out because I’m not available to wait around for them to come when they please. I call again about 2 wks ago and they were supposed to come a wk ago Monday @ 4pm. I left work early and they never showed up!!! Now monday morning 8:30 as my husband is leaving to take our son to school and the driver shows up. My husband wasn’t going to take our son late because they showed up randomly!!! I specifically requested last Monday after 4pm! I checked my account online and there’s the monthly fee for Today’s delivery??? WTH?! It’s so ridiculous how TERRIBLE they are. I call Greg and he said he couldn’t help me and to just call and ask for a supervisor. We’ll see how that goes, maybe I will get thru 45min later!!! I feel like telling them to just charge me for what I have and let me keep it. I’d rather do that than deal with hese people any longer!!!

After calling about five different numbers to contact this company regarding an account with them and them leaving the incorrect order when no one was around to bring it inside… It was left in the heat outside! No common sense! But it was not even close to being the correct order anyhow!!! They are really slippin’!

BEWARE of Sparkletts in the Garden Grove area as they have the WORST service EVER!!!
I had been using their water delivery service for years in Irvine and I have never had a challenge with Sparkletts as the driver and Supervisor for Irvine were absolutely the best.
Then I move to Garden Grove and it is literally the complete opposite experience. First of all, you are lucky if you even get a delivery on your scheduled date but if the driver missed your home, you will need to call them 3 times on 3 different dates and wait over 30 minutes on the phone each time before you can get a representative on the phone. They then say that they will send a message to the driver and deliver the next day and it doesn’t happen. You will receive disappointment after disappointment of delivery dates that aren’t kept.
The driver must be a complete MORON or the laziest person EVER! I guess that should be expected since his supervisor follows suit and so does the Regional Supervisor above him.
It is definitely not worth the headache to have this water delivery service. Do not use them unless you want to be ripped off and constantly disappointed.

The worst customer service I have ever encountered anytime. No way to reach them by phone. Billing and website are inaccurate. If you call them, it will take over 30 minutes to get a representative. They charged my credit card without authorization. When I questioned their shady policy, the customer rep hung up on me! Even canceling their service was hard. Very unpleasant experience. I do not recommend them.

The customer service at Sparkletts/​DS is TERRIBLE! Please safe yourself the trouble and don’t do business with them. It takes forever to get through to the call center, my emails never got a response, my tweets never got a response, they overcharged me and I waited all day for my scheduled delivery that never came. They don’t even deserve one star. You’ll be wasting your time, money, and energy by using Sparkletts’ services… That should be their slogan.
Edit– I’ve learned that they pay by commission so they’ll leave you with more product than you ordered and then charge you for it!!! How is this legal? If you need water delivery do what I did and go with Nestle.

OK these guys have the WORST accountability system. But then the customer suffers. As you can see in the other reviews, Sparkletts magically «doesn’t know» or «doesn’t understand» why certain errors occur in the system.
When we signed up, we paid for the cooler machine. I had to put a deposit plus pay for the rack, and the cooler. Over the year of «service» I have come across many frustrations. We started out on a 3 bottle /​month plan. The first month we had 5 bottles delivered and got charged for 5 bottles instead of 3, rightfully so. But, I ordered 3, not 5 so they at least cancelled the next delivery but then and there I saw that this is part of their sales ploy to move more water. They lost credibility with me then.
But wait — it gets better! So now that we’re moving and cancelling our service, we have found that they don’t even keep good records. I randomly called in one time asking how many bottles it shows in their system. They were off by 3 bottles and then they corrected it. Now, their system is showing that we now have 0 bottles left, when in fact we have 2. They can’t even keep track of things correctly! They are also stating we never paid for the cooler and need to return it, when we did. So rather than have to pay for the cooler twice, I’d much rather not have the cooler at all and spare the anger every time I look at it. If you actually have 0 bottles, but their system shows you still have some, you will pay $ 6 /​bottle. Luckily I’m not in this situation, but if I wanted to pay for the cooler a 2^nd time, I’d have to pay around $ 224. Ridiculous!
Oh, and it is true what the other reviews are saying about the phone support with customer service. It at least takes 26 minutes to wait for someone to answer EVERY TIME. Doesn’t matter what day or time it is. On average, I wait around 30 minutes and then it usually takes another 30 minutes being on the phone. Over the year, I’ve probably called at least 20 times. You do the math and you’ll see how much of your life is wasted.
If I knew it was this much of a hassle to deal with Sparkletts, I would have never signed up. A 1-​star gives them too much credit.

If you want a good indication on how this company is run then try calling them to set up your account… Haha you will never get through

I had Sparkletts a few years ago which was fine then and I got in on a special for $ 5.99/bottle so I went for it. The sales person Jade set me up for Purified even though I specifically said Spring. She did not return my call prior to delivery. The driver, a nice guy I had last time, brings me 4 bottles and tells me it’s a buy 2 get 2 special. Fine except the billed me $ 12 deposit for the 2 extra bottles. I had a long conversation with Don Chappel @ Sparkletts who was going to credit me the $ 12 and get me the Spring. I get the spring Monday and recheck my invoice which was more money and the credit never applied. Plus additional bottles were $ 10.99 even though the site had them for $ 7.99 which is what arrowhead is. I was just on hold for 20 minutes and Mary is supposed to credit me the $ 12 for the 2 extra bottles and adjusted my account so water is $ 5.99 for a year. When she felt she was done she gets ready to hang up. I said I’ve been on hold for 20 minutes and you’ll hang up when I have all my questions answered. My water tastes like crap so I need bottled. Too bad Paradise is so screwed up. They could really come in and take business away from Sparkletts with good service and competitive pricing. Oh and I emailed Don Chappel @ Sparkletts about this problem (he gave me his email address) and he never responded.
EDIT: 12÷5÷15. Negative Stars. Every month my account shows I get 2 bottles of distilled water only I have NEVER ordered distilled water, EVER. They changed drivers, the new driver comes at a different time, never told me so I had to lug my bottles in. He told me he banged on the doors and hurt his knuckles but I never answered. My doors were open I was right there, he is a liar. He did not give me credit for a returned bottle. After 2 months they finally gave me credit but not enough, so I still have balance. Their information on my account is different then what they see and my end is constantly screwed up.
If you call them, and you get through and don’t get disconnected, they sound like they will help but don’t be fooled. If you message them through the website, good luck, you will never hear back. It took a month once and the email bragged about their world class customer service. What world? Not one I live in.
The drivers are mostly ok, if you get a good one, but if you have problems, forget it. The office continues to be a nightmare. It boggles me how they can stay in business. Here is the email of a supervisor who helped once after I sent them nasty feedback. After that nothing.
I strongly advise NOT linking your credit card or account with them. No telling what they will do.
Bottle water in the OC is a joke.
Update 12÷22÷15 I have now been on hold waiting for the escalation department for 20 minutes. It took me 2 months to get a credit for 2 empties I returned in September not just one. They messed that up. I cancelled my service and spoke to the driver yesterday, Ashley or something like that, to pick up my last empties. «Do you have my 3 bottles» «Yes». Today I have credit for 2 empties. I even took a photo of the 3 empties sitting on my steps becasue I didn’t trust them. They are like cockroaches. I can’t get rid of them. How can they continue to screw things up and still be in business?
Unilocal needs to be ahead of the curve with ratings and actually allow people to give zero stars or even negative. I may file a complaint with the state about these guys. That’s how bad they are.

I am so over this delivery service! what a joke… the billing service is whack and getting a hold of someone on the phone is near to impossible. you would think with the costco service it would be great but look elsewhere for water. not worth the headache.

Horrible service! I started delivery with a Costco deal, and I have had nothing but headaches. In one year, they never adhered to their delivery schedule. I only got water delivered once a month on random days. The number of gallons would vary as well as the bill which should have been fixed. I was very disappointed and disgusted. The customer service is pathetic as well.

We ordered water from this company which also goes by the name DS WATERS. From the start, it has been a mess. They did all of this:
1) Put things on the bill that we didn“t order and never received.
2) Wasted a ton of my time listening to muzak on hold to get wrong charges removed.
3) Failed to remove wong charges and waste my time again and again.
We decided not to order anything else until wrong charges were removed. We were assured by the delivery person that the charges had been removed and we just had to «wait for the account to be updated».
The charges did not get taken off and these jokers actually sent a $ 16 account that i do not owe to COLLECTIONS!!!
I am writing this as i am talking to the representative who is saying she «doesn’t understand why this happened».
Just what i needed in the middle of a busy workday!
