Well what can I say about Surplus Radios nothing bad to say about the guys and ladies at Surplus Two Way Radios in Santa Ana, California. I have done business with Ozzie at Surplus Two Way Radios for the past year now and he has helped me get the right programming software & firmware, radios, microphones, programming cables and etc for my Icom F4261DTUHF handheld radio & Icom F6061DUHF mobile radio that I have enjoyed. Ozzie is a nice guy and friendly he answers emails when he’s available at the office or if not he will answer your email or phone call back the next following day. The technicians always have been on the ball when sending me programming software/firmware updates for both of my radios when there is a newer update for programming and firmware for any radio of mine which is a big plus now days to keep my radios up to date. They have many different types of radios such as Motorola, Icom, Blackbox, Hytera, Kenwood, Vertex also they have repeaters, accessories, antennas and batteries for everyday needs for Commerical, Amateur Radio or etc. Also here is a big plus they are ham friendly! They do business with Amateur Radio Operators/HAM FRIENDLY!!! Which some people call it as. If your looking or seeking a new radio for Commercial, Business or Amateur Radio use check out Surplus Two Way Radios in Santa Ana, California they have many radio manufacturers to choose from in the market today for radio use. If you have a question about a certain radio please send them an email they will respond back quickly as soon as they can normally 30 mins or less depends how busy they are in the office. I have owned the Icom F4261DT with the Icom HM-184H remote speaker microphone that I bought from them awhile back and no problems whats so ever and same with my Icom F6061D with the HM-148 handheld microphone and it works really well in the month i have own. I also bought a Tram UHF4.5db mobile antenna and no problems with that as well.
