VERY GOOD PRODUCT AND SERVICE!
I bought the hood from Xtremeair and just installed in my kitchen. My wife and I are very happy with the hood. I also want to give 5 stars on the service at the store. Sale-​man was very nice and helpful.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE.

I came there and spoke with Ronald (Great Guy). He gave me a quote on a machine for $ 557 out of the door. He even wrote it down for me. However, I did not purchase it right away because I needed to make sure that the hood fits in my custom kitchen. So I told Ronald that I will come back once I get a confirmation from my Contractor. Ronald said that it’s okay and the price he wrote down is good when I come back.
The next day I was busy, but my wife went with the written quote and here is the problem. Ronald was not there, another Vietnamese Salesman greeted her and gave her a price of $ 590 no less. She then showed him the quote from Ronald but he said he would not honor it. She asked another Salesman (another Vietnamese guy) and he too would not honor the quote. Even though they both agreed that it was Ronald’s hand writing but they still would not honor it. She asked to speak to the manager or the owner but they said they were not there.
She has to wait for Ronald and when Ronald came in he gave us the deal that he gave us yesterday. No hassle. What is up with these Vietnamese Salesman. She bought the hood. But She had to argue and wasted her time for them to honor their quote.
My kitchen is almost done. We just need this Range hood and we like XtremeAir Range hood. If I had the time or the options I would have told my wife to just leave. But we have no choice.
Mind you, I am Vietnamese, but Ronald is the one you should do business with and make sure if they quote you a price talk to a manager or the owner to get the ok.

This place will rip you off harder than a greedy car salesman.
So, my husband and I are renovating our house so we came to look for an xtremeair range hood as we saw it advertised on the vietnamese channels.
We looked on their website and found a range hood that we were interested in. Price was reasonable so we came in with the mindset of purchasing a new range hood. The salesman showed us the same model we saw online, we saw a sticker that says 20% off. Naturally I ask him if this range hood is on sale. He states the price is already with the 20% off. Ok. We told him that the price thats listed in store is $ 650 and their website is only listed at $ 571. The guy hesitantly response with «well, online charges tax on top of the listed price, in our store we list our prices with tax included, but I’ll give you $ 20 off so $ 630». Ummmmm. ok? I had a gut feeling something isnt right. We walk around looking at sinks and faucets and decided we’re gonna think about buying the range hood instead of making an impulsive purchase.
The next day, I start doing some research online on the rangehood model we saw the day before. I see Sears, Wayfair,
(their website) selling the same model for $ 571 NO TAX and free shipping. I call the store to tell them that these websites are selling the range hood for $ 571 flat and no extra fees. The guy on the phone says he can price match so my husband and i went back into the store to make the purchase. A different sales guy greeted us and we told him we just called about price matching the range hood. He says «we can price match buy ill have to charge you tax». Wtf? Its the same thing! He comes up with the defense of these websites aren’t in California so they don’t charge tax. Do he think I’m dumb? If you want to charge customers extra so you can make a bigger profit by all means do so. But do not try to lie to me like I’m the dumb one. You, sir, are the one that looks like an idiot.
Its a $ 60 difference, I’m not gonna nickel and dime everything but its the principle of how this place is running their business and tricking their customer into paying higher prices than they should. Its crap. I don’t think this place is direct from xtremeair and have a feeling that they’re selling as 3^rd party.
Save your time save your wallets.
This is a review that is solely for the wackass customer service and not the product. I will be getting my xtremeair range hood else where.

Haven’t bought the hood yet because kitchen is not ready yet.
Fantastic customer service with NO. and I mean no sales pressure.
Great designs for all needs and unbeatable pricing.

My in-​laws who are building a new home came to visit from Florida and wanted to go shopping and see some range hoods. This place sells only one brand — Extreme Air — but 15 minutes later they came out and have one being shipped to the Sunshine State. They got a really awesome hood with LED controls, stainless steel, and man, this thing really sucks. Like, as in it’s super powerful. They also got a tax free discount, an additional 10% off (total of 30% off BTW), and free shipping.
Note this place shares the same building as MC Cabinet Company but is in the front.
