if this is the place inside the food court of Main Place Mall … it’s been CLOSED! I didn’t think it was ever going to succeed. They always had a young lookin’ girl(who should’ve been in high school) trying to entice people to take free samples. I’ve never tried it. The«one star» is more of a note of saying it’s been closed!

I’ve been to my fair share of dodgy Pinkberry knockoffs over the past couple years, but this place is hands down the worst. Where do I begin? For starters, their fruit toppings looked like they had been laying out for days… I usually like mango with my yogurt but their mangoes looked like globules of dark orange sludge. Regrettably I opted for the strawberries, whose flavor and texture I can only describe as slimy disgusting mush. Seriously… is it too much to ask for fruit that doesn’t look like some kind of petri dish science experiment? As for the yogurt itself, it had an extremely icy consistency bordering on watery. It seemed like it was already melting and runny by the time I got to the food court escalator. In all honesty, I am not very hard to satisfy when it comes to froyo, but I had to dump my Yogurberry in the trash after just a few bites. This place is straight up nasty, folks.

NOTWORTH it. The yogurt is not a good rip off of pinkberry like at other places such as yogurtland and cherry on top. In addition they do not even fill up your cup, they leaves lots of space EMPTY and charge you Mall prices. Never again.

I usually don’t throw away frozen yogurt. Even if it’s just«okay,» I usually make an attempt to finish it. However, I tossed out my Yogurberry yogurt after several bites, despite the warm weather. This yogurt is super tart. In fact, it’s just straight up sour, like someone poured lemon juice and vinegar into it. YUCK! Now, I’m not one of those people who like non-tart yogurt. I genuinely like the tartiness of yogurt, but this place is something else. With my first bite, my cheeks just puckered up. It was also quite icy, so between the sour and the cold, it was majorly yucky. Another strange thing is that they charge more for flavored yogurts, such as peach, raspberry and strawberry. For a small or a medium, it’s a dollar more than the same size in the plain tart flavor. For the large, it’s $ 2.00 more than the large plain. That’s the only yogurt place I’ve ever been to that does that. Toppings are an extra $ 0.95 each for a size small. They do have a greater variety of fruit toppings here though, including lychee(canned, I’m guessing) and papaya. However, they’re not particularly generous with the toppings(compared to other non-self-serve places like Pinkberry). Regardless, the papaya didn’t seem very fresh. Service is efficient, though non particularly gregarious. They also don’t give you very much yogurt. I paid $ 3.50 and tax and for that price, I get more at Pinkberry. I would skip this place for frozen yogurt. No wonder I didn’t see anyone else ordering from here. And now that it’s an hour later, I don’t feel so good. Maybe I’m getting an ulcer from the sour-ness. Or maybe e. coli from the unfresh fruit.

The infamous Yogurberry has infiltrated the Main Place Mall. Since the prices and setup are about the same as any other Yogurberry I’ve seen, I’ll just state what I’ve said before: I’m torn between giving it three or four stars. They’re so cheap with the portions but the selection is awesome. Anyway, they’ll get 3 stars for their completely atrocious name. Yogurtberry… wait no… Yogurberry??! Was it so hard to put that extra ‘T’ in there? Also, their sign is deceptive because that ‘b’ really looks like it could be a ‘T’ what with the stems and crap coming off of it. Choices: Yogurberry offers the same fruit topping choices as you’ll see elsewhere(kiwi, mango, strawberry, etc.) and has five choices of yogurt flavor(blackberry, strawberry, green tea, coconut, and plain). Getting yogurt with cherries( ), a topping I’ve never seen at another yogurt shop, had its ups and downs. They give you fresh cherries, but they run out frequently and fresh cherries are kind of a pain to eat considering the pits. I’m fairly sure they use fresh fruits to make the yogurt itself since I found some seeds in the blackberry flavor. The strawberry really tastes like strawberry unlike other places which have flavors that simply taste sweet and probably add food coloring to make it look flavored. They also have smoothies called ‘resets’ for some reason. Price: A plain small is $ 2.50 and when they say small they mean it. The cup is about ¾ths the size of a standard cup at somewhere like Red Mango or Snowberry. I think it might also be smaller than Pinkberry’s small, but I can’t remember. Each topping costs $ 0.95 and the prices increment by a dollar as you go higher. The green tea and newer flavors are offered at a dollar higher than the plain. I paid $ 2.50 for a small blackberry and noticed a large hole in the middle of my swirl. Pffft. The cup is already small! Do you want me to just give you the entire contents of my wallet, Yogurberry?! Décor: The walls are excessively pink and the furniture is plastic just like Pinkberry. Since this is a shop in the mall food court it is understandably small with limited seating inside the store. Synopsis: If you’re in the Main Place Mall and have a sudden craving for Korean yogurt this is pretty much your only option.
