76 Self Serve Gasoline

This place is a joke. We just came in here on or way back from Santa Barbara for gas and some snacks. My bf needed to use the restroom and the guy said someone locked the key in there. We asked to use the women’s restroom and for the key. He would not give it to us. He said «I know what you guys are going to do in there.»
The worst service ever. Especially for a paying customer. I felt like he thought we were going to do drugs or have sex. Disgusting. We asked for his managers number and he would not give it to us. We did nothing to deserve such treatment and discrimination.

Easy access and helpful staff. Way way better than the sh*tshow across the street!
Pro Tip: Habit is right there, you can literally drive right into the parking lot after you fill up.

The gas isn’t cheap but the mini-​mart is great. They have a large display of lunch foods ranging from eggs to a decent variety of sandwiches. If you need pastries or a quick breakfast on the road this is your spot. More than once I’ve grabbed a reasonable breakfast, flavored coffee and my LA Times on the way to my commuter train. They also have a few different papers but you do need to catch them early. I’ve had them sold out of the Times by eight a.m.
Its not in the best neighborhood but if you are looking for an alternative to 7 – 11 this is the place.

Lamest gas station ever. Signs on the restroom doors that say under construction, but there is no construction happening. Soda fountain doesn’t work. They need to get it together!
