Alternative Digital Printing

Alternative Digital Printing is the BEST copy/​printing company in Santa Barbara in my personal experience. Writing a review for a printing company is not very sexy or glamorous, but there are more important things than glitter and gold, like excellent customer service, quality work and competitive prices; all of which ADP delivers on consistently!
I’ve been using ADP intermittently for years for printing associated with a non-​profit that I run and they have always been trustworthy and reliable.
Within the last week, I was allured by the close proximity to my office, of a huge chain office supply store to do my printing, and they completely botched the job, leaving me in a mega lurch. With only an hour before I needed the finished product in my hand, I called ADP and spoke with the manager, Marc. I explained my problem, what I needed (40 copies of a document on 3 color carbon copy paper glued) and the one hour deadline. He responded with an assuring, calm confidence that they could take the job and get it to me on time. I scanned the document needed right away and headed to ADP about 50 minutes later; a few minutes earlier than expected. They were putting the finishing touches on my order and were gracious enough to deliver it to me at the University Club of Santa Barbara where the event that I needed the printing job for was being held, at no additional charge. I insisted on being charged more for this as it was a huge convenience and really went above and beyond.
I will only go local when it comes to printing and Alternative Digital Printing will remain my go to! I do wish that they were located a little closer to lower State Street but a few blocks up the road is worth the trip for quality that I can trust.
I highly recommend ADP and Marc. You can submit your documents/​requests conveniently online and pick them up when they are ready. The process could not be more efficient and streamlined. ADP is a real ace! Add them to your list of business resources and remember that everything that glitters in those shiny, big chains isn’t gold. Go local!

And I appreciate it so much! I used to go to the Alternative in IV when I was at UCSB and starting using this location a couple months ago. The printing is great quality and the service is the BEST I’ve ever had at a copy shop.
Most notably the past two weeks I’ve been applying for a job and my printer went kaput. Each time I have uploaded to their website and called with a half hour to spare! They have followed my instructions that I type in (100% cotton, color ink, resume quality) every single time exactly without me needing to say anything over the phone. And then they’re very friendly too!
I wouldn’t recommend waiting to the last minute like me, but I appreciate that they have been able to accommodate my needs.
All I can say is when I have my society-​changing, money-​making company up and running they will be doing all the print and copy things I need! I appreciate you guys so much!
