I was so surprised to hear the last review. I had a completely different experience with dr Campbell and his staff. I just had surgery by dr cambell last week and from the very begging I have had nothing but caring attention and appropriate scans and treatment plans. He right away ordered an mri and on the next visit he did standing X-rays. Let’s talk about his bedside manner. I am an extremely nervous patient I worry about all things with my health and every time I saw him he reassured me and spend lots of time going over what to expect. The day of the surgery he came in right when he got there to check in with me and let me know it was going to be fine. I was impressed it was not rushed and he even then went over the procedure. After the procedure he gave me his cell number which I did need to call the first day and he was caring and helpful. Saw him Tuesday he changed the dressing and I was actually quite impressed how good it looked. I’m not going to lie it is the most painful thing ever but he is great at helping support his patients and give them what they need to feel better. I have not felt through this whole process that dr cambell did anything but help me. He did not try to sell me anything. Oh I also wanted to comment that dr Campbell is young and he talks like a peer not an older doctor with an ego. I like that because he does not tell you how you should feel he listens and knows what he is doing! Anyways can’t say enough about him or his office staff. They are all really wonderful. It is up to individuals to make a decision about their health, but definitely check him out you will not be disappointed. Good luck with your search.

I am so grateful for Dr. Campbell! He is an amazing surgeon and podiatrist. He is very knowledgable, skilled, thorough, and patient. His warm, friendly demeanor always keeps me calm(which is amazing for someone who gets as anxious as I do)! During my first appointment, he thoroughly explained my diagnosis(bunions) and discussed conservative and surgical treatment options with me. I had already tried most of the conservative options, so my last non-surgical option was to use prescribed orthotics. Unfortunately, due to the fact that I already had severe bunions at 21, surgical intervention would likely be inevitable. Orthotics would just slow the progression of and ease the pain of my bunions. I appreciated that he provided me with information about all of my options without pressuring me into any of them. Because I was already in excruciating, throbbing pain 24⁄7 — even with the orthotics(and throwing away my embarrassingly large collection of flip-flops), I decided to get surgery. He made sure that I was prepared and well-informed, did a phenomenal job on the surgery, and is currently ensuring my recovery is comfortable and successful. One of his fantastic qualities is that he ensures the wellbeing and comfort of his patients from the first appointment indefinitely. I got a Lapidus Bunionectomy. He used 2 screws to hold the bones together, and he used a titanium plate(fixated by 5 screws) for stability. The UFAI also utilizes some modern techniques that help with the healing(such as using a stem cell concentrate, made from my bone marrow, at the fusion site). In addition to general anesthesia, they also used a nerve block that prevented me from feeling any pain for a day! Dr. Campbell did an amazing job. I am eternally grateful already, and my foot will only keep feeling and looking better! It looks absolutely fantastic and beautiful! And the pain is only 5% of what I expected. Right now, I am 3 weeks post-op, and my foot hurts significantly less than it did BEFORE the surgery! I plan to get the same surgery on my other foot when this foot is completely healed. A note for anyone who is deciding between a podiatric surgeon or orthopedic surgeon for a foot surgery: I ultimately decided that I wanted a surgeon that is an expert on feet — rather than a surgeon that focuses on the entire musculoskeletal system — to operate on my feet. Of course, Dr. Campbell being so fantastic made that decision easy! Update(10/31/2015): I am 3 months post-op and my foot is fantastic! I have been able to walk normally and painlessly(in my supportive running shoes with my custom orthotics) and Birkenstocks since week 7! I have minimal scarring, and the scars still continue to fade. I am 100% pleased and impressed at how smoothly and successfully this surgery went. I have scheduled the surgery for my left foot! Update(12/21/2015): 10 days ago, Dr. Campbell performed a lapidus bunionectomy on my left foot and bilateral akin osteotomies. Both feet are absolutely perfect. He has proven again to be a top-notch surgeon and has continued to be an excellent doctor! He sincerely listens to any questions or concerns I have, and he calmly, thoroughly, and immediately addresses them. I would never let any other doctor work on my feet(especially now that they are so perfect)! I am immensely and eternally grateful that Dr. Campbell has given me the gift of painless and effortless mobility, in addition to making my feet beautiful(and that wasn’t even a major concern of mine)! In June 2015, I went into his office seeking relief of the pain caused by my bunions — never having considered that there was even a possibility of permanently fixing them. But, now, I have perfect feet! Thank you, Dr. Campbell!
