Came here for lunch and had a great experience. Customer service was good and food was even better. We got sopes and chorizo tacos

I’ve been here a few times and they are consistently PERFECT! Great selection to choose from, fantastically prepared food, attentive hostesses, well priced and a nice open atmosphere. The only thing missing was some background music! I will be back to try out more items in the future!

Never order the Posole! It tasted like chile water and it had no meat only nerve. It was a to-go order and I was told as I was paying that my order was the last of the posole and it had very little meat and he was going to give me a discount. Well I did get a discount and i didn’t get any meat! It was bone, fat and nerve with tons of hominy but the broth had absolutely no flavor; it just tasted like hot water mixed with red chile. If I was worried about a return customer, I wouldn’t have sold what they sold me, that would have been thrown out! I will continue to «Rave» about their shrimp cocktail and ceviche and will stick to ordering that when I decide to go back.

Old school Mexican restaurant – modest yet homey. The seafood is authentic, delicious and(by far) the best-priced in SB! Hovering staff are gracious, efficient and friendly. Both the staff and the ambiance make for a ‘home away from home’ feel, if you’re Latina/o. ¡Muy bien!

My food was all right, staff was super nice. But the sink in the restroom was busted, a note pointing to a empty dirty pump of hand sanitizer was disheartening. Especially when you see it in a busy restaurant after you have eaten, where are the staff washing their hands? If there doing it in the kitchen after they use the restroom, thats gross.

Best micheladas in town! I really enjoy the agua chiles, mojarafrita, oysters, caldos, i come here at least once every two months and its consistently good fresh food. Quick service, great staff and fair pricing. Lots to choose from(menu) i really only come here for the micheladas! Lol… Great Restaurant, parking can be challenging but its worth the walk

Cesars Place is a must if you’re around the eastside. Since i’ve recently remembered my Unilocal password i’m going to review this place now even though I’ve eaten here to many times to remember. I know there is Los Agaves and Super Rica right down the road but thats hype! This is comfort mexicans food. The Aquachiles! So Good! to quote Friday«Taste so good make you wanna slap your momma.» Sorry mom. To those that don’t know its raw shrimp that are marinated/cooked in a green chile, with red onions and cucumbers. 5 star. The ceviche: I have to say best in town! Really fresh and its a huge plate that you can definitely share! 5 star Must have item: Michelada! Which is like a mexican bloody mary except beer instead of vodka. I would rate this place 5 star but its average service and some of the menu items are average. Still a must try

Love this place. Low pro one of the best spots on Milpas! Authentic food and vibes! Adobada tacos are so legit! Seafood is also amazing! Lots of good dishes. Place needs no hype!

First, come here with patience as the service tends to be very slow! Our waitress was ok at first but then she disappeared on us and I had to flag another waitress down. Maybe ours went on break or something but it was very rude to not be tended to! Aside from the horrible service here if you’re looking to try something different away from all the other Mexican cuisine hot spots in town then give this place a try. This place is mostly known for their huge seafood cocktails, ceviche, and micheladas. I highly recommend the ceviche! You can order it several ways. They offer shrimp, fish, octopus, or a combo. My favorite is the fish or shrimp! Ask for tostadas on the side so it doesn’t get soggy sitting underneath the ceviche. Add some tapatio and lime and you’ll be in heaven. I haven’t tried the shrimp cocktail but my cousin raves about it. I wanted to order something different this time so I opted for the Chile Colorado. This dish was flavorful but the meat was too dry! It tasted like the pork had been sitting around for awhile. I couldn’t even eat more than a few bites. I would have sent it back if we hadn’t been left high and dry for so long without service! So I finally ordered the fish ceviche to go once our waitress came back from her break. Micheladas — They are delicious but a little too salty for my taste. They overdue it with the salted rim so if you’re on a low sodium diet then ask for no salt on the rim! The color is darker than most places. But it is flavorful. Money Saving Tip — Do Not purchase any bootleg movies or CDs here! You might see a guy walking around trying to sell them to you but save your money and pass on that! Overall this place has great food if you know what to order. Give it a shot at least one time!

Food was good overall however, the service wasn’t all that. I’ve experienced better service, i would go here again but not at the top of my list.

We stopped there on our 2 mile walk from home to the Aerosmith concert at the Bowl. Los Arroyos was packed so we continued and found Cesar’s. Really good food here. I had a hardshell taco and an enchilada. Salsas are really good. Prices were very reasonable. We will return

I used to really love this place, but my last visit here will not have me returning. My husband ordered a tostada and chile verde plate. I ordered the taco and pulpo cocktail. We recieved out food minus the chile verde. Taco was good but my pulpo cocktail looked like someone chewed it up and spit it out. My hubby was waiting on the chile verde never came. It wasn’t a big deal because he was already full from the tostada. We just assumed the waitress forget to put in the order, so when we got our check we were surprised that the chile verde was on there. No biggie we told the waitress, to our surprise she said we did recieve the chile verde. She pointed to the tostada. No sorry that is NOT chile verde. It didn’t even have chile verde in it, it was carne asada. Then she pointed to the empty box. Really!!!, at this point I’m becoming frustrated as I open the box to show he it was empty. She’s the one who brought the box out for our left overs. She the proceded to point to the 3 jalapeños that were on a plate. No sorry that isn’t chile verde either. She then told us she will remove it from our tab. She came back and told us that the jalapeños is the chile verde. Really??? Are you fucking kidding me??? 3 jalapeños for $ 8.00 and she’s insisting this is chile verde. She knows damn well that the 3 measley jalapeños sitting on a plate are NOT chile verde. So instead of arguing to here about it(which I already had been) we decided to PAYTHE $ 8 for the 3 jalapeños on the plate. The waitress was rude about the whole situation. So I will never be returning here ever. I will let everyone know not to as well. P.s why does the bathroom constantly smell like shit here. Light a damn candle or something. The nasty smell permeating out of the dungeon of a bathroom is not appetizing while I’m eating my overpriced mediocre Mexican food. Xoxo

Visited this restaurant on a busy Saturday night. There was a large party and most tables busy, so we had to sit near the register which wasn’t the best seat, but we were too hungry to wait for another to open. We were seated and given chips and average tasting salsa verde and roja. The girlfriend is a fan of the michelada and says it’s the best in town. The food arrived about 40 minutes after ordering, definitely too much of a wait for two plates. The food itself deserves 5 stars. I had the fish special and I was very happy with my choice. The staff was very courteous and polite, but could definitely add more employees to make the experience more time efficient.

Excellent service. The people there know how to take care of their customers and they enjoy doing it. The food was great and they had a great selection of Seafood and authentic mexican style dishes. The michelladas were the BOMB! Ice cold and served quickly! Great place for some good mexican seafood.

There’s nothing better than a sunny, warm day in Santa Barbara except when you have to stand in line just to get in the door of a restaurant. Today, was one of those days. Four places I checked out were just not worth the wait so I found Cesar’s Place. No lines here so did that mean the food wasn’t any good? Oh, no. My very hungry stomach was grateful for a delicious plate of fish tacos. My wallet was happy for the more than reasonable price. I’ll be back.
