What a gem. Located in Chase Palm Park — love this antique carousel. Reminds me of my childhood. Just a few bucks for a ride, which lasted at least 5 minutes. Great deal for a little bit of nostalgia.

Love this simple carousel. It’s so cute. The ride is cash only though, so don’t forget! The ride itself is nice and long. I was getting a bit dizzy actually at the end! Hahaha. I like that there is history here too.

I give this place 5-​stars because it does the trick every time. If I’m in the area and my daughter is with me, it’s a guaranteed stopping place for us.
My daughter leaves here happy and satisfied every time we come. We usually ride twice. You can’t beat this type of entertainment, and it’s a really cool spot.
Are there homeless people in the adjacent park sometimes? Yeah, but they’ve never bothered us.

Beautiful park across the street from the beach.
Highlights:
— Carousel: built in 1916 with paintings all around the top edges, it’s a nice ride for the kids. $ 2 for a decent length of a ride. The attendant was really friendly giving my kid a high five.
— Playground: multiple boat themed play structures as well as some sea creature formations on the ground. Also a mission-​like area in the back complete with a yellow arch where you can ding the bell
— Ponds: nice bodies of water with a few koi fish and mini waterfalls
— Grass: large area with a small hill to run around
Lowlights:
— No parking: have to park at the general pay lot across the street
Loved this beautiful fun park and will be back

Cute place, only $ 2 and the ride lasts for like 5 minutes! You definitely get the old school feel for the carousel. Not too far from the pier… it’s a good 10 minute walk.

Anyone who either lives in Santa Barbara or is just visiting has definitely spotted this carousel, located in the small yet pretty Chase Palm Park, across from Sterns Wharf.
Lucky for us, it’s in operation. Well maintained. Little to no line. & quite the lengthy ride (5 minutes).
Cash only, $ 2 well spent.
Perfect for kids or kids at heart.

We stopped here after going to the visitors center right across the street. It gave the kids a break from a long road trip. The employee that was there was not enthusiastic at all. Seem like he hated his job, maybe just a bad day.

Downingtown, PA
Love Concert In The Park on Thursdays in the summertime. Great fun for friends and family to all enjoy right near the beach and Sterns Wharf. Very clean, can bring food to have a picnic on a blanket while watching bands entertain and people dancing the night away. Very fun little playground for children as well.

The park has a little of everything: green open space, a shipwrecked themed playground, a carousel and a small garden/​walking path. Conveniently located across the street from the beach and Stern Wharf.

Beautiful antique carousel set in a gorgeous park with an amazing view. This park has a really fun shipwreck-​themed play structure that my kid’s could spend all day playing on if we had the time. Nice clean bathrooms available too.
