Awesome space and great wine! No disappointment here. Definitely a good place to visit if you have a larger group since the tasting room is probably the largest in the Funk Zone!

Great wine, great ambiance. Love the casual, artsy vibe of this unique wine tasting room. The 2012 Tierra Alta Vineyard Syrah is bomb. There’s an original Model T and cornhole. Yes to Fox, in all ways!

Found this little gem on our way out. Such a cute warehouse artsy place with a cool vibe. My fiancé and I did a wine tasting and had a great time talking and relaxing. Defiantly coming back and bringing a group of our friends.

Great atmosphere and service. The corn hole was good form of entertainment. We had a chance to try the reserve and the standard wine selection. The reserve is excellent.

Great wine, great atmosphere. David helped our group of friends out with some tastings and we had a great time. There are a ton of tasting rooms in the area, thankfully we found this one!

By far some of the best wine I’ve tasted in Santa Barbara, and a great space to boot. Awesome, chill staff(ask for David!) and a beautiful, funky space to enjoy your wine. It’s a bit off the beaten funk zone path but well worth the walk! Don’t get lost among the myriad of funk zone wineries, just head to Fox(hint: it will be less crowded!)

Written on behalf of my friend who’s phone is dead(boo iPhone 4!). This is my first time wine tasting and it was so great! All of the wines in the standard wine tasting flight were very enjoyable! Can’t wait to come back and try their reserve flight!

This was by far my favorite place within the funk zone. Amazing wines, loved the band, the guy pouring our wine was awesome. Could not complain. The place is HUGE also! Loved the setup.

Would be a great place to have a wedding but fox winery makes it pretty impossible by over charging everything. It’s too bad. Otherwise a great space. Wine is ok

Fox Winery is definitely a great space to drink wine and chill out. It’s a little off the beaten path but worth it! David was incredibly nice and easy to talk with. Came here for the wine tasting and would recommend the reserve wines. Would come again for sure!

This place is awesome!!! Not your run of the mill winery. It reminds me more of a space a brewery would be in. But the wine is amazing! The staff is great and very friendly! If you are in the area and a Don’t stop, your loss! This was a detour off the freeway I will make every time I’m in the area.

Dig the Pinot Noir here! And David is a hoot. The space is so chill and big. I want to have a party here. It has a real chill vibe, a nice break from the insanity of the urban wine trail. My second favorite was the Sauvignon Blanc.

Fox was awesome. David was really chill and knowledgable on the wines. It seemed to be a close knit company. The location was great, off the main drag so it’s not overly busy. Live music with some great local girls with amazing voices«the brambles». I am in love with the décor inside, I could live there. I would definitely go back!

Super big space, cool art, great service, good vino– great spot for big group! Play corn hole and enjoy. Come one come all, in the funk zone… a step away, but all in. We need a fan in here though– this group is hot!

I LOVEEEE this place! It is my #1 spot in the Funk Zone. It is off the beaten path and a hidden gem. No lines and you can actually have a conversation with your best friend without shouting. The wine is absolutely delicious; you can’t go wrong with either the standard or reserve tastings. My faves are the Sauv Blanc and the Syrah. You truly will not be disappointed! Plus, the people that work there are so friendly, Dave is the best!, the games are fun, and the seating is spacious and comfy. They even have live music every month. Cheers to the best wine in SB!

My first time to Fox Wine, at last Blair Fox is in my neighborhood! Since I love Blair Fox in Los Olivos, I knew this would be good and it was — Sarah ROCKS, the wines were fun/yummy, and Sarah was so friendly and accommodating when sis, I and a friend got into a heated and engaging debate and lost track of time. We had a great time, the space is enormous with interesting art on the walls, and we left with a bottle of cab. I disagree with whomever called this place«steep.» The wine is a notch above many of the other wineries in the Funk Zone(that shall remain nameless) and well worth a couple of extra dollars for tastes. I highly recommend Fox Wine Co as a mandatory stop when you’re tasting in the Funk Zone! 5 stars for Funk Zone winery!

Fox Wine Co. was started by Santa Barbara natives, Sarah and Blair Fox. The wines are made entirely by hand, minimally handled & processed, which I found quite interesting. Selections include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and other red blends. A wine tasting is offered at their location inside the Santa Barbara Art Foundry & Gallery, where they offer 5 different tastings for $ 10(a little steep). You can sip while walking around the art gallery, which I thought was a great set-up. The wine themselves were a little disappointing, and both my mama and my sister were not fans. The samples also were very small in pours — it would have been nice if there were some bites, such as cheeses and fruits to pair each tasting with. +5 wine samplings for $ 10 +located inside the Santa Barbara Art Foundry & Gallery
