I recently met «Caitlin Benson» on a home inspection for first time buyers, as Real Estate Inspector of seventeen years; I was quite impressed with her integrity and client first attitude.
It was really nice to have have a agent truly encourage me to take my time and do a thorough inspection. I was all also impressed in her in dealings with her client’s. Caitlin was up front with them with my findings and stated to her clients that if they couldn’t get what they needed in the way of repairs through negotiations this may not be the home for them.

We had a very positive experience from the very beginning with Goodwin & Thyne. We initially listed our home in Santa Barbara with a «boutique» agency. We found that our original agent and broker had only wanted the listing and provided no representation for us as the seller. We ended up taking our home off the market and were very skeptical about the real estate market in Santa Barbara. We met with John and Olesya after having our home off the market for awhile. The experience was a complete 180 from what we had experienced. Olesya took ownership of our sale. From the very beginning she represented us and presented our home at its best.
I have to say that after removing our home from the market, we were initially contacted by several realtors in Santa Barbara that wanted the listing. We were «warned» that going with a «discount» broker would not give us the exposure that we needed. Do not be fooled by these misrepresentations. Goodwin Thyne is in no way a «discount» brokerage. Their international and local exposure, their attention to detail and their general interest in us as their client exceeded any and all of our expectations.

Caitlin could not have done more for us in helping us find our special home here in Santa Barbara. She is extremely knowledgeable, honest, friendly, and hard working.
