What a great place to find children’s clothes for great prices. It’s a friendly place filled from wall to wall with beautiful lightly used clothing. The owner is super nice and helpful as well.

A place where folks can go to recycle baby and maternity clothes and items is a great idea for a store! Found a lot of useful items here– All excellent used quality. Staff is very nice. Can’t really go looking for a specific item and expect to find it as product based on what parents give/​sell to store– But I seem to always find useful items! FYI– additional parking is in back.

Love this place! I am new to the Mission area so I just went a week ago but have been hearing about this place since I became pregnant. I only spoke with one owner who is incredibly friendly and helpful (short brown hair but I forget her name!) Very kid friendly place, I did not feel like my crazy toddler was inconveniencing anyone which can sometimes happen even in children’s stores… I consigned a few of my maternity pieces instead of putting them on craigslist & traded in some of my son’s cute clothes for credit and ended up only spending $ 5 on a shopping seat cover which is usually $ 50! Myself and my family are now regulars. Definitely check this place out!!!
**One negative, parking is terrible and terrifying. I park in Trader Joes and walk down!

This is the only used children’s clothing store that I go to. The prices are completely reasonable. The two ladies who own the place are friendly and helpful. You can sell used kid’s clothes and receive store credit. You can also consign baby gears and maternity wears. Its also very casual, you are not required to set up an appointment like Sweet Pineapple and Peanuts since the owners work right there in the shop. This tiny shop is quite popular with the locals and it is packed with people every time I visited, which means their merchandizes change quickly with lots of buyers and sellers.

I love Happy Little Hippo! It is so much fun to bring in some of my daughter’s gently used items and get to leave with new (gently used) things for her without spending any money! I love their drop-​in buy back day on Saturday (they do it on Wednesdays too) because I can show up without an appointment and usually I don’t have to wait long for someone to look at my items. They also have a great selection of items including maternity clothes and lots of gear for kids! Love this place!
