This is my favorite coffee shop in Santa Barbara. The breakfast burrito with green salsa is fantastic — made from scratch with Shalhoob’s bacon. Also their homemade chai is the best in town, also made from scratch with love! Delicious fresh squeezed beet/green juice and orange juice, and home made berry scones. Comfy couches and a good all around vibe.

Great coffee and delicious pastries! We’ve been coming here for years and love their coffee and food. Their avocado toast is a must try, so simple yet delicious. I hope that one day they will update their décor and will replace the plastic tables and chairs with something nicer.

My new favorite go to café. The atmosphere is inviting, and there is even a fire place! The café latte is perfect too! It truly is local. I must have passed by several times without realizing what an amazing place it is to get some work done or even meet a friend.

I absolutely adore this place! Java Station is a perfect little coffee shop to study/do work on a Sunday morning(or any morning). They have great selections of coffee and it always tastes great. The staff is very accommodating and will help you with your choices if you are unhappy or didn’t like what you ordered. Their avocado toast with tomato and lemon pepper is the perfect snack. There’s great music and friendly people who come and meet up with friends. I try to make a stop here at least every two weeks to get some me-time and some work done! Mostly locals hang out here, and the atmosphere is great!

Love hanging out/studying at this place. Their iced coffees are great and pretty strong … don’t even need sweetener because the coffee is so aromatic. Their bagels with lemon pepper are the best!!! So addictive. Love the atmosphere and couches. Def my current favorite café in Goleta.

I’m really on the rocks about this coffee shop and that kills me because coffee is a huge part of my life. I habitually frequent the coffee shops around town and I have always liked this one. But I cannot ignore my latest trip there. I asked the barista what kind of muffin was in the pastry case and they PICKEDITUPFROMTHETOPWITHTHEIRHAND. *Cringe* I’ll give the barista the benefit of the doubt– maybe they just finished washing their hands. But come on now, they should’ve learned from there SafeServe certification test, you don’t touch food directly with your hands! I will say this place does have plenty of seating inside and outside. And parking is never a problem. Next time I think I’ll just stick to my americano. :/

Haven’t been here for awhile. Was there working this morning. Pretty good breakfast burrito and also mocha. Service seems to be a lot better this morning than my past morning, couple of years ago. Keep it up!

I’ve repeatedly tried to be on board with this place, because the vibe is enticing and the food/coffee is all right. However, I have to throw in the towel because the service is always so hideous. They always make me feel as if I’m bothering them whenever I order, and then they take their sweet time and gossip with each other instead of actually making my order. Anyway, I wanted to think highly of this place, especially because it’s the only café near my home. Maybe it needs new management or something along those lines… but the experience is not worth the wait and the money.

I love that I can come in and get easy Internet and great food and coffee. And easy parking too. Chill place for sure.

Such a fun relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for groups getting together for food or coffee. Living room feel.

Now I’m not a math whiz but how does a $ 6 bagel melt and a $ 2 cup of coffee(I had to ask repeatedly for, no less) come to over $ 15, and why won’t anyone make it right? Too much fun socializing behind the counter, perhaps. My last visit.

A nice stop just off the bike path for a treat. My kids bring a game to play in their backpacks and enjoy having an Italian Soda. Finding a seat is tricky and pastry inventory can be low. Not a place to «wine and dine» a client or impress out-of-town guests.

I come back to this place often mostly for venue; their seating is spectacular(if you catch a not-as-busy-hour) since I know there’s comfortable couches if I’m looking to relax with a book and there’s individual desks to sit if I need to work. I’ve been to this place 3 years on and off and have never ever had a better than ok customer service experience here if the owner isn’t manning the register. The baristas are either always unhelpful, arrogant, unprofessional, too busy chatting with regulars, or just too busy chatting with each other. Most of the reviews talk about«friendly» staff here, but maybe I have a drastically different opinion because as a former barista, I know being bubbly is easy(and almost a requirement), but being professional, helpful, and not intimidating is equally as important. But this IS a coffee shop, and in terms of that, it’s honestly pretty good. Food is perfect for mid-meal snacks, sandwiches are customizable, and coffee I’ve ordered has always been made well!

Miss the old atmosphere of this place. Been getting Oreo Mochas here since I was in 4th grade. Can’t say anything bad really, bagels are always fresh. A lot of seating.

I like the outside of the building a lot. It’s rather minimal and welcoming. The inside, and everything from the music to the coffee, is just dull. I ordered a mocha. It’s the most bitter I’ve ever had. The espresso itself is acrid and doesn’t taste like anything above a 70(the determiner for specialty). The body is dull, acidic, and leaves a terrible aftertaste. As for the milk and chocolate that should be in the mocha, I didn’t taste anything. It tasted like a latte — seriously! Rather disappointed with this place. I heard there were two top-notch baristas trained at the Guild, but I experienced something much less impressive.

Like the people working there. If you’re looking for a chill spot with Free Wifi and pretty good food — this is your place. They have good seating — but everyone seemed to be cuddled by the power cords :(. Food– I ordered tomato and avocado on sourdough– the ingredients were pretty fresh. Can’t complain on the spice on the tomatoes either– I think it was lemon pepper. Drinks– lost one star here because the Arnold Palmer was pretty bland. I guess I could have told them but I was pretty distracted by my computer to care at the moment. Don’t judge it by me… It’s a pretty interesting place and you’ve got to experience it :)

This place is great for computer work, quiet inside, nice fireplace, overall good vibe. The people chain smoking off to the side is a turn off. It wafts to the non smokers. As far as ambiance a great coffee house vibe with shade trees. Unfortunately I was charged incorrectly over $ 11 for a basic coffee and bagel. Then the gal handed me cash instead of asking to be sure I didn’t want it back on card. I tried the place again and the guy looked like he wanted to murder me for asking for more ice in my iced drink which had about 3 small floaters right after he made it. Most of the people are nice but the tall scruffy guy needs an attitude adjustment for sure. The owner came behind him with a beaming smile and redeemed the place a bit. With better care and conscious management this could be a fantastic place!

This café is perfect. It is extremely quiet, it has tons of plugs and extra outlets for charging your devices, and it is not that expensive(especially for Santa Barbara). The people behind the counter are very friendly and nice, the food is good, the coffee is good and the clientele here seem very friendly and respectful, too. Plus, this feels removed from the hustle and bustle of campus life, which helps me focus and get work done.
