Pilates reformer sessions with Katie ROCK!
This type of workout is challenging, both in terms of working your muscles and also forcing yourself to pay particular attention to how every inch of your person is aligned, but you will also feel extremely safe in a way you sometimes might not have in yoga classes. The machines kind of nudge and keep you into certain positions, and having an instructor there to watch your every, single move no doubt helps, too. Leaving, you will walk differently — head higher, shoulders pinched back, and much more aware of how engaged and strong you could be in your core. And it lasts. For days after, You’ll catch myself slumping over in the car or at my desk and forcing yourself to contract your abdominals and straighten you spine.
Private sessions can be a bit expensive, so grab a girlfriend or two, or see if there are clients at the studio looking to have a duo or trio session. More then worth the money and time.

One of my clients told me about Lisa at La Playa Pilates and I decided to try it out. I usually get sick of working out pretty quick but I have been taking private sessions with Lisa for 2 weeks now and I love it and I love Lisa! She is so patient, friendly and helpful and she mixes up my routine so Im not bored. I really look forward to working out!!! Crazy!
