This place is dirty. Shady people, overpriced entrance fee. Do not come here. Parking is limited. Bartenders were disorganized and not well informed.

Whole in the wall mexican bar with live bands. Large dance floor. Attentive and friendly staff.$ 15 cover charge. The restrooms were dirty and no seat covers. I wouldn’t recommend mixed drinks the bartender does not seem experience.

Delicious Food, the chef is very nice. Pepe at the bar is a very nice person. The owners are incredible nice. I would strongly recommend this place.

Worst bar of my life. Went in to grab a couple drinks and maybe some food was told that my boyfriend and I need to pay a $ 25 cover each just to sit at the bar?!? Then rude hostess was talking crap about us in Spanish (mind you I am fluent in Spanish) so this place is not worth your time.

I went there for lunch with my boyfriend and an axxess card to check it out. the food was KILLER good. The chef was very upbeat, happy and engaging. He came to check on us at least 3 times to make sure we enjoyed our meal. I have not been there in the evening for dancing or dinner so I cannot comment on that aspect of thier business. the menu they had was not as extensive as the one I saw on menu pics website, but the food was all from scratch, high quality, delicious, and served quickly, with warmth. i will go back.

Visiting the area, I ran into the place while scouting the area on foot from my hotel room. The patrons were friendly and welcoming. Myrna (the Master Mixologist) was friendly, engaging and attentive, as well as pretty funny. A ‘neighborhood place’ I thought it was just my kind of bar. Will return next visit to Santa Barbara!

I didn’t even want to write a review for this place, but Unilocal keeps telling me i’m the duchess so I suppose I will.
2 stars because the only thing we wanted was not available. We settled for fish and chips and were not amused. Their margs are super strong, which pretty much means it was a glass of tequila, and for some, that may be all you ask for, but I ended up giving mine away.
So BLEH, you La Rumba. Bleh, you!
