Marianne is an amazing trainer in so many ways. I met her when she was teaching spin at a local gym and she was known around my workplace as the class to attend to kick your butt with great music and undeniable energy. Since Marianne has moved on to Superior Fitness in SB, she has completely raised the bar to a whole new level. Her semi-personal spin classes are incomparable– loud(good) music, dark room, and high pace… I have burned up to 900 calories in one class! You walk out of her spin classes feeling like a new person… cleansed, if you will. If you haven’t tried a spin class– DOIT… You won’t regret it. Since I started doing her 6am Tues/Thurs circuit classes and spin once to twice a week, I have lost almost 20 pounds! She has taught me to eat better, how to manage my stress(which I used to have a lot of), proper form and how to structure fitness into my busy life. I used to have the worst joint and back pain, but since I started this routine with Marianne in the Spring, I am so much stronger and the pain has gone away! If you want a trainer who is a full package, you should definitely consider Marianne. Her training approach is amazing… she is flexible and extremely knowledgeable about health and fitness. Her spin classes kick ass and her personal training/small group classes are insanely good. I have never felt this good in my life and I owe it all to her… plus Superior Fitness is small(in a good way), personal and has everything you need. HIGHLY recommended :)

I have been working with Marianne for over a year now and she is the best! We first started with working on my knee that had a lot of problems and not only is it so much better she is helping my body strengthen as a whole. I could not be happier with her! She is also an expert on the nutritional aspects of being healthy as well. As a whole Marianne is the entire package! I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!

BESTPERSONALTRAINER in Santa Barbara! Marianne is as good as it gets when it comes to personal training, and she does it all! She’s been working with me on rehabbing my knee, and she’s incredibly knowledgeable about body musculature and how it all ties together. She’s comprehensive with how she works with people, from diet, fitness, to posture, and flexibility. I’ve only been working with her for a short while, but I’m already beginning to see improvements in my knee, and I love it! Not only does she do one on one personal training, but I know she also teaches spin classes and group training. Marianne is friendly, encouraging, and really knows how to get your body in tip top shape! I’m really happy to have been referred to her, and I look forward to training with her every week!
