I’m not a fan of leaving bad reviews and I can’t really knock on this place that much for its food but a bad experience left a sour taste with me and it’s prompted me to write a review. It’s open late and has pretty good food. What irritated me was ordering a burrito and two tamales to go and only getting the burrito. I was charged for everything but only received the burrito with a to go box of some tortilla chips(which I thought were the tamales upon initially checking my bag). Having just left the gym, after an already long day at work, all I wanted to do was get home and eat. It wasn’t until I got home, in Goleta, and opened everything that I realized there was a mistake. I tried calling them just to see if they could make up for it but there was no answer. I’ll probably end up going back here and re doing this review, if they make up for my problem, but for now it’s a 3 star.

Great little spot. I had a carnitas Ranchero burrito, tasty and plentiful. The horchata is great, with crushed pistachios and a cherry on top. Outdoor seating, but a little greasy and dirty tabletops.

Decent little taco place, carne asada nachos were awesome. Food came out a little slow as it was all made fresh. There is seating inside as well. Overall, not bad for a hole in the wall taco place.

Make sure they give you all your change. This place totally stiffed both me and my boyfriend. They blatantly take advantage of people that way. Be warned. Good food though.

Fantastic«street food.» The mole chips you get to start was a nice touch(great mole!) and thank you for understanding that I cannot be trusted with bottomless chips. The California burrito was okay, the nachos locks were amazing. Nice little patio for inhaling your eats.

Yes. Go here. It’s outside seating only — you order at a window and they bring it out. The flautas are legit. & the nachos the bring out are good too!

WORSTSERVICEEVER! The guy Juan that works there is so rude. Here is a list of reasons why I don’t like Romanti-Ezer. I work close by or I would’ve never gone there after the first wrong. 1. I found a hair in my food last time I went there. 2. Every time I go there I get the same thing and the price is different everytime. 3. One time they forgot to put guac, sour cream, salsa, and just about everything else besides cheese on my nachos and when I told them about it when I opened my to go box Juan looked at me like I did something wrong.

I bike by this place on the regular to and from work– there is always someone ordering. We decided to check it out one night on our way home since we saw they were apart of the axxess card. Buy one, get one free. I got a California burrito– it was realllllly good but the only thing that bummed me out was all the rice and beans were on the bottom. Towards the end that’s all I pretty much was eating so I decided to call it quits. The plus side is they have quality Mexican food with authentic taste! Oh yeah. Get the homemade horchata! Needless to day we’ll be back.

First things first, the service is impeccable. Never a empty cup of water or plate. Service is friendly and on point, and the food is simply delicious. Everything here that I have tried so far as been above and beyond. My favorite part is their CHIPS! They give all customers chips with Queso Fresco as well as Mole. Mmmmm!

A year ago I would have given a 5 star review, and tonight it would have been 3. The inside of your burrito is always fantastic, there’s chunks of cabbage and onion in the pico de gallo which I give 2 thumbs up on. The food has usually been flawless and tasty. They raised their prices because of the late night drunk food popularity and charge a $.50 to go order fee even when there done in patio is closed. Their used to be a super friendly happy guy working the window at night. I hope he is either on vacation or moved onto a more lucrative job because he was the reason I didn’t mind paying $ 10 for an $ 8 burrito. Tonight the cashier was slightly less jovial and my burrito was extra greasy and there was a big rip in he tortilla. For $ 10 I would have liked a tightly wrapped burrito without a big hole in it, but hoping that next time they wow me.

I like the service and the eatery. I used my Santa Barbara Axxess Card here! I ordered the chicken tacos and a lemonade. The waitress delivered my order to the outdoor patio, where I was seated and I enjoyed my lunch.

It was good, but the wait time is pretty long even though there weren’t that many people there! They offer free chips and mole sauce with your order, but personally I’m not a fan of the sauce. I tried the chicken fajitas plate and shrimp burrito. The shrimp wasn’t overcooked and pretty fresh so that was nice. Overall, average price and good enough mexican food, just not the best(in my opinion).

I forgot that my favorite taco place(Lilly’s) is closed on Tuesdays. I kind of HAD to have a taco so I figured I’d give this place a shot. I ordered a carnitas taco(which was okay), a shrimp taco(shrimp was very overcooked and tough), and french fries(which were okay like cafeteria fries). Both tacos were topped with a heap of tomatoes. The green salsa was bland and the red salsa was incredibly spicy. The folks there were really nice, but took a very long time to prepare my order and it wasn’t even busy. Since there aren’t many food options open in the wee hours, I can see why people may think this place is the bomb at 2am while under a boozy spell. I, too, would happily eat the hell out of some very average food while drunk at 2am.

Had the al pastor burrito. It was good and the meat was well seasoned. The overall burrito was a bit smaller than usual. They only had two salsas, both very good but I preferred the green. I used my axxess card to get two for one so that worked out really well. I will be stopping by to try some of the other things as well.

Bomb bomb bomb. Showed up 30 minutes before close on Friday. Had to brave a drunk college kid who kept trying to touch me. Over an over. I personally had the olé mole burrito, and it was freaking amazing. I hate rice, and ordered no rice, and the burrito was still huge and packed with meat. Would definitely repeat this experience any time. Next time maybe the pastor nachos!

Wanna talk about a business that is failing! Meh food, terrible customer service and a togo up charge on a place that is only Togo. Terrible experience will not be back.

This restaurant has been a favorite of mine since I first ate here about 4 years ago but something happened yesterday that made me write this review! First of all, this is the only restaurant around that I know of that has pupusas. For those who don’t know, pupusas are a delicious Salvadoran dish(they accurately note this on their menu). This is listed as a Mexican food restaurant but they carry a Salvadoran dish, how awesome is that? Anyways, yesterday I was there around 7:30PM and I ordered two pupusas. The guy working got my order wrong, I wont go into much detail of how he messed up. To make up for it, he brought me an extra pupusa free of charge! On top of that, there was a rush of people so he was hustling and bustling about the restaurant. So I tip my hat to this gentleman, because of him I write this review. Also the food is delicious, and the portions are great. Very affordable too. Has a nice outdoor seating area which is perfect for a wonderful evening meal in the warm Santa Barbara weather. It’s near State street so it’s just a short walk from the glamour of downtown Santa Barbara. Btw, they give you some chips and mole(Mexican dish, look it up) while you wait if you are not getting your food to go. Check this place out, I’m sure you won’t regret it. –signing out

Ok. I thought this place would be a big hit.. after 10pm on a Saturday night and there were some standing outside like it was the food stamp line. Hubby goes and orders. … brings back tacos and tamales. The tacos are served dry. I should’ve been warned when they served lemon with their beef tacos. That should’ve been my first warning. So I go to the window for salsa and the give me salsa that’s so hot that it made my taco inedible.. the green was“ok” but tasted jarred. If the meat was any drier I could classify it as jerky. Plus side, it was cheap and open after 10. If you’re wanting some place to to eat after 10 pm, taco bell will be a better choice

A nice, legit Mexican place to eat. They are well-known for their mole so we stopped by to give it a try. It was good except for some reason they put too much coriander or cumin in it for the batch that I tried… it tasted more like Indian food than Mexican food! I was a little disappointed but honestly the rest of the flavors were good and well balanced so I am just chalking it up to a bad batch. The chicken in the enmoladas were grilled… it added a strange flavor, I think it would be better shredded chicken and with some queso fresco inside. My husband got a torta, he liked it. The aguas frescos were really really good. They tasted natural. I would like to go back again to re-try the mole but otherwise everything was pretty good. Nice service too.
