Not even worth 1 star! Worst, most dishonest company I have EVER worked with!!! Owners lied to us and overcharged us almost $ 700. They ignored our many calls and emails and told us they had«gone out of business” — they should!!!

Terrible service; Crooked Business Practices We utilized Serenity Limousines(aka Hecker Transportation LLC) in Sept 2012 for transportation during our wedding weekend. You must AVOID this company at all costs. I picked up their card with a discount rate at a hotel in Solvang and acquired a quote through their website. The quote offered an additional discount for cash payment. Thinking this was a great deal, I booked a sedan to transport my grandmother from the airport to our rental property and a sedan for my wife and I from our reception to our hotel. Both events had terrible results. My grandmother(88 years old) was to be met at the airport for transfer to the house we were renting in Santa Ynez. The driver was not present on arrival and we were told that he had a flat tire and would be there in 30 minutes. 30 minutes turned in to over 1 hour after a series of constant promises that the driver was«right around the corner.» The driver was not at all apologetic upon arrival at the house, my grandmother was very stressed and I should have cancelled my sedan for the wedding night. On our wedding night the sedan arrived on time. We paid the diver cash upon arrival at the hotel as agreed to when we booked the service. My wife witnessed the transaction but we did not think to ask for a receipt. HUGEMISTAKE. I suppose you do not think that a company advertised in a upscale motel is managed and staffed by thieves. The day before departing on our honeymoon, I noticed a charge from Serenity Limousines on my card. After a few emails with the owner(again, avoid at all costs), I received an email stating, «Scott, we just had the chauffeur arrested yesterday and the refund will be shown on your next statement, the local police will be in contact with you to take your statement .» I patiently waited. This never happened. I sent a follow up email. No response. I finally successfully challenged the charge with my credit card company. I will certainly be contacting the BBB and called the hotel to warn against association with this crooked company(see previous review; this is not an isolated event). My warning to all you: do business with Serenity Limousines/Hecker Transportation/Chris Hecker at your own risk. Consumers do not have to tolerate shameful business practices like this.

I would never use this company again. I am sorry I have to write a negative review but the company really deserves it! They double charged me in the amount of $ 720 dollars. We payed the driver in cash and I asked the company not to charge my card, but they did anyway. 4 months later, and numerous of calls they don’t seem to take care of the issue… very frustrating. And you could never ever reach accounting department… they are a ghost or non existing… I would never recommend this company to anyone! UPDATE: After few months trying to deal with the company and trying to get my money back, I finally spoke with the president of the company! He insisted that I never paid cash to the driver. He was insanely rude to me and threatened to sue me for 50K for writing this negative review on Unilocal!He said that his attorney is already looking into my background. Then, he hung up the phone on me! I am speechless! Please don’t ever use company if you care even remotely for customer service!
