I rarely give a 5 star rating but Adi and his crew deserve it. I’m fairly new to the area and I’ve been looking for a good bike shop for months. I found a listing on Craigslist for a ’15 Yamaha FZ-​07. If you know this bike you know how hard it is to find a good used one. After having several bad interactions with the two GP Sports locations I was a little skeptical about visiting a shop I knew nothing about. After talking to Adi on the phone for 5 minutes I knew this was where I was going to buy my next bike. I ran to the shop on my lunch break for a test ride. After the test ride I put down a deposit. The bike I was trading in wasn’t quite ready and Adi did not mind. He held the Yamaha for me until my trade was 100%. He even gave me a little more for my trade since I just had work done. Buying from Adi is like having a good friend own a bike shop. I have told as many people as I can about my amazing experience and I hope my review helps. It was such a great experience I wish I needed another bike!

A great place, totally deserves it’s 5 start average rating (quite rare, if not unique, thing).
A was looking for a lightweight beginner sportbike, something like Kawasaki Ninja 500 or Suzuki GS 500, and spent quite a bit of time searching of Craigslist. After calling at several posted ads I found this one, and it looked pretty interesting. Called, came in on one of the next days, inspected bike they had in inventory. Guys at the store were very friendly and knowledgeable, gave me useful advises and helped me make a choice.
Bought my bike here and pretty happy, would recommend as a top choice for those choosing used motorcycle.

My boyfriend just bought his bike from Adi on Saturday and we travelled from Sacramento to do so. He worked with him the previous days so that when we got there, the bike was ready and only the paperwork left to do. It was a great buying experience and you could tell they were honest hard workers. I work at a car dealership and know a shady person when I see one, but that was definitely not the case here. Great place to buy a bike. I’ve had a handful of interactions with Adi from purchasing my first bike, a 2006 Ninja 500, to breaking my key in the lock and asking him for advice. He cares about his customers and puts out a clear effort to go the extra mile. I’d be happy to buy another bike from him.

Like everyone else on here I had an amazing experience with Ak motors. I’d just moved to the area and needed wheels quick, dropped by Ak and left an hour later with a great bike. I’d been riding scooters for the last few years but this was my first actual motorcycle and Adi walked me through the whole process. He was even able to get me financing even though I didn’t have a permanent address yet, and he took care of all the paperwork for it too.
No negotiating, no upselling, just walked in and walked out with a great bike at a great price ($ 1000 less than the blue book value), I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the market for another bike.

I LOVE Ak Motors! Hands down the best place in the Bay Area (or anywhere in my most genuine opinion) to purchase a motorcycle. I went to several dealerships before I found Ak Motors, which includes places in Mountain View, San Francisco, San Rafeal, and San Jose to name a few and on the spectrum of customer service/​care to pricing and reliability Ak Motors comes in first by far.
I contacted Adi after reading about the company on their website and was quite impressed with how they began and grew into the fully functional dealership they are now. I shot Adi a text and he replied almost immediately. I let him know my situation, that I didn’t have the best credit score, only about $ 1000 to put down on a bike, and wanted something specific bike with few miles and mint condition. You might think I’m asking a lot for a little, and that is exactly how every other dealership I went to treated me. Kind of like I was an untrustworthy and undeserving jerk that did something to offend them. So yeah they shrugged me off and I left those places feeling pretty bad about myself.
I show up to Adi’s shop on a Saturday under the impression they are open only for two hours on Saturdays when in fact he is there 7 days a week. This is because he is willing to open up shop at your convenience (how many placed do you know will open according to your personal schedule, zero). I get there we chat about the special order process he has available. With the special order process he will pick up a bike you find on Craigslist (anywhere in California), and purchased it at the best price possible after it passes a thorough inspection by him or a trusted associate.
For the next three weeks I search for bikes on Craigslist and continue saving money for the down payment. About a month and a half after I drop off the cash (Halloween a Saturday) and I send him several Craigslist links with bikes I like. Within hours of receiving them he lets me know has contacted the sellers and negotiated pricing. Of all the bikes, Adi ends up purchasing the one I told him I wanted the most, an all black 2011 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-​6R, mint condition without a scratch, 3500 miles and garage kept.
I gave Adi the downpayment on Saturday, he got in touch with the sellers the same day he planned to look at it the following Tuesday (that’s as soon as the seller was available), and I picked it up later that night. On top of it all he even let me borrow a jacket and gloves so I could right home. Also, he offered me a helmet and a disc lock for security. AMAZING! If you are going to buy a bike you must go here. The fact that this place managed to get a perfect 5 star review from every Unilocaler is an accomplishment in itself, but, what the hell, here is the 41^st five star review.
This is THE place to buy a used motorcycle whether you are a first time buyer, like myself, or whether you are looking to upgrade to something bigger/​faster. As I was going through the process of getting my M1/​C license, I spent countless hours on craigslist, and made a few visits to local dealers. After several weeks of searching and driving around, I kept coming back to AK Motors postings and realizing that there is not much else at that price point and quality. When I was ready I visited Abi and about an hour later drove away on an almost brand spanking new 2014 Ninja 300, with a few smart upgrades from the previous owner, and at almost half the price of a new one.
If you are looking to purchase a motorcycle at a reasonable price you owe to yourself to check out Ak motors. Done.

This is the place to buy your next motorcycle. Not only are the prices fair but you get excellent service as well! Why go look at junk bikes on Craigslist and waste your time when AK Motors has a huge selection and stand by their vehicles? They diagnose bikes before the sale for any safety concerns and replace anything that is needed. The FZ6 I had my heart set on had charging issues that they found and they went ahead and replaced the parts (brand new) before I picked it up. Unfortunately the manufacture sent them a bad stator and I had to bring it back, but they returned it to me issue free a day later. Adi and the team really do a great job.

I bought my first bike 2 months ago from Ak Motors and I could not be any happier. Adi (the owner) is the guy for you if you’re in need for your first bike or upgrade. I didn’t know anything about motorcycles and came here after receiving my license. Him knowing this, he knew exactly what type of bike I needed for my skill set and comfort. Adi recommended me the 2007 Kawasaki Ninja 650R he had in stock and I instantly fell in love after test riding it. Along with tips and support, he even helped me quicken the transaction process while helping multiple other of his costumers to get me on time for class.
I have never seen any other dealership give such a «Wow» effect. I will always recommend this place to anybody interested in buying a motorcycle, these guys will have you covered.

I bought my first bike from Ak motor. Adi and his staff were very helpful and enthusiastic about helping me find my first bike. They let me test ride the bike before buying and gave me numerous riding tips as I basically learned to ride the bike in their parking lot. I plan to return to Ak motor to upgrade to a super sport bike as soon as I’m ready to ride a real racing bike.

Usually people write their first review on Unilocal because of a horrible experience, but I’m writing my first review because this place is awesome. Adi, the owner, and the folks that work there know what it’s like for beginners. I was in for my first bike purchase and I asked Adi for recommendations even though I had my eyes set on the SV650S. Instead of trying to convince me to hop on a 250 like other dealers would, I was told to go for a 500 so I won’t outgrow it too quickly and have to come back soon for another bike. I figured the same, but my heart was set on the 2007 SV650S, on which Adi offered to do a naked conversion for me at the cost of parts since I really wanted a naked SV.
After the purchase, I’ve received nothing but great support. When I blew a headlight bulb in the middle of a Saturday night, Adi picked up the phone and let me know my options. After consulting with him and finding out I need a H4 bulb, I cautiously rode a couple miles to an Autozone to buy a replacement and managed to replace it myself, because Adi’s mechanic taught me how to change the bulb on the new light after the naked conversion before I left the dealer. You can learn a lot while waiting around for work to be done on your bike at this place.
I also want to mention that the prices here are fairly close to what you would get from private sellers. Even if it’s a couple benjamins more, it’s worth every penny to know that Adi and his mechanics got your back.
P. S. If you end up visiting Adi for your next bike, please don’t buy the orange Triumph Speed Four (sorry Adi), because I called dibs… once I grow confident on my SV… eventually…

AK Motors is awesome. Adi (the owner) let me put $ 300 down on a motorcycle and he held onto it for a week and a half for me. When I had a problem with my debit card while trying to pay, he let me take the shop’s scooter down to Wells Fargo to get money out.
Adi made sure I knew how to use all the essential functions before I left as well. If you’re in the market for a motorcycle, take the extra trip down here. Great prices for great bikes, and great service as well.

It is no surprise to me that AK Motors has received only 5 star reviews so far and they have all been on point. I bought my 2005 Ninja 500R from Adi a couple years ago for a great deal and it has been problem free ever since. As a new rider, Adi was extremely helpful in getting me on the right beginner bike and I have no complaints at all about my Ninja (although I’m starting feel the need for more power }:-)). After finishing the transaction, he had one of his guys give me a rundown of the bike and even gave me a quick riding lesson to make sure I was in good shape to ride it home.
Over the years Adi has been very accessible for parts and maintenance tips. He has even hooked me up with spare parts at no charge and the cost of parts he had to order were lower than prices at other shops and online. All of Adi’s bikes are in great running shape and he makes sure of that. You’ll be hard pressed to find a dealer that can beat his prices which are about on par with private sellers on CL. He knows his way around a bike and is a great guy to do business with which has earned him my trust and future business. When it comes time for me to upgrade, AK Motors will definitely be the first place I go.

I first purchased a 2006 ninja 500r from Adi three years ago. I was treated like a rock star the minute I met him. I was allowed to take the bike around the block. I told him I was a new rider and had just gotten my license and I remember him saying «Hey you gotta ride it sometime».
Over the course of my two years of owning that bike I never had a single problem with that bike. It ran beautifully. Once I ran out of gas but I thought that the bike was broken. I figured I would give Adi a call to ask for help. To my surprise he answered and he told I probably ran out of gas. It was amazing service months after my purchase!!! This is a kind of customer service I had never experienced in my life.
I recently saw Adi to purchase another bike. I bought an SV650 a couple of months ago. While I was debating the purchase he allowed me to test drive several bikes. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped me reach my decision. Adi bought the ninja 500r listed above a little bit below what the original purchase price was years prior. I love his bike!!! Runs like a champ. Today 8÷14÷15 I just saw Adi to ask for help with my headlight. He fixed it no problem and was happy to go above and beyond the call of duty.
I have alot of respect for this man and his business. I would recommend anyone and everyone if you want to buy a motorcycle as a beginner or one as an experienced rider AK motors is the place to go. Not only is the service impeccable it is consistently reliable and trustworthy.

I bought my first motorcycle from Adi back in 2010, a Ninja 500R, and after referring several friends to him in the last five years, it finally came time for me to upgrade my own ride. When I saw he had gotten the exact bike I was searching for (an R6) in stock, I couldn’t be happier. I accompanied my friends to a number of other dealerships, and no where else was I able to find salespeople who were as helpful, or inventories that provided as much selection.
While there’s very little that hasn’t passed through Adi’s doors — he’s sold everything from jet skis to ATV’s and Vespas — Adi’s specialization lies in beginner motorcycles, and he likes it that way, as it’s the most critical motorcycle purchase you make. Adi takes the time to gauge your riding ability and make sure you end up with a bike that is well sized for your physical build (height and weight), and is powerful enough for you not to out-​grow it right away, without being too heavy for you to learn on. He always has several options in varying price ranges, and never pushes you toward the more expensive bike. In order to ensure the best experience, he’s happy to make any requested modifications to the bikes, like raising or lowering, or suggest aftermarket parts like raised handlebars to improve comfort and control.
Perhaps what I appreciate most, though, is Adi’s patience and helpfulness. Even though he knew I was set on my R6, he was happy to let me test ride a number of other bikes first. When I got back, he was helping another customer, and was once again helpful and patient as ever, answering a number of questions about maintenance and aftermarket luggage options in case the customer wanted to take the bike touring.
In short, all my friends and I have found AK Motors to provide the absolute best of the two worlds of buying used bikes: you get the personal attention and great value typically found only in private sales, and the selection, professionalism, and registration services of an established dealership. Adi is one of a kind! Helped me pick out a bike that fits me, instead of getting me to buy the expensive one that I probably wouldn’t be able to handle.

I’ve bought two bikes from Adi at Ak Motors. The first bike I bought off of him was a 2006 SV650. It was an excellent bike and I rode it for four years.
The next bike I bought off of Adi was a Triumph Street Triple R. They’re not that easy to find, and Adi helped me find one, had it inspected for me, helped me make the buy, and shipped it to the Bay Area.
In general, buying a used bike isn’t easy. Adi took all the hassle out of buying a used bike and made it quick and easy for me to get the bike I wanted for a great price, worry free.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for Ak Motors! Adi is incredible. After months of trying to find a motorcycle online and at different dealerships, I walked into Adi’s shop at the recommendation of my friend. He defines the expression «hole in the wall.»
Adi didn’t try to sell me the most expensive bike like other dealers tried to do. This is clearly his passion and he is incredibly helpful at getting what YOU want at YOUR cost. I haven’t met someone with more integrity. The process was fast and painless.

— Came by the next day to pick it up and that was it.

When you buy something with Adi, you don’t only buy a bike, but you buy a great relationship.

Adi is that «cool guy you look up to when you are 15 and he tells you ‘automatic is a handicap,’ drives a import with a nice exhaust, turbocharged, goes dirt biking, pops wheelies, and makes donuts in parking lots.» Not sure if any of this is true in his case, but you get the point.
My first bike shopping experience was with Adi. I knew nothing about bikes. Was scared I would buy some piece of junk off craigslist. I rented a Vulcan 900 twice right after passing the NY bike test (huge monster) and then didn’t ride for a year. So I didn’t know anything about bikes, and I barely knew how to ride.
I asked the guy next door to his shop if he was out to con me, and he said Adi was professional, knowledgeable, and a good man. When I saw all the bikes in his warehouse and met the other guys I knew I was in good hands.
My heart was set on the 2006 Kawasaki 650R. I loved the black/​red look. Adi showed me all the bike features. I examined it throughly; was never rushed. I of course didn’t want to pay asking price so I asked for a bit lower. Adi was firm. He suggested a cheaper red 2007 Kawasaki 650R, but it was too red, and a bit beat up. I wasn’t interested and continued looking at the bike of my dreams.
At some point I decided it was worth the price and spent every last penny I made from my sale of 2008 recession stocks. Adi gave me a 3 month warranty; I didn’t need it since the bike was in such pristine condition. Everyone though I bought it new.
I signed the papers, called my insurance and then told Adi I don’t have a helmet. So we went to his house, he gave me a helmet and I drove the bike home. He then offered to pick me up from my home later and drive me back to my car, which was at his shop! This guy really knows how to close a deal.
You can even have work done on your bike for a great rate from one of his guys! Or if you like getting your hands dirty he will offer some tips and leave the shop open for you.
Nothing gets in the way of you getting your dream bike when you buy from Adi.
