The manager Doreen, is an arrogant snob. She wouldn’t return an item that my grandmother bought, even after I explained her health challenges and disability status. Because it was out of the so called time period! Even though the merchandise had the tags attached and we had the receipt!
We won’t be back!
We’ll spend my money at Nordstrom and Macy!

Very rude customer service! Don’t go to this place! Was ignoring you like a beggar if you don’t buy anything.

This place will not take you seriously if you are young. Very judgmental staff. I was going to a wedding and looking for a green dress in the shade of emerald (which is very hard to find!) and I was walking past this store and noticed that they had a few green dresses! I walk in (note I was on my lunch break and not carrying a purse or a wallet– which might be why they ignored me) and there are two ladies (older) in the store and I get no greeting what so ever. They were too involved with their vacuum to help me even though I was the only one in the store. I look at the green dresses and ask the ladies if they were going to get anymore green dresses in stock and one lady just snapped no at me and did not even offer if I want to try on the one I was holding. She acted like I annoyed her from having a conversation with the other lady in there and decided that I was not worth her time. I have worked in a dress boutique for a year and know that this is unacceptable work behavior and it is unacceptable to judge someone based on their age. I really wanted a green dress and willing to shell out some money for one and decided to take my money elsewhere. I ended up not finding a green dress for the wedding but did not want to go back to that store.

Great costumer service a lady named Suzanne helped me the first time and then Paulina the second time I visited the store.
They have lovely clothes. Great shirts and gowns.
I was shocked when I went in the second time asking for Suzanne that they didn’t work on commission because she was so helpful and nice.
They offer discounts after you spend so many dollars. I’m a coupon cutter so that’s a bonus!
They are so nice and helpful here!

Cache is quite a small boutique on 2^nd floor in Valley Fair Mall. My mom loves to shop here for her dresses, and since we are the same size, I got to ‘borrow’ her dresses from time to time :-)
My recent BDAY this month OCT 2014, Mom got me a few dresses here, well don’t I feel old. Although, I love the form-​fitting skin tight dresses. Hey, as my mama always says «If you have it, flaunt it, if you don’t have it, hide it.»
So I’ve been flaunting these dresses around the last few weeks! Good thing is they always have SALES, bad thing is that you CAN’T return when it’s on sales.
The selection is smaller than other stores in the Bay Area, so sometimes we come in and they don’t have anything XS or ⁰⁄₂ for us. The service has always been good for us.

I am reviewing this store and the San Francisco store The San Francisco store has a much much friendlier staff. In San Jose they only greet you if they know you I have watched several different times in the store No matter how I am dressed that day I never get a greeting. Their tone is friendly when you buy something. The store itself has a nice trendy feel but the sales staff precludes me from wanting to enter the store. I give San Francisco 4 stars for the always friendly greeting I get

When I“m not wearing a robe and slippers, I wear Cache… the clothes are a tailored fit and can go from the office to dinner.

I do think it kind of depends on who’s there that day (staff). But whenever I go and am helped by Sylvia (?) or this lady who has long dark hair, she always lets me know of specials going on (ie. buying a dress allows me an accessory, discounts, etc.) Dresses are definitely highly-​priced but some of them are just worth it as I come here for an occasional splurge. Oh, and if you can’t find the right size for a dress in the color you want, they’ll let you try on the dress of a different color and have the headquarters send you the right colored dress in that size free of shipping costs.

I was here over the past weekend looking to buy a dress for a wedding. They have a great selection of dresses and great customer service.
The only major complaint I have is it took over 30 minutes to get into a dressing room. There were 4 dressing rooms, but only 2 were in use. SA’s were really professional about getting your name and getting you a number, but still… it took FOREVER. When i finally got a room, it was filled with clothes on the floor, clothes on the hangers… my room even had a clothes rack filled with clothes. I had no room to change, and because the mirror was covered by the clothes rack, i had to go outside each time to see how the dresses looked on me. STRAIGHT UP INCONVENIENT.
I would come back because they have a lot of sizes and some great selections, but i would definitely carve out 2 hours of my day to spend here.

When I become an overly tan, fake boobed stay at home mom I am so coming here. They have the most tacky and overpriced crap, yet I can’t help but stop in the window when I walk by to admire the overly sparkly and tight ensembles displayed.

When I was younger, I always passed this place at the mall. It is near the Disney store somewhat. Haha.
I’ve been here twice. The first time, the SA was nice and helpful. when asked. which to me is quite alrite because I hate the annoying ones who won’t leave you alone and knock on the door while you’re still naked!
The second time, I came in and was ignored by this older blonde lady. It must be because I am younger because sure enough, as the older middle aged ladies came in, she surrounded them and tried to be as helpful as possible. I even overheard her suggesting other items to go with the outfit to this other lady.
YET, when I asked her if this dress was still available, she told me it was sold out and walked away.
When I tried on some dresses, she just put them in the room and was no help whatsoever. Not even suggesting alterations which was needed for one of the dresses.
Bad service! But I still love some of their dresses. The not too strange and tacky older lady ones :)
Prices are 160 to 260+ for a casual slik tube top dress to a full length gown with intricate lacing and beading.
