WOW. I usually do not like chicken, but let me tell you this place is crazy. I would eat chicken for all three meals if it was from here.

Valley Fair Mall, Food Court * Free sample of the chicken and I was in line ready to order. Actually I needed some food and been wanting to try this spot since it opened. * Small Coke — see pic. Absolutely ridiculous that is a small! * Salad — Fresh n Crisp, I’m glad they did not pour dressing because that other two items had a ton of sodium. * Chicken — pretty good but I couldn’t finish it all. Between this and the Mac n Cheese it was a double sodium whammy!!! * Mac n Cheese — pretty good too, then again — along side chicken it seemed like a lot of sodium. * Special sauce — not bad.

Tried Chicken Wow thinking it would be as good as Chicken Now(referring to one in Santa Anita mall in the 626: P), but I was wrong. Rather than saying wow like I thought I would, it was more like a «what???» The chicken itself is okay, a bit on the dry side but this could be remedied by eating it with dipping sauce. Not sure what the dipping sauce is made of but it kind of tasted like ketchup and ranch mixed together? That would explain the pink-orange color haha. I will say the chicken was decently breaded and added some good flavor. I really didn’t enjoy their sides, though. The cole slaw and potatoes tasted a little strange to me. Maybe try some other sides if you try this place.

I have come here many times for lunch. I tried everything on the menu. Yesterday however, I tried the salmon sandwich for the first time. Didn’t expect it to be that good. It was well cooked. Took longer than chicken, but really worth the wait. Try it. –Amin

I love that there are always fresh samples being handed out to passer by-ers. I was one of those naïve people passing by, who didn’t know their life was about to change, and was given a generously cut sample of this tasty chicken tender. And I’ve found the best fast food chicken tender ever. I quickly hopped in line for me. And my order came out the same way it was advertised! Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. You get a choice of two sides as well, between cole slaw, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, roasted potatoes, salad and potato salad. I might be forgetting one. The mac and cheese seem to be a hit and miss on certain days. It was very generic tasting the first time I had it, but recently there was no plastic flavor! Mashed potatoes are usually consistent and fluffy. Three pieces of chicken is plenty of food, added with those two sides, you’ve got a good meal for a good deal there! The workers aren’t too friendly. They always look like you’re bothering them by ordering, but they are willing to give you as much sauce cups as you want. So, yay?

I tried the sample of the fried chicken and it was so good — crunchy and juicy. I ordered 2 pieces of the fried chicken and the mac and cheese. I didn’t want to eat too much as I wanted to save my stomach for dinner. Anyway, the employees were friendly enough and they got my food out pretty quickly. But here is where the disappointment comes in: The fried chicken was decent… the crust wasn’t as crunchy as the sample I tasted but the meat was juicy. There were quite a lot of grease but that is to be expected from fried foods. Overall not too bad. The sauce tasted really good with the fried chicken, too. Now for the Mac and Cheese: –2 stars! Too watery and soooo bland! I couldn’t finish it. Maybe I’m too spoiled by KFC and Popeye’s delicious, flavorful and creamy Mac n cheese, but Chicken Wow’s MNC was so awful. No flavor and it looked watered down. I ended up throwing it away. What a waste. Overall the food here is eh… okay. I’ll stick with Popeye’s and KFC for my fried chicken cravings instead.

I’ve always passed by Chicken Wow when visiting Westfield Valley Fair mall. I would always try their samples of crispy chicken cutlets and they taste great. Today, I decided to try out a menu item. I got the crispy Chicken Wow burger combo. The combo comes with a medium sized drink and a salad or bag of chips of your choice. The burger was great, the crispy chicken was surprisingly tender and fresh(saw the man in the kitchen making my burger!) The meal was enough to make me full. Con: a bit pricey for my liking(per menu item). Cost me about $ 10 for the combo alone(in comparison to, let’s say, Chipotle’s $ 8 Chicken bowl, which was a station away.)

Chicken is amazing! Very tender, juice and just cooked and served. I’ve got coleslaw and Mac & cheese for sides. Don’t bother — coleslaw was just too sweet and M&C lacked flavor. Thus 1 star off

I love their chicken tenders! theyre so juicy and delicious. They should get better sides, but obviously their chicken is their main dish! definitely have to try the chicken though :)

The free samples is what got me in and now I’m hooked. Smart! :) The chicken tenders is probably the best I have ever tasted in my life. It’s now my favorite food to get when I’m at the food court starving after a day of shopping. Although I recently just tried Chick-FIl-A and I have to say it’s pretty close with Chicken WOW but I believe Chicken Wow is still better in terms of their chicken tenders being larger and tastier. Haven’t tried Chicken Wow sandwiches. Warning though, the combo is huge with three chickens strips and 2 sides. It might be a lot of food for some people. I like to get the kid size which comes with 2 chicken strips and one side(I usually get mashed potato). Sometimes the service is a little rude. But hey that’s the food court for you.

Almost everytime I come to valley fair’s cafeteria I eat at this place. Mostly b/c they have a worker handing out big pieces of chicken samples and I just can’t not have it after that lol. They have different menu options. Some include chicken sandwiches, wraps, combos and salads. Sides include mashed potatoes, veggies, corn, roasted potatoes and more. I usually opt for the original crispy chicken salad. I love it. They give a container full of salad with four pieces of the chicken tenders. The dressing is their original orange sauce. I’m an orange sauce fiend. Whenever there’s orange sauce, I’ll eat. There’s here is really good and it makes for a hella good salad dressing. I like to ask for extra dressing on the side. The salad’s really good and the portion is super big and it makes me full everytime. Overall, great fast food joint. The prices are sort of up there for fast food, but it’s quality and good so it’s not even a problem.

I’m here just for the chicken tenders and it serves it’s purpose«chicken wow». I don’t have any comment for the side because I just don’t care for it. It’s funny how others on here give this place 2 stars because of the sides suck! SMH… order the effing chicken not the effing side! Trust me you won’t be disappointed.

Always get food here when I come to Valley Fair. Chicken tenders are always piping hot and juicy. For 3 pieces, I actually get full pretty fast off their 3 piece tender combo. I chose the mashed potatoes and mac&cheese as my 2 sides. ANYBODYWHOSAYSTHEYDONTLIKEMAC&CHEESEARELIARS! I frickin’ LIVE for their mac & cheese. Mashed potatoes could’ve been better, but it is a better option than your regular KFC. Also, make sure you get their sauce. Idk what it is, but it is SOGOOD with the chicken. Love love love it.

One of the better food options at Valley Fair food court. There’s usually someone giving out samples of the chicken tenders which you should definitely try. Dunk the chicken in that orange sauce. So yum. I walk by the food court every time I’m at this mall just so that I can get these samples lol. I really like the quesadilla with crispy chicken. You might feel horrible and 288429lbs heavier after you eat it though. Don’t get just the chicken tenders; it’s too much and you get sick of it. The Caesar salad is aite, but I wish they separated the croutons from the lettuce so that the croutons will remain crunchy.

Food is amazing here for being just fried chicken :). I always come here when i’m at valley fair. HOWEVER; I had horrible service twice from the same person. There’s a person that I believe is male and he wears makeup and have these sharpie drawn eyebrows. He ISRUDE. he will flirt with men just walking by. The first time me and another woman were waiting for our meal. Our meal was out; however he was just chatting with these group of men in spanish. Cool. The group of men pointed that I was waiting. The Server asked, «What do you want?» I said, «I’m waiting for my food i’m 67» He said, «67!!!» and continued talking to the group of men. Another server came up and took the two boxes on the counter and called out for 66, then called 67, that has been up there for a good 5 minutes. The Man with makeup still was just flirting with these group of men. I ignored this until it happened AGAIN. Second time, same thing, same man with poorly drawn eyebrows/makeup. Instead of getting me my food he decided to flirt with another man who was also waiting in line for his food. I was before him, saw my food and again had to wait because this server believes he can flirt with customers and not do his job. I’m sorry if i’m being harsh with his description but I never caught his name. I believe he is a man, therefore I was using he. He has makeup on that makes him seem a more tint of red. His eyebrows seem like they are drawn with sharpie. I LOVE chicken wow. But these two incidents made me angry.

Like Victoria N. said, «we were sold by the free samples». The chicken they were handing out was so good, we decided this is where we’ll eat after a late night of graduation shopping with the oldest kid. The chicken tenders are huge and soooooooooo tender and juicy. We both got a 3 tenders meal and ended up taking 3 tenders home. I probably shouldn’t have, but I got the mac-n-cheese as one of my sides and the caesar salad and my son got mashed potatoes and corn. All the sides were actually pretty good too. If you are in the mall and want something yummy… definitely stop by.

This place is pretty good! It doesn’t leave a sinking greasy feeling after eating but it’s still so yummy. The best thing is the spicy sauce. The fried chicken is the way to go but try also gave grilled and rotisserie. The mash was deli and so are the potatoes. Veggie are veggies but the coleslaw tasted like snot. I really didn’t like it. It’s sort of pricey but that’s just how VF is turning out to be now.

I first had Chicken Wow when we walked by and were offered a sample. We got in line immediately and to be honest all this chicken made me feel was similar to the movie Friday saying, «Chicken so good it makes me wanna slap yo mama.» Like damn man. All I ever want to eat when we are at Valley Fair is this chicken! I haven’t tried anything else since moving back from college. They have fresh ingredients and even though my favorite chicken is their fried chicken, it is still relatively guilt free and whats better than fresh chicken made with only the best ingredients with your health in mind? They have fried and grilled chicken choices and for $ 8.75 you can get three strips and two sides for for $ 7.99 get 5 strips. I recommend the first as you can balance off the fried chicken with vegetable sides.(Don’t judge me, I can be getting fatty sides too). And even though the line has increasingly gotten longer, the wait is never longer than 10 minutes! Food comes out super quick too :) Definitely a go to spot when craving fried chicken. Sorry Applebee’s and TGIF happy hours chicken, you have become irrelevant and forgotten. PS. Be warned there is one lady there that will only give you one scoop of each side when all the other ladies always give us two. We don’t mind(less food we have to eat) but if you do, make sure to pay attention and pipe up.

During my trip to the mall today, my friends decided to stop by the food court for lunch. After trying all the samples, I went back to chicken wow because the sample was just that good! This shows that samples really do work. haha Anyway, I ordered the 3 chicken tenders with 2 sides. I got coleslaw and mashed potatoes. The guy making my dish was really nice and accommodating! I LOVE mashed potatoes. especially with a lot of gravy. So I asked him if I could have extra gravy, and he offered to give me extra on the side in separate containers! I was pretty pleased with the customer service. The chicken tenders were SOGOOD. True to it’s name, they were very tender. haha and the fried tenders really did«WOW» me: P Eating them dipped in the sauce was absolute perfection. The coleslaw was just coleslaw, nothing special. The mashed potatoes were not amazing, but not bad either. Basically, come here for the chicken! They’re definitely worth trying :) If you feel unsure, grab a sample! They are always sampling.
