Deepa the Threading Queen

The only place I trust doing my eyebrows! I think there’s a card limit maybe $ 15 min? But they do an amazing job threading! I still haven’t gotten over how painful threading is but they really know their stuff.

I waited a few months to write this review but Deepa is as good as it gets !! She is definitely the threading queen !! I have slightly different eyebrows (I hurt myself near one eyebrow and as a result of the wound that one is thinner than the other). None of the other threaders have been able to give me a good arch but Deepa does that wonderfully. I never knew that I could have such a pretty arch :). Thanks to Deepa. I don’t think I will go anywhere else as long as I am in the South Bay.

Been back in the Bay Area for 5 years now and I am still so happy to come to Deepa or her daughter. I always forget it’s closed on Mondays, but always a great visit.

Lisa is the girl! Came here twice already and have had my eyebrows threaded by Lisa. She makes you feel super comfortable and you can easily communicate with her. The first time I came in I was hesitant so I just had her clean everything up. The second time I went I asked her to make it a bit thinner and I loved it!
I’ve heard this place gets busy but each time I came I didn’t have to wait. For some reason, I noticed I tear up here. Not sure if it’s the thread but hey, pain is beauty. Just incase your sensitive, you were cautioned.

Navneeet is the best. My left and right side eyebrows lacked symmetry. Navneet was quick and she made my eyebrows look natural and symmetrical.
Tip: They do not take appointments. You call them 15 min prior reaching the spot and they will pen down your name.
Wait time for me was 1.5 hrs, just for the eyebrows, but it was the holiday season. And after seeing my eyebrows in the end, all my waiting frustration was gone!

I came here during my lunch hour and it was super busy! I called in ahead of time but I think they got my name wrong because when I got there, I didn’t see my name on the list and had to write it down. The wait was close to 30ish minutes, but they’re quick with their threading (10 – 15 minutes on each person).
I hadn’t gotten my brows threaded in over 4 years and decided it was time to redefine and shape my brows. Rosia (sp? I know her name starts with an R) worked on my brows and told me that I didn’t have much to work with but she started to give me a more defined shape. I like how subtly cleaned up it already looks and will be coming back in 2 – 3 weeks time once there is more to work with for her to finish shaping my brows.
$ 10 for eyebrow threading
$ 15 min for credit cards so bring cash!

This place is awesome! When I first got my eyebrows done, I was terrified after hearing stories about others’ painful experiences. The workers there were really nice and talked me through the whole thing, and after seeing how great my brows looked afterwards, I was hooked. Now I come back every couple weeks to get them cleaned up. My first threading experience really wasn’t as painful as I had anticipated, and everyone that works there does an amazing job.
Eyebrows can make or break your face, so I think it’s really important to find a place that does them really well. I don’t plan on going anywhere else to get my eyebrows done. It’s just ridiculously cheap here, the ladies are friendly, and they do an amazing job.

Love this place! The salon is pretty small and I heard it can get pretty busy somedays so I called ahead on a Sunday afternoon only to find, surprisingly, that there was no wait. I wish I remembered to ask for the name of the girl who did my eyebrows. She was so fast! And initially, her speed worried me a bit. It felt like she was taking off large chunks at once. But she knew exactly what she was doing and every cut (if thats what you call it) had a purpose. I swear she was done with my eyebrows in less than 3 min and they turned out great! Pain was minimal too.
At $ 10, I’d say the quality of eyebrow threading you get here is quite a steal. Just remember to bring cash. I believe they have a $ 15 minimum for credit cards. I will definitely be coming back!

I should probably not put the word out but I’m nice like that. Navneet is the best eyebrow threader EVER.
I’m soooo picky (also I’m Persian) so brows are like the holy grail, it makes or breaks our day. She knows exactly what looks best and advises what not to do in between.
Plus the price is ridiculously cheap, I personally think she can increase and still keep her customers +++ more.
I work in Sunnyvale and luckily can come here, otherwise no other place in the east bay where I live is trustable.

5-​stars because Deepa is quick and cheap. Only $ 10 for an eyebrow threading. All of her girls are great — I’d recommend you call ahead to put your name on the list because there can be a wait on the weekends (she only takes walk-​ins and call-​aheads, no appointments).
Also, be sure to bring cash if you only want your brows done! $ 15 card minimum.

$ 10 to get your brows threaded. They do other stuff like the rest of your face, nails, etc. I only come here for brows though. She does a good job and it’s fast, you’re in and out within 10 minutes (if there’s no wait). You get offered aloe to soothe the redness once she’s done.
Tip: you can call ahead to put your name on the list. It’s usually pretty busy on the weekends, so I would highly suggest calling in ahead of time.

Navneet, deepa’s daughter, is the reigning threading princess! I have yet to get my brows did from deepa, but Navneet does an excellent job at holding her throne.
I first came to deepa’s in August and this establishment has been my go-​to for all eye brow needs. I visited for the 3^rd time last week (I go on eyebrow hiatus to the caterpillars grow and give them a chance to turn into butterflies one day) after I had enough!
Since August my eyebrows have shown great improvement and Navneet did a great job training them to grow how I wanted it. I have pics for proof!
Tips:
° Call in 15 – 20 mins before you go in to see if there is a wait (if so, you can have your name added!)
° wait your turn and sign in if you haven’t done so when you arrive
° be ready to brace yourself. Threading is not relaxing compared to other methods such as tweezing, waxing, sugaring (but def looks better!)
° don’t use makeup (eyeliner, mascara)
° cash only under 15 bucks!

It’s definitely been a while since I last had Deepa thread my eyebrows (I was probably pregnant, or just had my son, who’s now 6), but I thought I’d stop by since it’s not far from the office.
First off — they have a new location. Totally didn’t know. It’s a bit further down De La Cruz, and says «Deepa’s Salon» — she’s got nice new digs which looks like a full service salon, and more than one person working.
Deepa actually wasn’t in today — she’s traveling and will be gone for several months — so her daughter threaded my brows today, and did a great job. She’s also super friendly and thorough.
Eyebrows are $ 10. I will continue to utilize them for my south bay brow needs!

Found out about Deepa’s on Unilocal after I moved to the bay, and I’ve really loved the way they’ve shaped up my eyebrows. Sometimes the wait can be really long, so I recommend calling ahead of time.
