Have purchased the Web Power Switch for SOHO and very light load… just SOHO switch, modem, router, etc… Wanted the ability to be able to have the internet self-heal or remotely turn on or off devices when traveling. The unit has last less than one year, and at $ 140, I thought it would be much more durable as it is promoted for server rooms. I’ve now sent emails, sent contact request to support, will be calling to see if they give any answer other than, «Oh, that’s too bad… you’re out of luck.» Company gives the appearance of going out of business since customers don’t matter.

This company also goes by DLI, we purchased their Digital Logger($ 3000.00) for our telephone and radio system, recording these are very vital to our company. The initial hard drive went out and I contacted the company and was told it’s out of warranty and I had to shell out $ 395.00 for a new hard drive.(which is interesting in itself since I can go to Fry’s and get one for $ 70.00 retail) again in 2009 the hard drive goes out I’m told that hard drives don’t last long, so I buy another. Now its 2011 exactly 2 years later after purchasing the last hard drive and it goes out again they offer me a new drive for $ 395.00 or(I love this) upgrade to a newer unit with a 6 year warranty for $ 2800.00. So now after shelling out over $ 4000.00 I have no recording device and I have no data because it’s all been lost in their defective hard drives. I hope anyone who is considering purchasing anything from this company really looks into their business practices and the reliability of their equipment, and most importantly their after sales support,(which is none, and more like after sales additional sales). My best suggestion is Buyer be extremely Aware of this company and their Products.
