Needed a reliable wagon, found one on craigslist listed by Matt at Direct2u. Liked his phone manner, he was upfront and honest about the car, arranged to meet at my convenience, answered all my questions, and was totally unlike any car salesman I’ve ever dealt with — he sees it from the customer’s side, and has no sales manager breathing down his neck. Got the car at a very fair price, he even took care of getting the windshield replaced that day (on a Sunday no less!), arranged to meet later (again at my convenience) to finalize the deal, and took care of all the DMV paperwork. I would definitely do business with him again in future.

I contacted them via Craigslist for a car I was interested in and we met up for a test drive. I live in the city and he offered to meet me halfway. The car was exactly as described and a good deal. While I chose not to buy the car for different reasons (health issues) I could tell from our relatively brief exchange that this is a well run small business and he is straight up about things. I hope to be able to do business with them again.
