This restaurant should get THEMOSTPATHETICSERVICEINTOWNAWARD! We were waiting at the door for 15 minutes and nobody attended the main desk. After seated at the table, we waited 15 more minutes and nobody came inspite of calling the server. Finally we left the restaurant after half an hour without food because they didn’t even notice that our group left. Horrible ZEROSTAR!

My favorite Thai place! This place is the best especially for lunch, there’s a great deal(soup, sides, and main dish for under $ 10). It does get a bit crowded, but not that bad for the area.

This place doesn’t even deserve a star. Waited near the register to order my food to go since they weren’t picking up and an employee greeted me and I told him I want to order to go. He looked towards the kitchen and said«Okay. Someone will be with you». That’s it. Waited for 10 whole mins, another lady came to the register, didn’t even make eye contact with me and walked away. I’m guessing she was getting the check. Very unprofessional and disappointed.

I’ve decided that this is my new go-to Thai place in South bay. My two favorite dishes are delicious and bomb here, so that’s really all I need: Pad see ew is really good, plus always comes in a huge portion. And tom yum soup flavors are exactly where I want them to be. I got the tom yum soup with seafood recently, and it came with plenty of fish, shrimp, and mussels! They have a great deal with their stamp card — buy 10 entrees get $ 10 off! Prices are super reasonable, they stamp for to-go orders, and they combine stamp cards! Very friendly and happy to come back often. Plus, whoever labeled our to-go order last time was hilarious — drew a pig on the pad see ew with pork :)

Best Thai food in town. Been coming here since they opened. Favorites are Tom yum prawns, spicy chicken wings, pad see yew, curry and the pompano fish.

2 stars because I have not had issues in the past. Today I stopped in at 2:44pm to place a to-go order. They close at 3pm, so I was thoroughly disheartened when he said, I’m sorry… the kitchen closes at 2:45pm. I instantly looked down at my phone and it was 2:44pm, I think he was aware that it was not quite cutoff time so he then added that«the kitchen closed about 4 minutes ago.» So, I walked out, what else could I do. But as I was sitting in my car plotting my next move, a man walked in picked up a menu and stood at the counter and… I’m assuming here… but I am pretty sure he placed an order and then I could see him sitting in the«take-out» chairs at the front. I don’t have a problem taking this arbitrary«kitchen closed depending on who you are» as racism or sexism or bad customer servicism. None of them are good. Meanwhile, I mosied down to Thaibodia and I swear on my shoes and socks, I have received my order and am in the car typing this review and it is 3:00pm on the dot. Screw you dubious, duplicitous Dusita.

My boyfriend and I came here in a Friday evening. Parking lot is really small, but we lucked out and found a spot. When we walked in, the hostess who just finished seating someone, walked right by us without even acknowledging our presence. We stood there for about 5 minutes waiting to be seated, or even acknowledged really. When the hostess came back to seat us, there was no hint of friendliness. Minus a star. Most Thai restaurants warn you that their Medium spicy is spicy, but in my experience most of them are exaggerated. This place does not. Their Medium made our stomachs feel warm for the rest of the night! We ordered the rainbow salad, basil fried rice, and the red curry with chicken. I enjoyed all dishes, the basil fried rice a little sweeter than what I’m used to. I’ll be honest that my mouth and lips were burning halfway into our meals so I started losing me sense of taste Lol! My boyfriend swears that the portions are much larger than the other Thai restaurants we go to, so that’s a plus. It seemed like there was only the one hostess and one waiter working that night. On a Friday night! It was incredibly difficult to get anyone’s attention. I couldn’t get a refill of water that I desperately needed; to-go boxes took forever. When we finally got the check, we knew the fastest way would be to walk up and pay at the front. If I could, I would give this place a 3.5 stars until I got a chance to try more dishes. It seems like it has potential, but the owners really need to hire additional staff! In the future, I’ll stick with ordering food for pick up.

The waiters are unprofessional and rude. We waited to be sited for about 30 minutes and when we decided we could no longer wait, the waiter made side comment that the do not need our business anyway… very rude. I would rather give my business to another restaurant that are more accommodating and pleasant. They should not be I. This business because of their mean behavior. If they continue with this attitude, they will fold in no time.

The quality of their food has dramatically gone downhill. Their chefs are most likely overwhelmed by the amount of orders they have to do day in and day out. Understaffing is probably the main reason. I did try to address it to one of the owners but he got very defensive right away and didn’t want to accept the criticism. If this is the way he treats customers, I can understand how badly he treats his employees. There are better Thai joints along El Camino… this one just sucks now.

Red curry w/chicken medium spicy — the curry sauce itself was creamy and flavorful, with the right amount of spicy, but the chicken quality was lower than most. Everything else with the curry was spot on. Spicy pork w/medium spicy — pork is lower quality just like the chicken :(the marinade and flavor itself was pretty good, but the meat is the main thing for these dishes! Sticky sweet rice w/mango — $ 5 for a huge portion for two! In fact we couldn’t even finish it. It was made with no attention to detail, literally just a quick home made style mango, coconut cream sauce, and sticky rice. It was still good though. I loved it. Atmosphere is intimate and calm. Spent $ 33 on those two entrees, two bowls of rice, and the dessert. There’s one young girl worker there who needs to learn how to greet and speak up. No good service from her. She ignored us while at the door.

I’ve been to this place twice now. I am in love with their food and it’s an amazing Thai restaurant. I can’t believe I crossed this restaurant so many times and it never occurred to me to try it out! I’m glad that I tried :) Their menu is so vast that you would need some time to glance through and see what you need to order. They have lots of choices. We had Thai Rolls Vegetarian and Roti Panang as appetizers and the latter is a good one! Roti Panang was nice but I’ve had better at other Thai restaurants. Love their Garlic and Pepper Chicken, so yum! Basil Fried Rice was quite delicious with lots of veggies but they added a lot of Tofu in the dish which overpowered the dish. One thing I must say! They have unusually high spice levels. We are used to eating quite spicy food and asked for hot spice level and my God! That was way too hot for me! So for first timers, I would recommend starting with mild spice level. I would have rated the restaurant with 5 stars but couple of things made me opt for a 4 star rating: 1. Their service is pretty slow. The first time we were there, we had to wait for around 45 minutes to be seated(this was during weekend dinner time) and even after ordering the food they took a long time to get our order. 2. Parking is a big big challenge here, there are very limited parking spots and some of the parking spots are dedicated to neighboring stores which makes it even harder. Hope they improve the above aspects, otherwise I’m all up for this place! :)

I’ve been here over 10 times already so this review is way overdue. Here goes my list: — Best Rad Na I’ve ever had. The sauce is wonderful and full of flavor and the noodles are sooo gooey(my favorite). It’s not available during lunch for their lunch special otherwise I would be in heaven. — Thai ice tea is perfect. I always ask for light ice to make sure I get the maximum amount of tea possible. ;) — lunch special is amazing. the portions are giant and the soup and fried wontons add a nice pre-meal touch. — the stamp card keeps us coming back. there’s something oddly satisfying about getting a full stamp card and redeeming your free meal. — the pad thai is made without tamarind in consideration for those who have allergies. Although it doesn’t have tamarind(which I love), the flavor is still on point. — service is slow, but not slow enough that I would ding them a star for it. Overall Dusita is my to go spot whenever I am craving Thai and I always tell all my friends and co-workers about it.

The parking lot here is very tiny and packed with cars. They have ample street parking nearby in the neighborhood if you do not mind a bit of a walk. We enjoyed the food but thought the wait for it was a bit too long. We will come by next time but probably only for take-away.

My hubby and I were too lazy to have a sit-down dinner in a restaurant so we decided to dine in with take-out. Wanting something light, we chose Thai food and Dusita Thai Cuisine was one of the closest restaurants by. At first, I had to call at least three times before I was finally able to get through. I was informed by the person on the phone that they were having a big influx of take-out calls and thus it would take some time for our order to be ready, roughly 30 – 40 minutes. My hubby and I weren’t too hungry, so we said that was fine and ordered the pad see ew with beef and garlic pepper chicken(mildly spicy). The restaurant itself is located in a tiny plaza with MINIMAL parking so I had to run in and pick up our food as my hubby drove around for a bit. But even when we got there, I still had to wait for about 10 minutes for our food to be ready. Dusita is pretty well decorated with warm colors and roomy tables. There may have been a lot of people ordering take-out, but there weren’t many people dining in at all. When my hubby and I got home, we were happy to see that the food was prepared in tight and clean take-out containers that kept the heat and flavors in. Everything smelled great, but appearance wise, the color palette of both dishes were very similar. Our favorite dish by far was the pad see ew that was cooked with tender beef and delicious eggs. The eggs weren’t burnt which some Thai restaurants tend to do often. But the garlic chicken was terrible. The meat was dry and the taste of garlic was WAYTOOOVERPOWERING. Less is certainly more when it comes to this entrée. The one redeeming quality was the spice that somewhat covered up the garlicky flavor, but certainly not enough. Prices are reasonable for the food and while the pad see ew was great, that garlic pepper chicken was outright terrible. Maybe we will give this place a shot again in the future when we feel lazy to look up something new, but we’re going to stay FAR, FAR away from the garlic chicken.

I can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this spot yet. This is our go-to Thai spot. The servers here are very friendly and always remember us. We used to go here during lunch when I worked closer. It’s always busy so plan accordingly. What we like to swallow: ROTIPENANG: Hot and flakey triangle squares with penang dipping sauce. Even with ‘no heat’ the penang has a bit of kick. So tasty! TOMKHASOUP: Hot and lovely coconut soup with fresh ingredients. We love this soup. The small is big enough for two people to have about 2 ½ bowls. PENANGCHICKEN: This is my favorite dish here. The penang curry is really tasty and I like that the veggies are very fresh. MANGOSTICKYRICE: Perfectly cooked mango sticky rice with perfectly ripened mango. I can easily eat two of these please! Yay they have brown rice! We have ordered many other dishes from this place and we are always pleased. Parking is a pain in this place. We always park in the street around the corner and walk, especially after eating all that yummy food!

This is my go-to spot for a work lunch. It has one of the largest selection for the lunch menu I had ever seen. I have tried many items on the lunch menu, and everyone of them had turned out wonderfully. The only thing is be careful during lunchtime. It can get pretty packed, and you’ll have to wait awhile for a seat. Their chicken is always moist and flavorful. The wonderful thing about their curry is that it’s always the right consistency and flavor. Not sweet and not too salty. Sometimes Thai places would make their sauces/curry a bit sweet, which I don’t like. Their noodle dishes are also wonderful. They make them a bit al dente and not mushy. Even their rice is pretty consistent with the right texture. All in all, this is the place to quick for a quick bite for lunch. Just a note: — Their spiciness is more spicy than some of the other places. If you can’t handle the heat, make sure you order no spice. Another reason why I like this place is that they give out a stamp card. 10 paid meals equals a free meal.

One of my favorite thai restaurants I frequently visit with my family :) One word: authentic. Service here is amazing! My boyfriend once left his hat and they kept it till he returned a week later. But what keeps me coming back is the large portions and everything is just plain delicious. Oh! and If you love spicy, you need to make your way here asap. They do not play around with spice level and i learned that first hand :( Recommendations: 1. Tom yum soup: They do not skimp on the seafood! It was one of my favorites of the night. 2. Roti bread: They warned us this dish would come out last which meant it was fresh :) 3. Kao soy with chicken: It was a curry/noodle chicken combination that reminded me of a dish my mom used to make. 4. Pad thai

Parking here is such a pain. The lot is tiny and shared with several other restaurants in the plaza. I ended up just parking on the street. I came here for a late lunch on a weekday(around 12:45pm) and it was still fairly crowded. But the previous wave of diners were just about finished so we waited for only 10 minutes or so before being seated. Their lunch specials are great! I ordered the chicken panang curry and it came with soup and spring rolls. The soup was very good – simple and light. It tasted like chicken noodle soup but without the chicken. I really liked it. The spring rolls were great too. They had the perfect amount of crisp! Now, as for the curry… all I can say is… they mean it when they warn you about the spice level. Their«mild» was definitely on par with the«medium» at most other restaurants, and it took me by surprise! So if you have very low spice tolerance, I highly recommend getting your dish without any spice at all. Besides that, the curry was great! There was a lot of flavor and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Portion sizes are great too – I was very full at the end of the meal! Overall, it’s a great place to stop by for lunch. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. And if you like spicy food, you’ll get a kick out of this place!

Excellent restaurant. The area is not so great but the restaurant is very good and not expensive. I highly recommend it. I had the«salmon in love» dish, which is delicious. Their dishes are rather hot so I took medium spicy, which was spicier than very spicy in other Thai restaurants.

Food was delicious, prices were affordable, and there was no wait to the place. We started off with a roti appetizer. The sauce it comes with was really delicious — mildly spicy, but it was enjoyable and full of flavor. I had the Pad Thai with beef and my boyfriend had the mussamun curry, which he ordered as mildly spicy. I think the curry was a bit too spicy for my tastes, but he enjoyed his dinner and I enjoyed mine. The Pad Thai here was really good and had a nice presentation. I did not leave feeling hungry, to say the least. I had to dock an entire star for the service. While the servers were friendly, the pace of service was incredibly slow. I think they only had two people working the floor and they were constantly busy. This place could definitely use a third person. Food was slow to come out and water refills were pretty few and far between, which isn’t a good thing when you’re eating spicy food. Even the check, which I was waiting for while writing this review, was delayed in arriving. Regardless, I would still be willing to give this place another try. The food impressed me enough to return… even if the service was a bit off putting.

Came by for lunch the other day and it was surprisingly decent. As other Unilocalers mentioned, parking is challenging in the small private lot. Street parking is plentiful. The interior is rather decrepit but service and food definitely made up for it. Lunch started off with complimentary fried wonton wrappers and soup. Both were decent. The Pad Khee Mao Beef had generous portions and also came with a couple vegetarian egg rolls too! Beef and noodles were both tender. The mild spicy level was decent and the waitress did mention that Medium tends to be a spicy level at other Thai restaurants. …I did notice quite a few ants on my table and along the wall… eek?!? …they also seem to have a stamp card promotion
