Fairycakes

I ordered 4 dozen mini cupcakes for a small work event this past Friday: Maple Bacon, Red Velvet, Strawberry Cream, and Chocolate Raspberry. (I also, secretly, got myself a Tiramisu.)
I’m not a big sweets person, but I just couldn’t resist. The tiramisu just melted in my mouth. It was pure bliss. I wish that when it rains, it would rain these cupcakes. The strawberry cream was so fluffy. I was craving the cupcakes all weekend. Crack?
There were not a lot of coworkers in the office that day, so there was a lot of leftovers after our gathering. I did see people continuously return to the kitchen throughout the rest of the day. They were all gone within 2 hours.
The only criticism I received was that people wished there was more bacon, but who doesn’t want more bacon?

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I needed a special order for my best friends birthday and Brian told me he could do it for me in ONE day!!! The cupcakes were so fresh and my friends all went crazy for the Maple Bacon and the Chocolate Salted caramel habenero! Thank you so very much and I will be calling again soon. I would have posted photos but they ate them all!

Amazing cupcakes! Brian was very helpful in getting me 6 Zingers cupcakes even though I didn’t have a chance to order them 3 days in advance. The cake was tender, the filling was true to form, and the frosting plus toasted coconut made it perfect — I haven’t found any other bakery that makes Zingers cupcakes and certainly not this well. This cupcake even converted non-​cake eaters to cupcake lovers! This will be my go-​to cupcake place from now on and they are only $ 3 apiece, plus they have a buy 5, get 1 free deal!

I am long overdue with posting this review. I have passed Fairycakes dozens of time (they are next to Channel Fireball where my kid plays Magic the Gathering). In any case, one day as I was leaving, I saw someone coming out with hundreds of cupcakes on trays so I had to stop and talk with her (sorry I didn’t get your name!). One thing led to another and the next thing I knew, I was sampling cupcakes. She was so generous and offered us as many as we wanted! Thank goodness my husband was with me so I didn’t look like a complete glutton eating a number of cupcakes on my own. We ultimately tried the following: s’mores, lemon cheesecake & salted caramel. Not only were the cupcakes amazing, but whoever was dealing with our shenanigans was truly a gem. Way to go Fairycakes and I can’t wait to find you and the truck out and about!

So it’s kind of tough finding a place that makes pineapple upside cakes/​cupcakes. Well, Fairycakes to the rescue! They make pineapple cupcakes! Hooray! I had a difficult time finding a place that could do it for a friend’s birthday.
Ordering was very easy. I even thought it was somewhat last minute (same week), but apparently that is enough time. :) This team is great, and I’m a supporter of small businesses. They had very detailed instructions of how to locate their kitchen, which was very helpful, because their location could easily have been missed.
I was unable to pickup during the time I had requested. They were leaving for lunch and sent me an email to let me know how I would be able to pickup the cupcakes if they were not there. Great service! They even included an extra cupcake for me to try when I picked up. Such a friendly and great team.
The birthday girl and others loved the cupcakes, and thought they tasted fabulous! I thought they were ok, but I’m very much a chocolate person. :)
I would definitely not hesitate to order from them again.

Fairycakes are magically delicious. I ordered 6-​dozen for our company Christmas party last night and they were a hit! We thought we’d have leftovers because I ordered plenty, but every last one disappeared.
We went for Tiramisu, Smores, Churro, Cookies N’ Cream, Bananas Foster, and the crowd favorite… Vanilla Salted Caramel.
I ordered online about a week and a half in advance and they had the order ready to go on time. We picked up at their Santa Clara location, hard to find but they have plenty of helpful tips on finding them.
Thank you, Fairycakes! Pretty sure I have to do these every year (and more) now since everyone totally loved them.

We ordered 4 dozen of an assortment of mini cupcakes and they were all delicious. The cupcakes were so moist and was a hit at the party.

I had a work event and was looking for cupcakes that everyone could enjoy and at the Same time was unique.
I found fairy cupcakes online and their selection looked awesome so I wanted to give them a go. I wasn’t disappointed. Everyone loved their cupcakes. They were just to die for.
Prices are reasonable esp. if you are buying 5 to 6 dozen. Pick up was easy it is hidden but not that hard to fine, opposite Costco. Brian and his staff are supper friendly and I would highly recommend them.

Fairycakes is amazing! They hosted a lunch celebration at our company and were a complete pleasure to work with. Both Brian and Renee were quick to respond to my numerous calls, arrived early and had plenty of delicious cakes to go around. It was a huge it at the office! Not to mention the cakes themselves were delish! Tiramisu was my favorite :)

We picked up a box when we were at Christmas in the Park recently. They were so so so yummy!
I had the triple chocolate cupcake. My husband had the s’mores and red velvet. He wasnt a fan of the s’mores but the others were amazing!
The frosting was not too sweet which was perfect and the rest of it was super moist.
Not sure how much he spent on it but they were good! I would definitely pick up more if they were food trucking in our area.

OMG I love fairycakes. I DJ for food truck events (movable feast) and everytime I see them at the spot I get suuuper happy. Every flavor I’ve tried has been awesome. and their SOO NICE! Plus they always have new flavors… the last time I did movable feast they had a pumpkin cake with COOKIE BUTTER frosting. So well done! If you aren’t familiar with cookie butter I highly suggest trying it. It’s available at trader joes. I often describe it as peanut butter-​like in consistency… but slightly sweeter. Anyway… since it’s kind of thick you can imagine how it would be tough to use as a frosting but Fairy Cakes did an awesome job of using only a dab in the middle with a similar frosting to surround it.
Innovative flavors (that are delicious, moist cake and excellent service! I highly recommend.

There once was a woman who had a sweet tooth and that sweet tooth would never come loose! One day she yearned for the satisfactory for some delicate cupcakes. Her journey soon came to a halt when she approached a food truck but it wasn’t just any ordinary food truck it was a magical kingdom called Fairycakes.
Dazed and confused the woman didn’t know where to begin. A variety of options and only one mouth. Churro, Tiramisu, Turtle Cheesecake, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Red Velvet and so many more unique flavors she had gotten weak in the knees and had to take a moment to process all of this in. At $ 3.00 a pop and a sign that said buy 5 get the 6^th free she knew that she would have to break out some stacks of Abraham Lincolns for this journey. Each nibble was so moist every bite she took kept her craving for even more. The journey had to come to an end and start on her voyage back home and work of those calories before they traveled straight to her thighs.
Till the day the woman and her cravings will meet again, Fairycakes will be forever branded in her memories (and in her contact lists).

Off the bat this is coming from someone who has never liked cupcakes.
Maybe it stems back to the days of grade school when kids would always bring the cupcakes (from the Betty Crocker/​Sara Lee mix) when it was their birthday. Even some of these other cupcake joints have not been enough to turn me into a fan.
Enter Fairycakes
I was intrigued about this place when it came to my neck of the woods for Moveable Feast.
Decided to try it. The flavor selection is almost mythical; flavors you have in other dessert arenas but never with cupcakes.
I’ve tried probably a dozen of the flavors at least (Churro, salted caramel, maple, maple bacon, cookies & cream, red velvet, lemon cheesecake, peanut butter, etc) and all of them were on point
What makes these special is how the flavor is deeply imparted in the icing which isn’t overly sweet and permeates throughout the entire cupcake. In some cases it doesn’t taste like the flavor it claims to be: that’s not the case here.
The customer service is very nice and friendly. If you buy 5, you get the 6^th free.

My husband and I went to a moveable feast and tired the cupcakes. We were in love with how amazing they were and all the flavors!!! I got the cupcakes for my husbands birthday and everyone loved them. They are moist and flavorful without being overly sweet and they look amazing!!! we got churro (delicious), snickers (incredible), mint Oreo (yum), peanut butter cup (to die for), smores (I wanted some more).
The owner Brian was super helpful and quick to respond to emails. The pick was easy and the cupcakes looked great. I HIGHLY recommend this place for parties or just to get a yummy treat!

we ordered two dozen mini cupcakes for our gender reveal party a couple of weeks ago, and they were PERFECT!
The communication with the ‘chief fairy’ Brian before the pick-​up was fun and uncomplicated, as was the pick-​up, and those cupcakes… HEAVEN :)
We will be back for sure! love the price (especially compared to all the other cupcakes shops out there), love the customer service, love the cupcakes!

I ordered cupcakes from Fairycakes for my baby shower this past weekend, never having tried the food truck before. My husband and I loved the range of flavors, not to mention really fun names. Brian was super accommodating, providing the flexibility to make a dozen more when the final head count was finalized the week before the shower. He was also very helpful in timing to pick up the order.
At the shower, the cupcakes were a hit! We didn’t have enough for everyone to try every flavor we ordered, but if it was possible our guests would share or sneak a few more. They were raving about it after the shower and those who stayed late were able to sneak one or two more for the road. They were just the right size, just the right amount of sweet, and not overpowered by the frosting. I can’t wait to try all the other flavors!

Fairycakes is every cupcake lover’s dream, and even if you’re not a cupcake aficionado I can almost guarantee you’ll love Fairycakes. No joke, these cupcakes are SO moist, and they are jam packed with flavor without being overly sweet. I have tried about 8 different flavors now (I know, I know… I have a problem) and I have yet to be disappointed. This is coming from a huge cupcake lover, but an incredibly picky one.
I’ve had two experiences with Fairycakes, and both were excellent. We had requested Fairycakes to cater an employee luncheon for our company, and let me tell you, we definitely did not make it an easy experience for Brian. Not only did we have to reschedule the date of the event multiple times, but we also had a lot of red tape we had to get through regarding permits, fees, etc. By the time we finally finalized everything, I had expected him to be so fed up with us, but instead, he took everything SO well and continued to work with us. Prior to our event, he was even nice enough to swing by our office to bring us a few samples so that we could get an idea of what flavors we wanted. In the end we chose PB&J, Ultimate Red Velvet, Birthday Cake, Lemon Cheesecake, Tiramisu, Salted Caramel, Bananas Foster, and Chocolate x3. The day of the employee luncheon came, and Fairycakes was seriously the highlight of the event. Everyone who attended was blown away by how delicious these cupcakes were, and he even had a side table where he provided milk to go with your cupcakes, and extra toppings for you to decorate your cupcake with! All of the employees were raving about these Fairycakes, so when I say that just about anyone would love these cupcakes, it’s because 300 people can’t be wrong!
Needless to say, after the event, we were all hooked on Fairycakes. A week later was my boss’ birthday, so I thought what better way to celebrate than to order these delicious cupcakes again? The online ordering system was a cinch, and Brian responded back quickly during our email communication. He is seriously such a pleasure to interact with — Brian, I am your forever fan.
So ladies and gents, if you can’t tell already, I’m telling you that Fairycakes is a must try. Just remember to always keep calm and get your Fairy on!

Fairycakes cupcakes is one of my favorite places to get my cupcake fix on. Not only do they look adorable, but their flavors are fantastic!
I picked up a few of their mini cupcakes for a birthday party. Perfectly bite-​sized (literally gone in 2 bites), these cupcakes were so moist with just the right amount of sweetness. I also liked how the frosting wasn’t as thick and piled on as many of the other mini cupcakes I’ve tried. These really are perfect if you want to satisfy your sweet tooth craving without feeling overly guilty about eating a few: P
My picks:
* Red Velvet: Not my favorite flavor; barely any hint of red velvet in it, though I did like how they weren’t overly sweet.
* Salt Caramel: The saltiness was a little overwhelming for me. Overall, not my cup of tea.
* S’more: This was probably my favorite. Picture this: a chocolate cake filled with chocolate ganache, surrounded by vanilla buttercream, and topped with fluffy marshmallows… Have you started drooling yet? Mah gerd, so so good!
* Tiramisu: Fabulous coffee taste; another winner.
* (Fat) Elvis: Banana cake filled with chocolate ganache, surrounded by peanut butter buttercream. Very yummy.
* Birthday cake: Vanilla cake with cream and sprinkles on top; simple but oh-​so moist.
If you are looking to buy a few dozen of their cupcakes and/​or mini cupcakes, their prices are quite affordable ($ 15 for ½ dozen cupcake or 1 dozen mini cupcakes), and ordering through their website is also a breeze! Do make sure, however, that you order 36 hrs ahead of time if you’re getting them for an event.

Wow, I was blown away how delectable the tiramisu cupcake was!
If you see this truck, definitely try the cupcakes – you won’t be disappointed! I want to try the salted caramel next time!

Had my first cupcake from Fairycakes yesterday and I am in love! I totally skipped all of the of the food trucks and head straight for the cupcakes. The woman taking my order was super nice answering all of my questions. She even gave my nieces free mini cupcakes!
I had the salted caramel cupcake, which is a crowd favorite for a good reason! The cake is so moist and the ratio of cake to frosting was on point! I loved the caramel sauce in the center of the cupcake.
I also tried one of their new flavors, the turtle cheesecake. Boy let me tell you it is so Devine! It’s topped with toasted pecans giving it a nice crunch. Again the cupcake did not disappoint in the moistness. Bravo! I loved the little chocolate surprise in the center of the cupcake! Genius!
Believe me I will eat cupcakes for breakfast lunch and dinner if I could! And I would certainly have the Fairycakes!

I picked up the buy 5, get 6^th free deal at Canoas and Curtner. This was my first time having fairy cakes and they were delicious! I had the Salted Caramel and another whose name I can’t remember but it had like a raspberry center? Anyway now I’m dreaming about getting more next friday. This was supposed to be a special treat for my 2 kids but now it’s my special treat as well! My only wish is that they are a little bigger. These are not tiny but don’t look as big as my regular go to bakery either.
