Floors R Us did a quick and I thought good installation of my vinyl kitchen floor. But wait, the installer did not seal the seams. Next call they did half of the seam and not the rest. Third try the did not clean the seam and sealed a line of dirt under the sealer. I don’t know what to do now. I’ll go back and see if anything can be done. Wouldn’t recommend this outfit. After the review above Floors R US called me. We agreed that seams show and can’t be hidden, I just wanted it glued down smooth like the old seams were. The point they wanted to make is if I had called again they would not have left me hanging but come out to try to correct the job. But I was out of time and had to move on so I just left it as is. The initial installer did a great job of matching the pattern at the seam and a tight fit of the two pieces but failed to glue down and seal the floor at the joint so they curled up. It seemed pretty simple to me, just glue down and seal the seam of an otherwise excellent installation. The take away is they want work with you to correct any discrepancies until your satisfied.

The contractor who runs this business is a guy named Paul Chenchenian, and his phone number is(408) 605‑3319. He took over a botched job on our house after our first experience turned out to be an unlicensed scam artist and who ripped us off for over 60K, plus stole a bunch of valuables from our home when I was gone. Paul finished our bathrooms, having to rip out what the previous contractor had done, and they turned out like works of art, and less than ½ the price the previous contractor had quoted us, and using FAR superior materials. The previous contractor had also included in the quote to us a a partially re-done kitchen(repainting the cabinets, keeping our appliances, which were over 40 years old, etc.)… Since then, Mr. Chenchenian and his excellent crew of expert craftsmen totally remodeled our kitchen(from demo to the studs, to complete installation of the appliances, working till 3pm on Thanksgiving day, in a total of 11 days) using beautiful, top of the line maple cabinets, marble countertops, granite backslashes, recessed lighting, pull-out shelving, under cabinet lighting, absolutely EVERYTHING top of the line, and he recommended an appliance place where I got $ 11,000 worth of top-of-the-line, matching Frigidaire fingerprint-less stainless steel appliances, including a double oven(one coverts to a convection oven) with five burners and a warming area, and a shelf-deep french door fridge, with double ice maker, and filtered H2o and Ice, fora TOTAL(dishwasher, double sink and faucet too, for $ 5300. The original price on the stove was only 1K less than that, and w/o Paul’s sending us to THAT appliance place and person, we would have spent twice as much on appliances, and gotten inferior quality appliances that would probably have been mis-matched. He has replaced all of our windows throughout the house, using the best quality windows available,. In short, he is a miracle worker! Additionally, he and his guys replaced our automatic garage door, front door(they match), and installed a security door, changing out all of our locks to even more secure deadbolt locks, redid our exterior painting and trim, and the brick fence posts at the front of the house, replace and repainted all the fence slats, built a flovely redwood enced in yard at the back of the house for our new puppy, installing sod and sprinklers, re-did all of our landscaping, and currently is replacing all the glass(2 floor to ceiling 6″ sliding panels w/1 stationary panel) in the living room and dinging room, with thermal double paned glass and new screens, and is also installing a french door in the side of the living room, building a redwood elevated porch, landscaping the side yard, and installing a large fountain off the side of the porch, which will be fed underground by a faucet nearby, and have all new electrical put around the deck on both sides, as well as a spot-light in the side yard for nighttime illumination. Paul also finished off our enclosed, screened in back porch, which the previous contractor had left incomplete, and has done a ton of rewiring in the house — it’s basically got a new electrical panel, and much of it has been totally rewired. I am quite sure I am forgetting some of the work Paul and his crew have done over the past year, because it’s been so much. Whatever they do, they do in a matter of a few days, are prompt, leave NO mess whatsoever, keep the site totally clean while working, will haul away anything extra(within reason) that you may need taking to the dump, and are generally the VERYBEST contractors I have EVER worked with at an extremely reasonable price. I have recommended them highly to all of my friends who are considering remodeling, and cannot say enough good things about both Paul and his crew. I do not hesitate to leave my home unlocked and unattended when ANY of them are working there, as they are completely trustworthy, and everybody who has seen my home has been astounded by it’s total transformation! In conclusion, we are planning a move within the next couple of years, and have asked Paul to do whatever renovations are necessary on our new home, and cannot wait to see how he will transform it! He and his crew are the BEST of the BEST!!!
