Hambly Studios

Hambly is a must vendor when it comes to scrapbooking supplies. Their transparency screen prints and vellum paper are nothing else I’ve been able to find in the market. The patterns are modern and look awesome in all sorts of projects — scrapbook layouts, mini albums, cards, etc. I especially love the silhouettes and grosgrain patterns.
As far as their customer service goes… It’s great; I have dealt with Chris and Rose with all of my transactions, and every time I’m 100% satisfied.

I love their overlays, their scrapbooking paper, their unique take on this wonderful hobby! I do! Their website is awesome and so are their designers. Hence the high score of 4 stars…
But their customer service sucks, I’m sorry to say. I feel bad just writing this but my experience must be stated!
I bought a gift certificate and some supplies form their online store. The package came, but I didn’t see any gift certificates. So I email Hambly and was rudely referred to the invoice which had some codes. Like I was supposed to already know that their GCs already came in the form of numbers and letters that you plug in on the ‘net when it’s time to order, and not in the form of a visible card or something. That’s fine! The lady could’ve been nicer, but I was happy with the info.
Come three months later, I did give the GC code to a friend for the holidays. Then, I find out they gave her such a hard time… that the code didn’t work by itself. That they needed to know my name to look for it in their records. That they were rude AGAIN. Yeah, that was a really NICE present for my friend. SERIOUSLY!!!
Buy Hambly… their products are one of my most favorites in the scrapbooking world, but beware of their customer service! If I could substract one more star without damaging Hambly’s name, I would…
