Waffle Gelato was good. Flower gelato is just 3 ice creams. Did not like the snow flake.

I was craving some milk tea so I stopped by honeyberry! I ordered Thai iced milk tea with pearls and their signature Roti bun Yogurt Chip Cream Cheese. I came in around 12PM and despite them being open ever since 9AM they notified me saying they did not have tapioca pearls ready. I was fairly disappointed but I decided to choose rainbow jelly instead. Once my order was ready I tried the Thai milk tea and boy was it really sweet, which isn’t my preference. I tend to enjoy milk tea when there’s a hint of tea and a bit of sweet to it. And the roti bun was warm and fluffy but I was good. Overall the food was good and not bad. I will be back in the later future!

The claim of fame is the Roti Bun that our choice was sold out and we faced the option of waiting for 20 minutes for the next batch or settle for a chocolate filled one. We chose the latter and it ain’t bad at all. It is the Krispy Kream version of the bread. Crispy and sweet crust, very very light and fluffy dough, then filled with a difficult-to-name-that-flavor cream inside. I can only imagine the calorie count as I bit into the bun. That flavor? Definitely butter with something else.

I’ve visited the different Honeyberry locations in the Bay since they’ve been around and this one seemed a little off to me. On Saturdays they open at 11:00AM and when my boyfriend and I got there the doors were still locked, then a guy came out and said we do open at 11:00AM but my workers aren’t here yet. And for those roti bun lovers, you understand why you’d wait, so of course we waited. So about 20 minutes passed by and more people came in and the manager told said the same spiel he told me, and within the next couple of minutes 2 workers came in and we got to order. We ordered 2 drinks with boba and some roti buns. We were told that boba would take another 15 – 20 minutes to make and we were willing to wait since we can chit chat over devouring some of the roti buns. There was no problem in getting fresh roti buns but then a worker came to us said that the boba would take longer than what was originally anticipated, it would be an additional wait of 45 minutes! In my head I was thinking they were not prepared at all to open which was sad and they told my boyfriend they didn’t have mango for his mango smoothie!!! I know they didn’t sell out because they just opened, so this experience was a bit disappointing. I’m a frequent visitor of this chain but this location has to pick it up a notch!

They have interesting collection of desserts. It was my first visit and I had frozen yogurt. It was very tasty and will definitely like to go there again(also to try there roti buns that so many other reviewers have mentioned).

Love love love this place. Big fan of their roti buns, my favorite is the cream cheese one. The roti frutella with strawberry is delicious. This place smells like heaven. I have heard that their pearl tea is also awesome, hoping to try it out very soon. I am not really a dessert person so the roti buns make for very balanced and not overly sweet, lower calorie sweet sinful delights for me.

This place just smells so good! The roti buns are always fresh and warm. Highly recommend the Waffle Gelato. It’s absolutely amazing. The waffle is cooked to order, hot and crispy. Goes perfectly with 2 scoops of their 11 different Gelatos. If you love pastries and sweets, try this place out!

After having dinner nearby, we wanted dessert. It was national dessert day after all! We dropped by on Wednesday, October 14th a little after 9pm. *Roti frutella($ 3.50) *Butter roti bun($ 2.15) *Gelato: Vanilla, Toffee choco, Green tea, Mango($ 1 ea) So I’m not a big dessert person, but I can appreciate a good fruit centered dessert. As long as it’s not too sweet. I’d visited the Honeyberry by the roommate’s house before and wasn’t really impressed. I’d have to say, this location didn’t change my mind. In terms of the roti frutella, the combination of the roti bun, nutella, starchy bananas, sour strawberries and nutella didn’t quite work for me. Plus the messy crumbly roti didn’t really hold up to its filling. I did enjoy the gelato. Afterwards, I wish I had just ordered a roti gelato burger. I might try their other desserts if I every find myself back here, but I’ll probably skip their roti buns. They’re just not my type of dessert.

The gelato burger is amazing. I’ve been craving ice cream for a while, and this definitely hit the spot. This is my first time having the gelato burger and I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t too impressed with cream or macaroon ice cream sandwiches so I was doubtful of the gelato burger. But the bun was warm, soft and not too sweet. It has the perfect warm and cold combination when taken a bite with the ice cream. I would definitely come back again.

Pretty good stuff. This is solely a review for their roti bun though — I got a plain roti bun which is pretty cheap and DELICIOUS. Super soft, great texture, very sweet. They serve it to you warm or warm it up for you. The roti bun is basically a delicious piece of fluffy, hollow, sweet bread. Can’t really figure out how else to describe it, but it’s definitely delicious!

Nothing short of amazing! After eating at a chicken spot a couple of doors down, my boyfriend and I spotted this little dessert place. First and for most the place was very clean. Self service seating after you order at the counter and they even have a little shelf next to the trash to place dirty dishes when you’re done. They only have one boba cup size, which was perfect because my boyfriend and I shared. I’m not a big Thai Tea boba drinker but there was just something about it here that tasted amazing. My first time trying roti buns and that was the reason why I gave this place 5 stars. It was incredible. This will be my go to dessert place whenever I’m in the area. Must try!

I find excuses to drop by here for roti buns on a regular basis. Good thing it’s actually a drive away from home otherwise I’d definitely be carbo-loading all the time. I prefer the plain roti buns because they are simple, toasty caramelized goodness. My boyfriend prefers the chocolate because of the cream/butter layer inside. They changed their menu recently to include ice cream, and ice cream sandwiches with roti bun. I’d be concerned about them being over-sweet like the donut-ice cream phenomena, so will probably continue with just plain buns.

I’m always craving bubble tea so I went on Unilocal and checked around my area where there was bubble tea and it led me here. It was a quick drive and there was no problem with finding a parking spot in the parking lot. Honeyberry had a nice indoor environment. I love how it was brightly lit and that it was well-maintained. It had a nice art decoration around the wall. I ordered my usually, mango green tea with boba. My initial thought was that the cup was weirdly shaped. It looked like a bucket and this definitely would not fit your cup holder in your car. There was just this weird after taste in my bubble tea and I thought it was average.

This was my first time here and I had quite a pleasant experience. I stopped by after having dinner with one of my friends. She and I decided we needed to have some sort of dessert, so she recommended Honey Berry. Located in a plaza that had sufficient parking, the place is quite big for a typical boba/dessert establishment. I liked the«wide-open-space» feel when you first walk in. Honey Berry is also very clean and the menu is ultra easy to read. I ordered the roti bun with chocolate butter and a peach green tea with no additional topping. The tea tasted exactly like I expected, refreshing with enough sweetness to satisfy my craving. While I would have preferred to have my drink served in the taller-style cup instead of the fat-stumpy one, it didn’t really change my view of how the drink tasted. The roti bun, however, was what really blew me away. Assuming that it was filled with chocolate, I was a little surprised when I bit into it and it was just a regular pastry, but once I finished it, I realized the roti bun was perfect the way it was. Slightly warm and slightly crispy, it had chocolate chips all over its crust and just a hint of chocolate throughout the dough. While the pastry looked dense, it was actually quite light and airy, so I didn’t feel too bad gobbling it all up. While this was only my first visit, I think I’ll come back again(next time with my hubby so he can try it himself). Hopefully the next visit will be just as good!

«Shall I compare thee to a Honeyberry roti bun?» If I could actually write poetry, it’d go something like that. I have had nothing but great experiences here, only to be followed by some of the biggest sugar crashes of my entire life. Without fail. You can consider that a good or a bad thing – your call. Roti Buns: If you’re looking for the classic, just go for the plain roti to get the flavor: It’s a toasted sweet bread with a crispy coffee butter spread on top. Roti buns are very airy on the inside, but crisp and slightly crunchy on the outside. My favorite is the cream cheese roti, since the slight savoriness off the cheese inside the bun meshes well with the white chocolate bits on the outside. You can’t go wrong with the chocolate butter on the inside, either. Any option works well – it’s up to you to figure out what you want your roti bun experience to be. Recommendation: Anything that has roti bun in the name. Honey Bread: I wish I had the ability to keep eating more carbs, but to be honest, they’re a bit overwhelming. I always go for green tea and red bean combinations because they tend to be milder in flavor, but still deliver on sweetness. The quality of the honey toast can vary depending who makes it, because sometimes if there’s not enough ice cream then the taste of bread will make your toast-eating experience very bland. One pro? HoneyBerry cuts up the toast ahead of time for you so you don’t have to carve out the bread yourself Recommendation: Green Tea Honey Toast Shaved Ice: One of my favorite desserts at HoneyBerry, since it’s so refreshing. Honeyberry will heap on lots of toppings for this, and often includes a generous dose of ice cream or gelato upon request. Once again, I usually go for the green tea shaved ice just because of the flavor combinations, but I’d also recommend the fruitshaved ice for those who want a sweeter and tangier dessert. Recommendation: Green Tea I’ll probably return to Honey Berry for more desserts(can’t really say much about the drinks). Time to treat that sweet tooth.

The plain froyo is very creamy, I really like it. I had a fruit and red bean shaved ice with froyo once, and their honeyberry bread. Both were really good. I tried going back yesterday but it was closed(due to remodeling?) I hope they reopen soon.

Decent drinks. The roti buns are good. The service is blah. Friendly tip: Don’t go before 12:30pm because they will not have any boba available. Which, if you’re anything like me, kinda defeats the whole purpose of the drinks. Also, I wish they had fresh fruit more often! Someone tell the manager this!

Just say yes. if anyone ever asks if you want to go, just say yes. I LOVE this place. They only have four fro-yo flavors, and a few other desserts, but this means that what they make has to be REALLY good — and it is! My favorite thing to get, and to share is the yogurt shaved ice — definitely made for sharing, or in my neice’s case, all for her — Hey! That’s my dessert! The roti buns are also really good!

I arrived with my friend for dessert. Place is a bit crowded due to the chairs and tables not being placed in a way to get around easily. We had Rotis and green tea shaved ice. The shaved ice is pretty big so make sure to share! The roti is something I have never tried before. This was a different experience. It reminds me of those Mexican breads as well as the Chinese ones. We had the chocolate butter roti and I still smell of it after getting home. They bake them fresh and they warm them upon ordering. The shaved ice was done nicely. It was layered, with green tea shaved ice and then regular shaved ice, topped with Mochi, banana, kiwi and red beans. It’s a great place to try the roti, but not sure If I’ll be back for that.
