This little dumpling shop inside the Galleria Korean supermarket has decent dumplings for fairly cheap prices: $ 5.50 for 10 fresh, hand-made dumplings that are stuffed with a selection of shrimp, pork and veggies, as well as kimchi fillings. Had their kimchi dumplings and they were so scrumptious! Pre-cooked and ready to eat(although you can choose to heat them back up or fry them at home), these dumplings are done potsticker style — nom nom, potstickerrrs. Super thin dumpling skins filled with fresh Korean ingredients plus a hint of spiciness from the kimchi — great texture and mellow kimchi flavor… Delightful find!

Today we got the veggie/meat and shrimp mandoos for the first time and we are really impressed! There is one lady working in the back and she was very friendly. The mandoos are the best I have had in a long time! This will definitely be our go to spot and we will be back as often as we can. If you are looking for a quick and reasonably priced snack I would definitely recommend this place!

when I think of mandoo, I think Korean dumplings. they’re located in the back of the market right of meat/fish section near the kimchi banchan area. they’re cash only though, but they’re always warm whenever I come by. they have favors like beef/veggie, kimchi and something else… pork I think. regarding the term, «mandoo», does it also mean steamed white buns? the hankook market has fresh buns(kimchi pork, red bean, veggie?) called«fresh mandoo». the buns are more of a snack than a meal too. here, it’s both. they’re pretty good actually. only because I love dumplings… also a good buy if you only got $ 5 cash.

Good dumplings for the price! This joint is hidden in a back corner of the galleria. One lady runs the place and the dumplings are fresh and ready to eat. They have beef+veggie, shrimp, kimchi, veggie, king dumplings, and soup dumplings(the ones you can put in soup to make dumpling soup). It might be my own preference, but the beef+veggie dumplings were kind of bland(needs soy sauce). Oh and you come and take the dumplings to-go(there’s no sit-down dining area!)

Nice fresh dumplings sold by an old. Korean lady in the back of Galleria market. Got the meat and veggie ones. Thin skins decent filling. Cash only. I thunk it’s worth par boiling and then pan frying which may not be traditional but it’s tasty.

Awesome Awesome place. The dumplings are delicious! I buy a pack and bring a couple for lunch for the whole week. Pricing starts at $ 4.50 for 10 dumplings. Signs also say $ 5.50 and some other prices, but since I don’t read Korean I have no idea what the signs say. The dumplings come in Styrofoam trays wrapped in saran wrap. Like Kenji said below, this place has a total amateur feel, but that’s what I love so I will continue to support this business!

The store definitely has an amateur feel with the many ladies behind the register looking bored. I hesitated, but decided to give it a try for $ 4.50 for 10 dumplings. The dumplings were already cooked so I just had to warm them up. They were good texture and tasted healthy(a little plain, but works well with any sauce). I will repeat for the price and the quality.

I’m so glad I stumbled on this place. As I watched them handmake their Mandoo… it was reminiscent of my childhood days when I used to watch my mom make mandoo… and I just had to check it out. They make beef, vegetarian, kimchi, and shrimp… my favorite ones are the shrimp ones. They’re pretty good… I’m craving them right now…

who knew galleria had these hidden finds? mostly known for the roasted sweet potato cart in the store front of course(must try!) but there’s also a mandoo(dumpling) place at the back of the store. kinda random, among water filters and korean blankets, but they’re handmade and steam cooked right there on the spot! and probably sans preservatives and other junk you’d find in the frozen packaged dumplings. kimchi flavor is delish! mm… wanting some dumpling rice cake soup right now.

I love my dumplings, it’s comfort food for me. Jinmi’s does not disappoint — eat them hot or get some to-go to add to soups or steam/fry on their own. I just wish they were closer to me!
