I blew my back a couple weeks ago from sneezing.(yeah I am a big sneezer. runs in the family). And it sucked cuz I was supposed to fly to Asia on a 10 hour flight in two days with heavy bag to carry around. So I needed something quick to get me better and as usual I turned to acupuncture. I spoke to a couple of Korean people in the area and they recommended this place. Even though I completely believe the positive effects of acupuncture all my life, I had a doubt that it will get much better before I left for the trip since the pain was pretty bad and i only had two days. The doctor there is an old lady(this usually means good in estern medicine since it means more experiences with more patients) I went in there without appointment and she took me to one of the booths. I lied on the clinic bed and she started applying needles on my back. Needles will be left on for about 20 – 30 mins with infrared light turned on the spot to help the blood flow. Then she also punctured around ankle, foot, and behind the knee, which helps with overall balance. After the first session, I felt a bit better but still had some pain. On the 2nd day, she went through the same process and I asked her if there is something else since I was to leave the next day. She did blood suction around the spot with the most pain. Basically has a small suction cup with pump and she did like 10 spots with a couple pump each. Then I hoped for the best and bam! The pain was reduced enough for me to carry my heavy bag without painkiller. And I fully recovered a couple days later when I was in Asia. I think she knows what she’s doing for sure and if I get into any sprained ankle or arm, I am definitely going back. Her first visit was $ 40 and $ 30 from then on.
