Highly recommend! I usually go to Chungdam or Jangsu jang for Korean bbq, but Mann, this place is awesome. Friendly and helpful service, severs were very attentive. The atmosphere is diverse. The price is reasonable. Will def come back. I found my go to spot for Korean bbq

This location is great for groups, as there is a pretty sizable private room for 20+ but there are also many BBQ tables for 5 – 6 people. The 4 person BBQ Combo has a ton of food and plenty for 5 people($ 119.99) Service is wonderful and attentive and they seem to have endless bottles of soju. Note: This location’s menu is different than Dublin’s.

Excellent service. They cooked the food for us. Food is amazing as always, and we appreciate that they constantly checked on us! Side dishes were always replenished as well as our Chamisul! Looking forward to coming back soon!

TLDR: 5⁄5 if you’re Korean! Otherwise, buyer beware because service might suck. I went here with a fairly large party at 7pm on a Saturday when they were decently busy. At first, we thought that they were just busy with other customers since most tables were full. We were seated fairly quickly, but, we spent HALFANHOUR trying to flag down a server to even ask for water. A little bit later, we were finally able to order and the man who finally took our order gave us a bit of attitude(apparently we didn’t order enough…). I believe that their 4 person combo meal comes with rice, but they didn’t bring it out until we explicitly asked for it(along with confirmation that the rice was included). We noticed that all the other tables around us were getting good service and had servers constantly and regularly checking in on them — with all the other tables full of Korean speakers. how about that? On the upside, they had a TV with the Warriors game on! Watched a good game v. the Sac Kings — which was probably the only upside of the night. The food itself was decent, if a bit on the pricer side.

Love this place! We have a lot of small children and we never have issues booking the banquet room so we don’t disturb the other patrons. Love the food and the great servers. One of my favorite dishes is the pork belly/kimchi stir fry with noodles and the kalbi tang(soup), but I’ve never had something I didn’t like. There are a lot of Korean BBQ places but I really like the service here.

Great food, awesome service. What more could you ask for? Try: The spicy stir fry pork belly with kimchee is GOOOOD! Get it with the udon. The BBQ combo. Kalbi tang. The staff are so friendly and they give great service, which we totally appreciate especially with the amount of ppl + kids we come with. Thank you!

I been coming here for over 5 years + the service is A1 and the food is great. The owner is always attentive and is making sure to make your dining experience top notch. This place got revamped so the interior is very nice as well, and the vibe of the place is inviting. If you come in a few times they will remember you and will treat you well. 5⁄5 goto spot with the family!

The food is delicious! I love the sides, and service here is fantastic. Everyone’s so kind and very efficient. My family and I always come here(definitely our go-to spot). We’ve literally been coming here since it opened and it NEVER disappoints. My boyfriend’s mom always comes here when she has a craving for soup, and it always helps her with her headaches. The owner, the workers, the food, EVERYTHING = 5 stars. Thank you for the wonderful service here the delicious food.

Came here with a bunch of my friends but I don’t understand the crappy reviews. Obviously people don’t know how to eat or they’re ordering the wrong stuff. All the jjiges were awesome and the meat was good. This has to be one of my new spots in San Jose. Glad my friends recommended it!

Interesting reading the reviews here. I find people who rate 1-stars based on some perceived slight really have to get off their high horse. You’re not THAT important ok? If this place is that terrible why does this restaurant have so many 5’s and have a full house on a recent Saturday night? So let me set the record straight. This place is a solid 4. Having lived in LA for many years and having Korean colleagues take me to the best Korean BBQ’s in the capital of k-BBQ’s, I think I’m qualified to rate this kind of establishment. Bottom line, I’ve been back about 7 times and the experience has been consistent. This place has solid service, quality meats and a generous amount tasty side dishes. The Ohgane BBQ combo is a particularly good deal. At times they should probably hire a few more wait staff during peak times, but they are working hard and trying to be as attentive as they can.

Came here for some hotpot with my boyfriend and decided to get the braised oxtail. It does not come spicy but we requested so and they were happy to oblige! It’s very big and comes with rice cakes and vegetables. Good enough for 2−3people. The hotpot is not soupy so if that is what you are looking for, don’t get this. Also it was actually very good but was a little bit lacking in flavor. We asked for extra spicy and it was not spicy at all. But to be fair it does not normally spicy at all. Lots of side dishes and service was good even though they looked busy, thank you! Can not wait to come back and try their korean BBQ!

This place is so good!!! Probably in the top 5 Korean places I’ve ever tried. I’m an avid orderer of the bibimbap, and this time was no different. One huge differentiating factor between good bibimbap and mediocre is not the meat, but the accompaniments. I love it when restaurants include mushrooms and a lot of well seasoned veggies in their bibimbap and Ohgane did just that. It was very very good. I also had good things to say about the bonchon. They provide a lot of small dishes with a good amount of variety. Anchovies, picked cucumber, picked radish, kimchi, and fish cakes were all part of my pleasant experience. I was a little disappointed that the honeyed potatoes weren’t offered, but it’s not a deal breaker. Service was alright, but the food was on the pricier side. Probably more expensive than most of the Korean restaurants in that area, though I would definitely go again!

I feel like I just got scammed. I thought I was entering Myung Ding Grill(MDG), just like the exterior signage says. Once we got the lunch menu I realized restaurant is now called Ohgane with new ownership. Not only the name changed, the prices has increase significantly. Had to double check with the waiter if we accidentally got the dinner menu. Even at dinner prices it’s quite expensive. My usual order at MDG is the Korean Spicy Beef Soup(Yukaejang). I was hesitant ordering here but gave Ohgane a chance. Once the soup came, I could immediately tell it wasn’t going to be good just by looking at the spices and oil content. Soup was bland and tasteless. I was so disappointed. The side dishes were just average, nothing to rave about. I was really disappointed the price did not match the food quality. I was expecting to pay lunch prices coming here instead I was paying dinner prices. Most Korean places around here is much better than Ohgane and offer cheaper lunch special. Ohgane doesn’t offer any value for coming here at lunch. I just couldn’t see myself coming back.

Hair in food… Can it get any worse? Unfortunately, it is. Food that’s supposed to be hot came out luke warm, food that’s supposed to be chilled came out icy. Even aside from that the food itself would not make me come back as it was tasteless and pricey. They should question their business ethics and the management as well. The manager decides to run to the back and hide when really he should be the one apologizing. One of the waitress even told us just to leave since we were upset. And we did just that. All in all, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Save yourself the trip, money, and appetite.
