one star for product efficacy Proactiv’s sales strategy is dishonest. You think you are buying a 3 piece set for 19.95 without anywhere CLEARLY stating that they send you gigantic size product for 3 installments of 22.94 and even after you cancel– they still send. Will never use gain– Rodan and Fields– you should know better you’ve made more than enough money by now

1 star for actually working… to some extent. Most of the cost is subsidized into the containers, you actually get a very tiny amount of the actual product, in fact, one of the containers is almost completely hollow. Also, the proportions are completely off, so you’re left with useless containers. When trying to cancel, they told me to try it for a while, and that they’ll delay my next shipping 3 months. I completely forgot about it and they sent me a package that’s apparently 3X the size, and so 3X the cost. I’m going to refund it, and see how that goes.

The skin care works, but customer service sucks!!! if you create an account with Pro-active, be ready to talk to customer service people who do not care at all if you get your shipment or not. Even the supervisors are rude and condescending. Totally not worth the stress and the headache. Think twice.

I couldn’t figure out why my expensive sheets and bath towels were all becoming discolored. The pillow covers were the worst which is what made me realize that any fabric touching my face became bleached. I had to throw everything away… and it didnt even help my acne! Something that does that to fabric can not be good for your skin! What a waste of money. Katy Perry you mislead me!

Canceled my order six months ago and they kept sending me packages so I wouldn’t accept them at the post office. Looked at my bank statement today and these idiots had charged me $ 65 dollars so I called them again. The sales person on the phone was breathing hard and cutting me off, he said that they hadn’t received any of the boxes back and that I hadn’t canceled(they did this exact thing to me 6 years ago). He rudely tells me that I have to go the post office and get a proof of mailing certificate and MAYBE I’ll get refunded, then he erases my credit card information without my saying so, ANDSTARTSTRYINGTOSELLMEVITAMINS! So now I cut him off and say«How are you going to refund me if you just erased my credit card information?» He says well they will PROBABLY mail me a check in about six weeks. Six weeks? For their mistake? So I say, «Please let me talk to a supervisor?» and he puts me on hold for another 10 minutes, then comes back and says I’ll have a supervisor call you back. So I go «Will that be today?» and he goes, «I don’t know, I’ll put in a request for him to call you back today. Even if I get my refund in 6 weeks, I will not get any money back for the other packages because he claimed they didn’t get them, I didn’t even touch them at the post office! Proactiv has a whole gaggle of untrained people who are just guessing at things, not canceling accounts, and trying to talk over you selling things you don’t need. I really am disgusted with them, is there any way to rate 0 stars?

First of all, when you see a customer obviously interested in making a purchase, drop your Christmas lights and tend to me! I stood there waiting for her to stop playing with a tangled Christmas lights before I finally got her help. Mind you, I was the only customer and this is a mall KIOSK… I’ve been wanting to try this out so I looked it up and saw the price on line. I figured it’ll be cheaper in the store because I won’t have to pay shipping, I was told it’s actually MORE. When I voiced my disappointment, the«manager» said sarcastically that it’s ONLYTWODOLLARS! You know, it may just be two dollars but it’s MY two dollars that I would rather save for something else. It must be nice someone who works at a mall kiosk wouldn’t care about a buck or two… Because I already decided to buy the product, I chose what I wanted and was ready to pay. She proceeded to explain how this works but oh my! She spoke like an overheated robot and I did not understand a word she said. It sounded very complicated that if I didn’t already know about this product, I would have just walked away. When I asked about a travel size or a sample(so I can take it on my short trip), she again sarcastically told me that they don’t «do» samples because their products are guaranteed. What does that mean? It’s unfortunate that sometimes a good product gets a bad rep because of a rude representative. I would probably go to another store or order on line the next time.

Bought the 3 piece set for my teenage niece, used for two days. Step 1(the wash/scrub) exfoiliated well, but has a medicine smell to it. Step 2(toner) smells nice, doesn’t sting. Step 3(repairing lotion) also smells, does not feel overly greasy. I’m not sure which step or if it was a combination of everything, but it made my niece’s skin break out into a rash. Good thing they have a 60 day money back guarantee.
