Sperry Top-Siders

Sperry shoes. These are truly top notch shoes, but beware of their prices. They are prices, especially the Gold Cup shoes. However, like any patient person, you should wait for after the holidays, as that’s when their shoes go on sale.
The service here is top notch and the shoe design/​quality is also top notch. That’s a lot of top notch! The shoes are very comfortable and are very fashionable, despite being boat shoes. You don’t need to wear them when you’re on a boat, and in fact you’ll look pretty stylish wearing them for almost any occasion. Just don’t take them when you go hiking as you don’t want to get mud on these really nice shoes.
Overall, it’s a great place in the heart of the Valley Fair Mall. Check them out.

I had a really great experience here buying duck boots to help combat this California rain we have been having! I had seen their duck boots online, and liked the way that they looked so figured I’d come in store to try them on. The woman who was working there was incredibly friendly and helpful without being pushy. I appreciated how attentive she was. Got my new boots and I’m a happy camper. No more wet socks!

This happened a while back, but it’s never too late to write a review.
I was looking for a new pair of Sperry Top-​Siders and I had already stopped at Macy’s to see what their price was before stopping here. I noticed that the price for the exact pair of shoes that I was looking for was slightly cheaper at Macy’s than it was here. To be clear, I’m not necessarily a cheap person and I know that not all stores can do price-​matching. And, if a store can’t and politely tells me so, I won’t argue and I will either suck it up and buy the item (s) or take my business elsewhere at a place where the item (s) I need is/​are cheaper.
But I figured that maybe if I let them know that the shoes were cheaper at Macy’s that maybe they’d be open to giving me a deal on the shoes I needed. Well, written below is pretty much how the conversation went between one of their employees and myself:
Him: *Is chatting with other employees, sees me walk in and walks over to me* «Need any help?»
Me: «Well, I was thinking of buying these shoes here but I saw that they were cheaper at Macy’s.»
Him: «Lol ok» *proceeds to walk away and chat it up with other employees like he was doing before he saw me*
I didn’t even get a chance to ask if there was any possibility that they could match the price of what Macy’s wanted or not. I wasn’t trying to demand that they match the price or anything. I figured that by simply mentioning what I saw at Macy’s that maybe he’d tell me that they could either match the price or not or that he’d ask me if that’s what I wanted them to do. But nope, what I got was a «lol ok» for a response and that was it.

I’m a Sperry newb. I admit it. I’ve never owned any shoes of this brand in my life. However, as I keep aging (unfortunately reaching the end of my crazy yet beloved twenties) I feel the urge to start dressing more age appropriate. Well, I had an interview to go to and I didn’t want to wear my dress shoes. These are the perfect kicks to sport in that scenario.
One word to make this experience worthwhile: Jeremy. No, not Jeremy Lin (Go Lakers!) but the sales associate named Jeremy. He was incredibly helpful in showing me the selections and even up sold me custom show laces that rock! He also gave me a military discount which is awesome! As for the store itself, it is very clean and well organized. If you’re looking for some Sperry’s this place is as good as it gets!

This place is great! They helped me find the right pair of shoes from their huge selection. I went with the Gold Cup shoes since they are a little nicer. I’ll probably come back again for a different pair of shoes.

Very clean and well-​lit store with friendly and helpful sales associates. Also one of the few places that carries stylish men’s shoes in 13 and 14!

I love Sperrys so I automatically love this store. They have all the new and popular styles so it’s great to come in and see what they have. The shoes tend to stay full price so definitely keep your eye on the website if you are a bargain hunter. Overall great store.

It’s nice to see the Sperry brand doing well and also selling more things than just their boat shoes that became super popular with high school girls a year or two ago.
The location here is small but laid out well. When we arrived, we were greeted by a really friendly sales associate who answered our questions, and we also chatted about how long the store had been open and if they were doing well. He said that people are still really discovering that they have a location there.
There was a decent selection of footwear for men and women. They had four different kinds of boots, including a pair of nice, green wellies with quilting. They were on sale for $ 75 (originally $ 100), which sweetened the purchase.
The only thing the store could do better is mirrors. Apparently there is one at the back, but the two by the floor are too small (and also don’t seem that high quality), so it’s hard to get an idea of how you actually look in the footwear.

Finally… a top Sperry Top-​Siders store in Valley Fair Mall! I had no idea that they were opening up a Sperry store, so you can imagine how excited and surprised I was when I saw the brightly lit store as I was shopping the other day.
I absolutely love all of their styles – from their loafers to their boat shoes – and you can’t really go wrong with a pair of Sperry Top-​Siders because their shoes are durable and of good quality. The staff was very friendly and offered quick service. I am glad that I do not have to buy these shoes at larger department stores. You can’t beat going directly to the source!

Took over old Nine West location right next to Sheik. They’ve done a great job with the store layout making it more open and extensive to walk the back part where you can easily help yourself. Didn’t find anything I liked personally, but was able to grab some moccasin style Sperrys for the girlfriend. New store, but priced from $ 60 to $ 45? Probably because the size was selling thru? Anyways it was a good deal.
The guy working there at the time was nice. He welcomed us and asked if we needed any help. Bland approach but it was okay because we were able to find what we liked on our own. Thank you for trying though, effort must be commended.
