If you want to successfully purchase or refinance your house, I highly recommend avoiding Richard Yoon.
Richard Yoon performed the appraisal for my home equity line two months after I refinanced. His appraisal was 15% lower than the previous appraisal in a housing market that is heating up.
My next door neighbor has a smaller house which was recently appraised 20% higher than Richard Yoon’s appraisal.
His comps were nearly a mile away, when there were comps within a few blocks.
Richard is a nice guy, but he needs to improve his ability to accurately appraise homes. As a result of his mis-​appraisal, I have to start the process all over again.
