I called chuck to give me am estimate for my property after giving the estimate he said can start next week. I asked for some reference and he said he will provide me with some. Then he calls me the next day and leaves a message that I did not get a good feeling about your work so I will pass on it!!! If you don’t want to work then say I am busy I can’t take on your job.
I am giving a three star because he showed up right on time. And sounded very knowledgable.

I recently hired Chuck Short with Action 1 Handyman for repair work at a rental property. He handled all the electrical, plumbing, paint and carpentry himself at a fair price. It was a large job that lasted several weeks and he always showed up on time. He paid attention to detail and kept the worksite clean. I’ve used a number of handymen over the years but have finally found a one I can trust. The guy is honest about the job and what it will cost. The work went so well I hired him to work at my own house. He is licensed and based in Santa Clarita which is a bonus. I definitely recommend him.
