Charnock George Am, MD

If you are looking for a great endocrinologist… look no further! Dr. Charnock is an amazing, old-​school – actually charts notes on paper and looks patients in the eyes – doctor. He was a doctor my wife chose to get a second opinion. We are so glad we did. The first doctor was going to put my wife on diabetes meds that she did not need that would have caused her to go into a coma (pregnant). I highly recommend Dr. Charnock for outstanding service, patient care and being knowledgeable.

Had a midmorning appointment here recently.
Clearly a very well educated physician. I felt I was in good hands, like he really knew what he was doing and what he was talking about. I felt that he cared about my medical problem.
Wait time wasn’t that great. Waited over 30 minutes for doctor to see me. Luckily I wasn’t in a hurry.
That being said, the blonde headed woman at the front desk was not very friendly, in fact she was very cold. No eye contact or hellos. She made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome in the office. I give the Dr. and the male nurse 5 stars, but because The receptionist was so indifferent and cold, I rate this practice 4 stars. When are doctors going to finally wake up and realize that the staff at the front desk can be their entire practice? Some people would not go back to that office for this reason.
I recommend this doctor, and I recommend new front desk staff for the doctor. He deserves better— and frankly so do his patients.
