Expert Design Nails Hair Spa

Not happy this time around! I usually come here & they do a good job. I really feel it depends on who you get or go to. A man did my pedicure & cut the nails on one foot too short, cutting the skin on my large toe. I tried explaining to him but he doesn’t speak english so that needed to be translated to him by a coworker. I wasn’t offered a discount, just told they could add a tip to my mail & he was sorry. I will come back but never allow him to do my pedicure again.

Nana is my girl for gel nails ! She is very sweet and very good at what she does. I know gel nails are supposed to last about two weeks but I get very busy aka lazy lol and I’ve been keeping them on for about a month before seeing her and they’ve held up very nicely. The shop is very clean and the rest of staff seems very friendly and hard working. I would recommend this place.

Pam, the owner is the most talented nail artist I’ve ever been to. Awesome.

I was extremely disappointed when I had a full set done here. Not only did they look horrible. A nail broke within 4 days of getting them done. The rest were all loose and began to pop off one by one.

Last week I made two appointments for my friend and I. When we went in, Pam the owner had started my nails and At the point of having the plastic extension I was pushed to the side as another woman had an appointment also. Pam finished HER nails and then began on my friend. I was so confused because I thought the point of calling ahead was so I could be the priority. It took two and a half hours to do a pink and white set. she also forgot to clean under my nails, didn’t cover the whole nail with gel, and four of them have already fallen off along with multiple chips. have been coming here for my acrylic nails for about a year now, the past three times I have gotten them done at least three nails have lifted off and the rest chipped. I always tip a minimum of $ 5 because I understand how it is to work with women and I want to leave happy. But this was the worst experience I have had at a salon. I will not be back and neither will my friends.

Katie has been doing my hair for a couple of years. She always does a great job. She doesn’t try to upsell you and is honest about needing roots or entire color. Which can be an additional cost. She has helped me keep my hair healthy with doing highlights etc. I always appreciate her advice.

Pam did a great job on my full set! I’ve been going to her for about 5 years. Great customer service! I got a full set & pedi for $ 45.

Pam was so accommodating at took me last minute. My mom has been going here for a while and told me Pam and her daughter do the best gel nails. Pam was so kind, and my nails look amazing. She recommended the perfect color. The shape, Polish and service was really great! I can’t wait to come back again and will do a spa pedicure next time! Thank you Pam!

So many nail salons I have been to lately rush through the entire process of a pedicure and doesn’t make it worth the trip. I have been here twice now and both times I have received great service at a fair price. I will continue to go back because of the friendly staff, good prices, and it is clean and kept up.

I love the job that all of the ladies do on the gel nails! The look lasts, and I like their attention to detail. They also have a fantastic range of colors to choose from. I usually walk in without an appointment, in the evening, and they accommodate me nearly every time. (I can tell when they’re busy and give them credit for being honest about their availability.) The one time that I made an appointment, I had no problem being attended to right away. I’m sorry that I didn’t start going to them sooner! My nails are actually growing now…

I called the day before to make an appointment for two pedicures. We walked in a couple minutes early for our appointment and were told very rudely that we did not have one. Then the lady mumbled something and walked away. We waited, but she gave us dirty looks. So we eventually just left about 20 minutes later. She never apologized or said anything when we put the nail polish away and left. It was very uncomfortable and kind of embarrassing.

This salon is FANTASTIC! Great customer service, great prices, and great nails! Nana is AMAZING. I get a gel manicure every 2 – 3 weeks and go to her every time. All the other ladies in the salon are great as well, but I love Nana. She has great ideas for designs/​color schemes but always suggests and never pushes them on me. However, I usually let her go with whatever idea is in her head because I know it will look great. I have a very tight schedule and they always find a way to get me in even if that means coming in early or staying late. I couldn’t recommend this nail salon enough!

My second time back, and this time I actually received service. I got
a gel manicure and a regular spa pedicure. The gel on my nails is lumpy, the color is uneven, and parts of the nail don’t even have polish on it. The tops of my nails were left very rough and could use a lot more filing. My pedicure is splotchy and, again, some of the nail has no polish on it.
It was $ 42 combined, definitely not worth it, and I will not be coming back.

This the BEST place to get your nails done in the Santa Clarita Valley! Not only is it affordable, but the quality cannot be beat by any other nail salon.
I had Nana do my gel nails and they are phenomenal! She also did my eye brows and they look better than before. Heidi did my toes and she did an amazing job! If you go in I would recommend requesting these ladies to do your nails!

This place is absolutely perfect! My nails ended up looking great and they last a long time. Gel manicure has many colors to chose from! My pedicure was heavenly!

Had my hair colored and cut by Courtney and she is wonderful!!! She is a gem and I am so happy with my hair. Can’t say enough to compliment how amazing she is.
Also had my nils done by Pam and she was much better than pricier salons I have been too.

I grew up in LA and had my usual nail lady who even after my move to the SCV i would drive down to go get my nails done. But after my sister told me about Expert Design i decided to give It a try, and since then i have yet to go back to my old nail lady … (SORRY)!
But Nana is amazing, not only does she do an amazing job, but she is so funny and talkative which is great!
I always get a gel manicure and a spa pedicure and they last me for a very long time. i go see her about every 3 weeks which is so amazing.
There have been other times when Nana was gone that i went in and was helped by the other ladies that work there and they all did an amazing job! I highly recommend!

Went here to get some highlights and and a trim from Katie.
She was great! The color and trim were exactly what I was looking for. It was my first time getting my hair colored and Katie was extremely patient with all of my questions. She is very nice and I will be going back to her again.
The salon itself is very clean and welcoming. The owner Pam is very nice and the prices are great!

I had my hair cut by Katie about 1 month ago and she did a great job. I stopped by yesterday just to get a little trim (¼ inch off). Unfortunately, Katie was not there but Pam, the owner, was. Instead of letting me know that she was not proficient at hair cutting, she… practiced … on my hair. Instead of using scissors for a light trim,
she used a depth guard on clippers and trimmed the sides and back. one side of my hair is trimmed over my ear and the other is covering about ¼ of my ear (which is what I had asked for). My hair is not evenly layered and quite frankly I am very upset that I went into an establishment for a professional cut and came away looking like I had my mother cut it. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed with the poor cut, the decision to even attempt to cut my hair when not properly qualified, and at the lack of professionalism.
