Last time coming here! Feeling the need for a malt. Do they even know what malt is? Sure did not put malt in my MALT, I will find a place that cares enough to listen to those that ask. Place is dirty too.

Place is good but service is slow. The drive thru is too slow. Took 15 mins to get food.

So we came to this place we felt we needed to get it out of our system. And we did. Anddd we are never coming here again. First it was very hot in there, I almost got up to open the darn door. Service was slow waited too long for our food. The burger was plain and not tasty, my husband got the pastrami burger and was also missing flavor. We stayed for ice cream hoping it was going to make up for it and nope, it didnt. The banana split was gross, all the toppings had extra syrup making it too sweet.

Slow service. Associates who are rude and unfriendly. They don’t know how to smile. Had to repeat my order 4 times. I expect polite associates when I’m at a food service place not rude kids.

Food is good, but customer service is aweful. My husband and I went in for some ice cream this evening and the girls at the counter were rude and seemed annoyed it was very warm in there, so my husband and I weren’t sure if it was us or the heat in the place. Either way take some. pride in your business and train your employees to treat customers right. Hopefully next time we go in, there will be a friendlier atmosphere well that’s if we return.

The girl at the cashier for the drive-thru has a bad attitude. They should hire someone pleasant.

Absolutely one old school ice cream. I have been coming here since 2004 and this place is a great hanging out for teenagers from a school nearby. Their décor is more of early 90’s, yes looks dated. They serve ice cream, burgers and other deserts. I never tried the burgers. The ice cream is a delight for me. They serve semi-creamy soft serve ice cream. Prices are decent. Banana split is huge. Go for two people on that one. Staff is mild manned and courteous, mostly student getting their 1st job This place deserves a makeover. That’s why I left two stars out. They still use old system of doing things. They should make it more appealing to more people. Right now, people who come here are families or young teens. You don’t see hip people coming out with their ice cream on tow. Weird that they have not served Gelato too like some other ice cream joints.

Disgustingly Dirty. Would never set foot in there again. Everything you touch is either sticky or greasy. BEWARE! Your children’s health is not safe here!

This location was disgusting and gross! The location is old and very dated but for the most part it appeared to be clean. The bathrooms were awful with flickering lights, very much looked like a scene from a horror movie. Ordered the slick chicken sandwiches, discusting! The chicken had no seasoning, tasted very old, deep fried one too many times, or both. The lettuce was old, the tomatoes were soggy, and barley any mayo. And the fries… Old and under seasoned Do not go to this location

The worst Foster’s a Freeze ever. It’s been years, but I actually remember liking this place when I was younger. We went here because it was our only option. The food tasted like old grease. Really old. It’s hard to make a great burger, but it’s really hard to make them this bad. And the restroom key was attached to a phone book. Literally. A phone book. I guess they were guarding the bathroom from the employees because it certainly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. So gross. Do. Not. Go. Here.

Decent food. Kinda greasy, but that hits the spot sometimes. Staff always seems friendly. I go there mainly for the ice cream cones, which are just basic flavors in a basic cone, which I like. Nothing fancy but sometimes that’s just what you need. Reminds me of the old A&W burger/ice cream place I used to go to as a kid.

Probably one of the worst experiences I have had at a foster freeze location. As a former employee of a froster freeze I know personally that they strive to be the best in customer service. The young lady that was asisting us was very polite until she brought us our melted banana splits and apologized for the ice cream being melted. We asked if there were any way we could get another one made since it was melted and she said it wasn’t THATBAD. Her boss had to tell her to make a new one and she had done it with an atitude. Not a great way to leave a customer experience. Prime job to the manager for doing the right thing, I would suggest you coach your rep Marissa. Best of luck.

Huge location, outdated. I ordered a bacon cheesburger combo, it was missing something, oh flavor… fries werent memorable either… The Fosters in San Fernando is way better, if your gonna eat shitty(unhealthy), that’s the Fosters to do it at… I won’t be back to this location!

I’ve had great meals here, from a single patty burger and a chocolate shake, to a double bacon cheeseburger with two Nathan’s hotdogs, each for only $ 1.19. Burgers to me are always hot and beefy tasting, different from your local McDs. Takes like a local burger grill. Shakes were thick and filling. And the hotdogs are best smothered with relish and mustard, IMO. Not a usual place for me to eat, but that’s gonna change now.

Ahhhh Fosters. This is not the classic Fosters stand, this is a complete restaurant with indoor seating area. It has been here since at least the mid 80’s when I arrived in this valley. Well, not much has changed. Fosters corporate is still in business, but you would not know it by looking at the inside of this franchise location. A lot of the posters are old and taped up on the windows with a re-used appearance. The décor in here says 1983, maybe 1982, complete with mauve levelor blinds and horrendous 1980’s floral framed prints. The signs inside warn that within 15 minutes of getting your food, you better be gone or you are subject to arrest for trespassing. The crowd contained a lot of rougher(by SCV standards) folks. It would seem they have had problems at times. But, they do have a drive thru if you want to skip the inside. Ordered the full meal, including a Boss burger and criss cut fries. The fries were new and according to the poster they were sprinkled with adventure. Well, they were OK, on par with Carl’s Jr’s criss cuts but not as good as our recently departed Dickeys BBQ restaurant. I also could not taste any adventure in them. The burger was good, though they really need help centering the cheese. Both pieces were half off the patty. Once I repositioned everything, the burger was good. They really shined on the soft serve, their signature item. They are one of a few(maybe the only) place in the SCV to offer chocolate soft serve. It is very good and you should stop in just for this. The place appears to be owned by an Asian couple. They appear to watch everything, I even caught them double checking the weight of a soft serve one of the workers had made. It always is a little worrying when you see a place watching everything this close. Makes me wonder what else they are skimping on. But they did offer free refills behind the counter so they cannot be too frugal.
