Haven at Home

We knew we wanted to do a home or birthing center birth when our little one came into the world. We met with seven local midwives interviewing and learning about their backgrounds and birthing philosophy. We finally chose Haven at Home. We were SO happy. Karin and Callie were incredibly supportive and continue to be a wonderful resource even as our little one is nearly one and a half years old.
Throughout the pregnancy: They would spend over an hour with us at each appointment and were there for every question without judgement. We felt at home with them and safe (physically, emotionally and spiritually).
With the birth: We had a beautiful home birth! They were with us every step of the way. It was the most spiritual experience of my life. I truly loved giving birth. Callie and Alex (their intern) were joyous and supportive and so sweet. Even when things did not go according to plan (as they sometimes do), they stayed positive and supportive and gave our family the support we needed.
After the birth: Karin and Callie have gone above and beyond to be supportive. The follow up appointments after the birth were smoothe and adorable. They continued to answer all of our questions and helped us with this new adventure and beautiful person in our lives. As a new mommy, every once in a while, I have questions (and small freak outs). I am able to check in with them and they answer my questions and calm me down.
We are so blessed to have had Karin and Callie (and Alex) in our lives!

Haven at home midwifes are a beautiful, brilliant team. They provided such a magical, mellow birthing experience from day one. I have a wonderful, chill baby and I defiantly believe it is linked to having a guided, natural birth by the radiant energy of these midwifes. I highly recommend haven at home for a superb birth
