Our weekend trip to Las Vegas started with a breakfast stop at this Canyon Country IHOP. This was a first time visit for us. We ordered our meals; my wife the Big Steak Omelette, and I the Fried Steak and Eggs. I can’t quite remember my son’s order. Not the freshest food, and it couldn’t have been cooked to order. Especially my wife’s omelette, the cheese looked microwaved hours earlier. And some short time later, Montezuma’s Revenge hit her with a vengeance in the Mojave desert. Some 3 road stops worth. I even had a lesser bout of the same hours later. Needless to say, our plans for dinner before the Mariah Carey concert were no longer an option IHOP has always been a major breakfast stop for both of us since childhood. But after this latest visit and visits to other IHOP locations in recent years with less then satisfactory experiences, we’re done! Eat here at your own risk…

This is my favorite spot for eggs benedict. They make it so yummy. It’s not on the menu FYI. The waiters and waitresses are a little forgetful but nice. I’ve tried eggs benedict at a bunch of other spots but they make it the best here.

Came in for breakfast on a week day morning was seated right away. The food was good, standard IHOP food. Service was good. Place was clean. Standard wait time for food to come out.

One of the better IHOPS. Had breakfast there and it was really good. Great waitress, nice and clean restaurant. Hubby had the french toast with strawberries and it was huge portions. I had regular breakfast and it was very tasty. Keep up the good work.

Just got here and the hostess with the glasses is very rude. Worst way to start breakfast. Don’t think I’ll even wait due to her bad attitude.

We have eaten at this IHOP over the years and the service has always been great. The restaurant has been been remodeled recently since I have been here last and it looks more like an elegant restaurant than your typical IHOP restaurant. The prices of their breakfast are kind on the high side so I would rather go eat at another restaurant that specializes in breakfast which the food quality is a lille better. However, if you are craving for breakfast and something fast, then IHOP is an ideal place to eat.

«Coffee» is just colored water with the smell of coffee. Service is slow. Food cooked with used oil. Stay away

Oh man where to begin the service is slow and horrendous took over an hour for food and there was only 4 tables occupied at the time and the waiter forgot our drink orders but the worst part was finding mold on the cheese on my food gross and potentially deadly. I won’t eat here anymore.

My GF(Sharna) just ordered Chicken Parmesan and guess what was just on her parmesan cheese… Mold. The waiter was nice enough to comp her meal but i was surprised to not have a manager come talk to us about it, i guess there wasn’t one on shift. That’s crazy. Last time i eat here!

I would give 4 stars or even 5 for food but as far as customer service goes, my son ordered a kids chocolate milk(kid’s drinks are now 2.99) and didn’t want it and asked to change it to a soda and the waitress said she would need to charge us another 2.99 if he switched. The fact that they charge the same for adults as they do for kids drinks is ridiculous, but to lie and say she couldn’t change it as she already put it as a milk in the system is just bad service. Especially since she rang my daughter’s tea up as a milk. I think this particular location needs a new customer service trainer. Other Ihop locations in town allow a child to change his mind. They don’t take empty plates out of the way and we had to ask for children’s menus. It is pretty sad that the cooks are the only thing worth bragging about at this location.

Horrible!!! To start, I found mold on my salad. They said they would give us 10% off because of that. Then when our food comes we found hair cooked INTO the steak that we ordered. At this point, nobody at the table wanted their food anymore. They comped the one meal with the hair and conveniently«forgot» to give the discount. Then completely IGNORED us for the next 20 minutes while we sat waiting for service. Safe to say we will NEVER come back again.

This restaurant offers more dish dishes than your usual Bed and Breakfast establishments. they have salads, egg, crepes, steaks and of course, pancakes. Place was crowded for Sunday morning. Waiting time is 5 minutes. The server was asking what we would like to drink. He had excellent customer service. My husband ordered blueberry waffles. While I ordered chicken pecan salad. My daughter ordered from the kids menu. What I like about this restaurant is that they offer menu choices for seniors and fitness conscious individuals like me. Now onto the negatives of this restaurant. The rest room was dimly lit and obviously dated. It needs to have that homey feel. The restroom was clean. When I came back from the restroom the orders were there. I was slightly disappointed of the large amounts of blueberry jam that my husband got from his waffles. He said if he knew that the jam was too much, he should have not order this. As for my chicken pecan salad representation was clean and the veggies look fresh. However this delight was short-lived Wed it turned out there was no taste in the salad. I see if the salad had only been washed in water and put on the plate. I didn’t taste the sauce or the dressing. The pecans was small and you cannot even taste them I had to order more sauce and pecans to get the crunch that I was looking for in the salad. another frown on moment was the balloon lady. I think for the restaurants like they do they shouldn’t offer the service. Simply because I believe that eating is an intimate moment with your family and friends. And therefore it shouldn’t be intruded by any form of sales. Honestly the balloon lady is perfect for establishments like Chuck E Cheese and mountasia but not for a restaurant like this. I believe and think that a lot of parents there have dilemma while eating whether to get her service or not and they felt compelled to get her services if your child decides they want a balloon. Even if it is a donation. I think to rethink of they should add in their customer Service if a Ballon lady is ok to visit their table. Not while you are eating. The server should ask before hand if it is ok for the Ballon lady to come over. The balloon lady should only visit the Tables who are open to be visited. That’s my Take on this.

The best part of I hop is that they’re usually open early and late. Worst hours here, fail.

Always had great food here. When they are busy it gets insane with wait times for checks, etc. but hey, it is IHOP… we have learned to stay away on busy weekends, holidays and especially Fridays between 6 – 8:00… Great pancakes and hashbrowns… love their specials!!!

Great pancakes and breakfast specialties, always friendly service. We primarily frequent this location during off peak times meaning we seldom go on Saturday or Sunday mornings since the place is usually packed and there is quite a wait to get in. I love the omelettes, my favorite one is the big steak omelette. I also love the crepes, especially the Swedish style. Overall, a good solid place to get something tasty to eat when you aren’t looking for anything fancy!

Food was okay for the rest of my family, but I ordered the shrimp. They were basically fried little salad shrimps. Oily and burnt. But my family like their food. They had breakfast items so, my mistake for ordering anything that was not breakfast The server, Jorge was really cool and good at what he does.

I really enjoy IHOP and have been for many years. My favorite dish there is the great steak omlette. It’s a large omlette and quite filling. Plenty of steak, includes hash browns and veggies. From a 1 to 10, I give it a 7.5. Their prices are a little high, my omlette cost $ 12 and change. They have a wide variety of food for all taste bud requriements, so variety is definetely a plus for IHOP. They have unlimited coffee, fresh orange juice(but not unlimited). They have 4 flavors of pancake syrup, original, strawberry, blueberry, and butter pecan. Overall, standard place and could be considered an upgraded Denny’s IMHO. For IHOP to earn more than 3 stars from me, it would need to taste more home made and not so «commercialized». Home made dishe taste always wins more stars from me.

National Pancake Day 2013. I was heading home, and there was a car was parked in front of my garage. I interpreted this as God(or a dead relative) wanting me to have pancakes before I got home. So I backed up and drove to Ihop for dinner. As I walked in, the place was surprisingly empty. The last time I had come on National Pancake day, it was jam packed. I silently thanked God(or my dead relative) for the suggestions to get pancakes right when I got home. Host-kid led me to a table, where I perused the menu. Waitress came over and asked if I’d like coffee or juice, and I opted for coffee. I also said I’d start my meal with free pancakes. She nodded and left. Apparently there were alot of free pancakes being made, as she came back not two minutes later with a short stack of pancakes. There was a big ball ‘o butter on top which I spread in between the three large pancakes as evenly as I could. I drank my coffee, and ate my pancakes. They were good. I tried to think of the last time I had pancakes, and I honestly think it was the last National Pancake day I had been too. They were very good, and I enjoyed them. After I finished my pancakes, I picked up the menu again and flipped through it. I was still hungry, but didn’t want a full on meal. Ah! Onion Rings. Excellent. Onion Rings are an excellent follow-up course to Pancakes. Waitress came by and I asked for an order of onion rings. She nodded and went off again. This time she waited about five minutes before coming back with a plate of onion rings, and bottle of ketchup. I forced myself to wait before picking one up. They were crazy hot on the outside, I imagined the onion inside flowing like molten lava. I waited a few moments and picked one up. I bit into it, and pulled the onion right out of the onion ring. D’oh! Okay, they’re name isn’t International House of Onion Rings. Try as I might, the rest of the onion rings went much the same way. First bite pulled the onion completely out of the ring, leaving me eating an onion, and then an empty breaded ring. They were okay. Ihop, you continue to please, and be a single step above Denny’s.
