I absolutely love this place! Such a great spot in Saugus. The owners are the nicest people I have ever met. Every time I go there they give me samples of new things to try, and I have loved almost every dish. My favorite is their cafeteria style lunch/dinner plates to-go. For the money you get more than enough food. Usually I get the butter chicken, rice, saag, and sometimes add a side of korma. My kids even love the food. They deliver if you’re close, I think with a minimum order. I’ve tried almost every other Indian food place in town and this one is top of my list.

I’ll be honest, I don’t have the most experience with Indian food. I’m past only ordering the usual stuff, but I haven’t traveled the world far and wide tasting Indian cuisine wherever I went. That being said, I have eaten at the other Indian Restaurants that Santa Clarita has to offer, and this one is by far my favorite. My wife and I order take out from Parashar’s pretty much every Sunday night. My wife loves the Chicken Malai and the veggie korma. I’m a big fan of the karahi ghosht(did I spell that right?), the lamb malai, butter chicken and pretty much everything else I’ve tried. My favorite thing to order is the Channa Samosa. Delicious. I know I’ve left some of the other dishes we like out, but honestly they’re all so good. The owner’s are so kind and have helped us broaden our Indian palate.

Food was okay. The chicken in the Chicken Tikka Masala was chewy and overdone both times we ate there. They have a minimum dollar amount for delivery and our total was within .95 cents. I guess they stick by their rules.

Best place! Delicious food. Great service. Everyone is so nice here and welcoming. Their tandoori chicken is amazing and so are the samosas and chicken tikka. Best place in the valley.

A great place for a lunch special. The owners and staff are genuinely nice and helpful if you’re new to Indian food. They offer samples of all their tasty dishes. The stews are flavorful but not hot. They do make their own homemade hot sauce for those who like the heat. The owners are also locals so give them a try, odds are you’ll make it a habit.

Was around the corner Unilocaled a vegan place and lo behold this highly rated place. Came inside was greeted by the owner and was happy to explain everything for my friend and I. However, I’ve had better Indian food than this, I don’t understand why the ratings are so high. My friend also agreed, she had some chicken dish. Also, the serving trays are a big turn off. I felt like I was getting some county jail food. Everything else cost extra like the naan. Want garlic on your naan? That’ll cost you more as well. The bathroom was very clean so thank you for that. Thank you owner for being so nice and attentive, too bad your food didn’t live up to par.

Chicken was a bit suspicious quality. Flavors of dishes were overall good. Portion sizes and the stupid plastic plates were horrible. Samosa’s were so tick, so tick, despite it was advertised as flaky. with an inch of tick heavy dough heavily fried and saggy. Awful. Eating your shoe bottom tests better and perhaps healthier. The owner was insincere and phony. Plastic plates, plastic smiles, yuck I do not believe. that this place could of generate that much of 5 star rating. There is no good reason for it. Must be some gimmick. Go check our for your self.

We entered this small restaurant because of the gluten free sign as I’m celiac. But, man, ITISAMAZING. The food is so good, so much taste, I can only strongly recommend anyone to get there. Ok it’s not a beautiful place, but that’s what you get when you want a mom and pop’s restaurant. It’s all about the quality of food and the kindness of the owners. Especially in Santa Clarita Valley where everything is about chain restaurants, I was blown to find such a wonderful and tasty place. Go go go go!!!

It’s located in a side strip mall near La Cocina, but don’t be deterred by the simple surroundings. The butter chicken, tikka chicken, cauliflower(I can’t remember the name if the dish), are amazing. But let’s talk about the samosas. Incredible flavor. This is a small family owned and run place and they put their heart and soul into making amazing food. I have talked many times to the owner and she is a perfectionist and has incredibly high standards for her ingredients and method of preparation.

I love this place! Food is cooked from the heart and they can definetly accomidate how spicy i like it. I crave the buttered chicken and the mango lassi! When i lived in orange county i would drive here to get it on my way to vegas. Poonam is an amazing lady and her and her husband are so accomidating to me and whoever i bring in when ever i come in. Im happy to be back im santa clarita because i get to eat here!

I took a group of riders here today. We ordered an assortment of dishes. The food was average OK and the price was good, however the food lacked zing something to differentiate it from the masses. It was a little warm inside some more cooling is desired… I am impressed by the number of reviews.

I’ve been wanting to come here for a long time. Stumbled across it while randomly searching Indian food on Unilocal.I came in and was about to order to-go from the buffet table, but the owner(parashar?) told me that if I waited 15 minutes she could make everything fresh for me. Obviously I did, and it was 100% worth it. Ordered butter chicken, lamb tikka masala, channa Masala and saag paneer. The butter chicken was intensely flavorful and really creamy. The only other place I had tasted it this good was at Punjabi tandoor in San Diego and I honestly think this place may even be better. I live in LA so this place is a by far from me, but I’ll definitely be stopping by again sometime in the near future.

By far the best Indian food in Santa Clarita and one of my absolute favorite places to eat. The Butter Chicken and Lamb Tikka Masala are my favorites! The food is reasonably priced and the combo plates are a great deal! The owners are incredibly nice too.

Only Indian food place in Santa Clarita that you get quick food to go without having to call in. They always have daal and vegetable korma and change everything else up every day. It’s great for vegetarians. The owners are lovely nice people. Just go! P. S. You have to get samosas though.

I just went to Parashar’s last night with Melissa for my weekly Indian fix. As usual, Poonam was working her magic in the kitchen and her lovely family greeted us warmly. I had a little bit of an upset stomach due to some greasy dinner I had 2 nights ago. When I told Poonam that, she made me this lovely lentil soup along with freshly brewed Indian chai that settled my stomach right away.(I never liked lentil soup until last night! LOL) We also had Malai Chicken, Matar Paneer, Bhindi Masala, along with their Jeera Rice and Garlic Naan. Everything was cooked to perfection and very satisfying. Their portion is always generous and their foods are never greasy. I’m so happy we found this place. If anyone’s craving a great home cooked Indian meal, this place is a definite must!!!

Seriously the best Indian food in Santa Clarita. I stop by and grab some food 2 – 3 times a week, the owner is one of the sweetest women I have ever met. Always get amazing service and the food speaks for it self. Prices are competitive. I look for three things to grade any restaurant; the food, the service, and the pricing. This place nails all three! I highly recommend this place if you’re a fan of Indian food or even if you are trying it out for the first time. Don’t like spicy food? Just let them know and they will make sure it isn’t spicy. Love spicy food? Let them know, and they will make it as hot as you want!

Where does one begin? The aroma of Indian spiced food made with love invades your nostrils as you find your way to a comfortable roomy booth. A lovely family greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel right at home. The wife took our order and replied to our questions with a wink, smile, and«I’m the chef, I’ll make it really good.» Really good is the understatement of the century, every dish we had was better than the last. The service was incredible, always walking over with a smile making sure we had everything we needed while stuffing our faces with this delicious meal. I cannot say enough good things about this experience.

Hospitality is off the chart here. My mother, sister and I came here to try out their food and let me start by telling you that you will not be disappointed. The kindness and attention to detail was overwhelming. This is by no means a five star restaurant but they cook from their heart and there is so much love in the food. If you are looking for one of those bubble gum, Valencia chain restaurants where everything tastes the same, then I would direct you to pass on. However, if you are looking for deep meaningful food that is prepared from scratch and done with proper care and attention, then this is the place. There is continuous layers of taste and flavor where even your taste buds would want to slap you silly. If you are a vegetarian, this would be the only place worth spending your money. Even if you are in doubt as to what to get, ask the gentleman at the register and trust me he will give you very good advice. My only negative is that this is not centrally located in Santa Clarita or we would frequent it on a daily basis.
