Wow! What an amazing job this company did on our home. We were never happy with our chunky stucco and always coveted the smooth stucco look of some of the newer homes in our neighborhood. Thankfully we had never painted our stucco, so, Samuel, the owner of Perez Plastering, said we could simply stucco over the old stucco with two new coats of smooth stucco(with a plastic adhesive mixed in) after pressure washing the old stucco to remove dirt and loose stucco, etc. The results are stunning! We love the mediterranean look. The color is in the stucco, so it fluctuates depending on the angle of the sun and when it gets wet ands drys out, which we love as well. Very old world. We felt the cost was very reasonable, and Samuel really takes pride in his work. He made suggestions to us about adding some corbels under the balconies and hooked us up with a vendor for concrete covered foam mouldings and corbels. He had his guys install the moldings after the scaffolding went up and before the stuccoing began. He knew we were installing new windows and he offered to set up the scaffolding according to our window installation schedule so our installer could use the scaffolding to get to a window that would have been awkward to reach with a ladder. He then worked with us to leave the scaffolding up for painters to paint the gutters and trim at the top of our very tall home, which again, would have been difficult to reach with conventional ladders. Sam Perez is very responsive… always answered my calls and my questions. His crew was very, very skilled at what they do. All of the stucco was hand troweled by these artisans. Samuel keeps in touch with them and is involved in his projects as well. He visited the job site on several occasions. We were referred to him by the man who built our house, who has used him on other homes he has built in our neighborhood which look awesome. This guy is a real find!!!
