Biggest crooks in the nation. Spent about $ 300 on 15 books. Went in and only offered me $ 40. I got so aggravated that I almost threw one of my books in the guy’s face. I just left and decided to sell on Amazon.

Both of my experiences at this business have been exceptional. On my first visit to this store I purchased two books which were both very reasonably priced-cheaper than COC and Amazon! My second visit was to sell back a couple books I had from my previous classes. I received $ 32 for the books, which I was pleased with considering I didn’t want to go through the hassle of selling them myself mid-semester. One of the owners, Taylor, who assisted me on my second visit was extremely friendly and helpful. I’m very thankful for his outstanding customer service and a pleasant experience at this establishment! I will be a return customer for sure.

I give this place a one star but then the prices they sell the books are good, therefore I have to give them two stars. I liked the girl that helped me but the thing I do not like about this place is the fact that they buy books that are so used and falling apart. I went back to switch out a book and they would not allow me to switch the book although I bought it there and they previously said yes all I needed is the book and the receipt. I rather order a new book then buying used booked from there. If I was the owner of this place I would at least give a discount to books that are written on and are ripped. Oh and another thing my friend bought a book from here as well and some pages were missing. CHECKTHEBOOKSBEFOREYOUBUYTHEM!!! THEYMIGHTHAVEPAGESMISSING!!! I changed my mind actually I give this a one star. Buy your books online(cheg, Amazon, Barnes and nobles) and even at school/look at the posters!!!

Not a fan. I spent over $ 500 in books and they offered me $ 65? Just try selling back at school or Amazon. Not worth it. And it was frustrating because they scanned 2 of my books and said I can give you $ 17. And I said no, then she changed her mind and was like I can give you $ 25.like which is it? Only go there if you are desperate for $

First off, let me say that this store is awesome. Last semester I book a trig book for about half of what I would’ve paid at the COC bookstore. It paid about $ 104 here. At COC it would’ve cost around $ 200. So, in terms of prices, to buy textbooks, this place is awesome. However, I went to sell the book back today, I only got $ 25. Really? Again, I would’ve expected half, so $ 50. So, that’s why they get 4 stars, instead of 5. Other than that, I’d definitely buy might books here.

I always rent my books from here. It’s cheaper than buying from COC and I get more for my books if I return them here. The owner was really nice and let me return a damaged book. Good service and the shop has a clean layout.

Crooks. Tried to sell my brand new stats book used only 1 winter intersession, spent around $ 200 dollars for the book with interactive cd and student work book(both unused and unopened) the owner(I assume) offered me $ 10 for the book. That is not a typo. He looked me dead in the face and said«ten dollars» they sell the book used for around 130 – 150. I was insulted. I literally laughed out loud. Place is tacky with a wack vape shop in the same unit so you have annoying vape enthusiast losers to deal with too. Sell your book online or through eBay or do what I did and make flyers and put them up at coc, I was able to sell my book for $ 80 cash and avoid dealing with the shady crooks who take advantage of students and their academic needs. They should feel ashamed and embarrassed for running a book store like this.

If I could rate –5 stars I would! I walked into the Book Exchange/Vape Store. When I entered there were at 4 – 5 teenage very immature BOYS, Vaping their brains out, talking about women and their private parts! They were so vulgar, I was embarrassed, and shouted«HELLO» Then 1 older BOY came over looked at the book I had and said it was not the current edition. I was fine with it. BUT, I was NOT fine with listening to very immature BOYS being completely disrespectful in an establishment that is suppose to be a business. Not to mention I had to interrupt just to get any kind of recognition for walking into the business. I’d have to say AVOIDSCVBOOKEXCHANGE.

I usually go here to compare prices when buying books. Most of the time they are cheaper then online or at the school, but if you plan on selling a book you’d have a better chance getting more bang for your book somewhere else. I recently tried to sell my book, the school offered $ 50, the book exchange offered $ 25 and wouldn’t even match! Doesn’t it say«Higher Buybacks Guaranteed». The guy wasn’t even cool about it he was very defensive. All in all buy books here don’t sell them here!

What the heck is going on here. There’s a vape shop inside this book exchange store… How embarrassing. Anyways, they try pay you cheap for your books. Try selling online or putting posters at your school before selling here. This used to be a nice place but it’s getting bad.

I was told to go check this place out; I heard I would get a good deal on a college book I was looking for. My History professor said we could use one of the older versions of the same book, so I give it a try. They welcomed me as soon as I walked through the door, and were egger to help me find what I was looking for. I did take a look at the prices and they were comparable to the college book store, however I did get a solution manual for my math class and they gave it to me for 50% off bc it was not going to be used the following semester. I learned that: They only keep books that are currently being used, so if it’s an older book it won’t be there. They are fairly price, not cheap… but what college book is cheap anyways?! There is an area where people donate their used books, which I looked through to try to find the book I was originally in there for. They buy and sell college books, I have never sold my books back to them, so I don’t know how much you can get for your books. They know just about every book that belongs to each class for coc, I found that to be helpful! It was nice to go somewhere, where people were happy to help, even if their prices are comparable, it was an enjoyable experience.
